I inherited mom’s young tom. He doesn’t seem to be likely to accept another in his territory. At the vet office he is social, but at home, even a sniff of trespassing makes him snippy. Yet, while sitting here trying to read he will come stand on my chest and belly, give me his head butt nudges, wanting head rubs and attention. 🤦‍♂️

The laws allowing anonymous and/or protected status to people making reports is so very flawed; seemingly a good idea initially, they are rife with abuse and misuse…even by department personnel on personal agendas. These type laws need to be changed and likewise allowing unmasked identities of all peoples making false claims. Natashia has used the law to attack her own son, and his dad, knowing that no abuse existed. Plausible deniability when her proximity to both the victim, and the accused would make it nearly impossible to deny familiarity of age and person being accused. If anonymity is going to be protected for accusers, and the agencies need to be just as aggressive for people, no only following false reports and using precious resources. Likewise, the very child that these accusers claim wanting to protect is traumatized at a young age with limited, legal savvy, making the accuser and abuser in the mental realm; that in itself should be aggressively reviewed. Obviously, I hate laws that allow people to abuse the system, manipulating the system, and victimizing otherwise innocent people, while being masked from the repercussions from abusing the system,, the resources,, and victimizing those innocent people. In this generation of AI, these type of legal loopholes or lead to even more frequent and in-depth abuse; these type of laws must close the loop holes.

While the intent of Ben’s mind may be along those lines for Riley, I’m not sure if subconsciously Ben’s not recasting himself, and the sharing of space seems to be Ben in transition himself.

While witnessing the event that was engineered to free him, Riley didn’t see the normal tactics of a simple debt collector; though any may pee or vomit 🤮 in presents of those sharks, he witnessed the pains of a full and in-depth audit and the immediate seizure of possessions required in forfeiture. Keith realized far too late, the interest on some debts can kill ya.

Everyone needs a good recycling program; especially one that is capable of 100% recycling.

Nothing wrong with Hank seeing a return on investments; whether early release or daily ration on production levels, surplus samples invite new demand.

Oh the suspense and the impending action and hopefully the freedom they can then enjoy together will be all the more exciting and rewarding; for all ..writer and fans. 😊

And hopefully Jesse doesn’t do the panicking rabbit run from hiding. I wondered why Hank was so concerned in armoring Jesse, for sitting in an reinforced vault, but perhaps Hank’s experience and his senses tell him Jesse will need the equipment…because that where Jesse’s mind will take him; into harms way.

🥵 I sensed some of the heat from getting moving and testing that all too confining cup; nope it ain’t no Dixie cup, but it might not be far from your lips when in pursuit of that very real meaning for all that is dear. Jesse is trusting Hank even in the face of all that he has known tells him to run, trust only himself. The stress Jesse feels comes through in ways anyone can sense, but especially when reflecting on more youthful perspectives where experience is limited and tainted.

Indeed, it’s a welcome sight. The excitement may follow but wow 😮, the suspense is ratcheting up to the tune of a full military engagement about to kick off.

Dang, my allergies acted up too. It’s rather moving for all these perspectives; Patrick’s nervousness and doubts whether it’s all real, Charlie living a new partner and family life he never truly imagined to be possible, Kieran enjoying love from Charlie and his parents after his own separation from his love, Charlie rejoining the work force and realizing his fortune in having Kieran return to him…saving his life, Matt realizing Charlie’s situation but also that of the guys as a couple, then the kicker that Patrick learns his Aunt and her family really do want him back in their lives… Oh my, those pesky allergies keep coming back. This chapter reflects on many many emotions, but mostly it focuses on new beginnings. Even Matt is indicating news acquaintances or likely to be friends, while Kieran’s family get closer while also increasing ties to the cousins, etc. A wonderful chapter for tearful 😢 appreciation…it’s like what many a family thanksgiving needs.
