Hahaha 🤣, it was a Rusty inspired moment; trying to remember that these boys are roommates in the college setting. Roommates, friends, family; with all the quirks that families bring. I could not personally accept the stranger mentality of some student roommates; be a part or be gone, as youth requires mutual support and socialization…therefore, the Rusty factor. It may not ever have a schedule but it was definitely an event! 😂 I’m still friends and contact the ole roommates from time to time. Good times when enjoyed with hindsight.

Much of the earth’s military space forces were annihilated under civilian command, in that foolhardy and arrogant attack on the aliens (book 2). Now the aliens have brought their battle to Earth, against that significantly reducted cache of assets. The planet’s defensive forces have taken a real beating, with First Fleet decimated, while other resources hold on…but under tremendous pressure, and now the strategic alien strike has reduced communications to pipeline styled relaying of messages. Hartley was left with his hijacked Shay DNA allowing Aqumi node access on Lucerne, while back on Earth our secreted away Mishith blessed guest has just been declared before a double agent. Shay and Dagen’s Blood are still incomplete in their quest to rejoin the Mishith Blood and Stone, as the once destroyed Herald has reconstituted in an improved makeover version of itself. With hardly a chance to transport the others to safety, our Mishith blessed warriors are in a battle to the death with this killing destroyer. The battling opportunist of Earth have hardly acknowledged that the only sain choice is to unify and coordinate resources against this conquering alien force…ahem…this genocidal cleansing force. The storyline complexities and character development have us pulled in all directions, all the while hopeful that our emotional attachment to these many colorful characters will somehow gain them strength in this Armageddon battle for the survival of humanity. @Stellar, THANK YOU. I’m still so amazed by all your stories’ complexities, development, and the excitement that you craft; while giving us characters that are irresistible to love and embrace. I do look so forward to another installment in the journey of Shay, his Miracle, Konstantin, (and Liberty..lol), and all the characters that support them in this amazing series. Please, please, please, keep the presses rolling!

Bouncer helped remove the man’s balls and handed them…to security…nope, won’t be needing them any more ( kinda like traditional marriage). Despite Garjah’s security protocols, will the suspect make it to questioning alive? Betrayal is running deep and the stakes are astronomical. Follow the money (incentives, whether greed or extortion) to access to ammo and/or pay the assassin. Then the motives should become very clear. Perhaps Bouncer can audit the man’s remaining assets more closely? Hahaha 🤣 He may still have some balls tucked away.

Is it torture if the criminal is guarded by a hungry, protective, cerops in the same cell? Hey bud, freedom when you talk…the cerops doesn’t go long without eating when already hungry so…. hmmm 🤔.

Oh my, the ole fairs. Blue collar mini-vacations brought to you neighbor. I’m imagining the smiles on this sated potbellied kids with their sticky fingers and sugar crusted corners of their mouths and lips. Omg , good memories, as that sugar boost is good for another run at those rides and games! 😂 The parents enjoyed their time once the kids past out from their exhausting day.

A great chapter, with hopes once again that a steadied reasoning will prevail. Kanji-San doesn’t have the history and understanding that the others do with Alec’s skittish and erratic emotions…but perhaps that should be more of the past and Alec needs to graduate to his more mature understanding of himself. The unvarnished and the unbiased words Kenji-San speaks are not beyond Alec’s present day mental state and is more encouraging to embrace with confidence what his heart tells him….damn the possible failures, think of the possible joy to be had. Alec sees the wisdom of Kenji-San’s counsel along with the boost of encouragement from River. Hopefully, his own desire to follow his heart will bring witness that Alec can finally allow himself that vulnerable position of having love, trust, and value to himself and others. Whether Alec buys into this relationship and a return move is more physical or emotional, it is definitely tangible to Alec. If Alec needs more physical or financial bonds to anchor himself then that is no shame. Conversely, if he can anchor himself based on his owned desires then he has truly turned the corner in his own mind. My, my @Demiurge, you once again bring what would normally be internalized raw emotions to the surface for all to see; great chapter.

It seems more and more that Dante and Tani are pawns in a greater rift; a rift that is possibly more veiled than all the parties contributing to its purpose. Even Anit and Sunu and then all of House Arturo are pawns too it seems. The Immortal Septum was and is a major factor in the separation of Fox Clan Anit and Immortal Clan Sunu. The timing of before or after Tani’s birth may be irrelevant, other than knowing any offspring to this powerful matchup would be formidable…and contraire to others seeking power of the Septum Throne and rule of the Seven; Water, Air, Fire, Earth, Calamity, the Fertility Goddess, and Sunu. Is it greed from within their Citadel or is it a power-play to destroy the rule/realm of the Immortals externally. The Fox Clan could be most powerful if not countered by the Immortals, but is that the objective of DarkForces operating in the shadows? @lilansui, you’ve either created a masterpiece of mystery and betrayal, or you’ve set my mind off on a trip to visit Alice in Wonderland…what was that medicine I took? 😆 Please keep these wonderful tale alive and thank you for the adventures.

Just think the comedic vantage point that Bouncer sniffs some bad guy’s balls and immediately runs…that’s some bad ball stink to make the poor thing run off from his bonded family! Hahaha 🤪

You, my friend, have hit the nail on Alec’s head. Finn wants Alec’s buy-in…literally. It shows Finn commitment to Alec but anchors Alec with security that he is a valued and a trusted partner. The compromise allows Finn to share his business, his family, his love… Will Finn ask Alec to give up or share his business…who really cares, he will by staying in Finn’s life; it’s Alec that needs security with a true sense of being someone valued, but it has to be a buy-in, not a gift!

Bouncer, the alien bloodhound, is employing now for what advanced tech can not; no interrogator needed, no video evidence required, …your confession should be forthcoming…in screams and pleas to survive. It’s always funny how those who so callously take lives are quick to think their life is so precious. You go Bouncer!

Hahaha…the ole “looking a gift horse in the mouth.” So true but I sense a big But yet to reveal in this conversation. I don’t totally disagree that Finn needs to push Alec a little to “test” his resolution; after all, Finn came out just to see Alec withdraw, and Finn wasn’t enough to keep Alec from running then either. Finn knows what he wants, unfortunately he’s not convinced the relationship is something obtainable…whether there or elsewhere, as Alec is running from himself as much or more than anything else.

It’s great that they are talking, yes…but Stupid is as Stupid does… What is this obsession that Finn has to give up things to show that he can compromise? Compromise without compassion or logic is just controlling and masking insecurities. Finn has a business; one that is very much a physical presence, one he built up while supporting Milo and then going to school…is every bit sentimental and a personally vestment by Finn; it is more than mere appraisal value. Alec’s business is of no or limited physical presence and Alec says he can work from anywhere. Logic meter points to Finn staying put. Finn has significant ties to home, birthplace with long family history, close extended family, and a brotherly bond that still begs of his help when Milo is having physical challenges. It is very much a part of Finn, and removing that from Finn will be forcing change that will make Finn someone else, someone other than what you fell in love with. Alec doesn’t have a close family tie but his dad wants to become a part of his life. More importantly, Alec desperately needs family and Finn’s family has always liked and supported Alec. Alec needs more than River or Finn can give Alec of themselves; he needs the social circle a supportive family bond will provide. Logic meter points to Finn staying put. River is ready to spread his social wings to foreign lands; while Kenji-San is somewhat supportive, he is still in the pursuit and win-over phase of relationship with River. Either way, if Ken remains in the equation, River will most likely be traveling much more. Alec himself says he is too dependent on River. River has been his . As the ole Three Dog Night song says “One is the loneliest number…” while Alec needs socialization. Even while Finn may be working, Finn’s family is there…and the dog that already loves Alec will be too. Logic meter points to Finn staying put. Both have houses, but neither house is required or sentimental as developed thus far in the storyline; so buy a new mutually agreeable and desired joint residence. Logic meter points neutral, so a mutually agreeable residence, but the underlying issues still says that is with Finn staying put, locally. Alec has no extended circle of friends he would miss or be leaving. While Finn’s circle closed in a little, he still has friends and community support. Logic meter points to Finn stays put. The compromising is not applied to each item and event in life, if that were the case it would mean a connecting duplex house with a share common area, two identical cars, a family business were both do the same tasks, etc,…thanks not compromise…that is insecurity and jealousy at it’s worse. The compromises may mean residing where the bandwidth is best for Alec’s business if that is a factor, it may mean reserved quiet days or evenings for Alec, many compromises doesn’t mean shared misery, it’s consideration when extra is needed or while doing so shows appreciation to, and for, the other person. I don’t get the obsession that Finn has to compromise himself or the meaningful things of his life to share a misery factor; that’s a recipe that neither will like and dooms the relationship to failure before it even starts. Likewise, if Alec wants to stay in Washington, does he have to buy property that allows the livestock for Finn?Argh 😖 compromise is discussed as equality vs gives and takes where logic and compassion leads the ones involved.

See, your parents/coaches were very wise after all, practice makes perfect, but until you’re perfect, practice is paramount to achieve nirvana 😍. Likewise, until nirvana is your reality, other opportunities may exist just for simply helping others that need a coach in life so they can learn the game…of life. Not to be a downer, but… I mentored kids at a group home. Life didn’t allow for me to adopt at that time in my life but a much over looked problem in this country (US) and many others, is that orphans are shuffled into the shadows and the focus is not on the children. We have more focus on finding people to adopt dogs than we have on finding kids homes. Many contractors for departments of family/children services are making money based on occupancy vs placements. Unrealistic requirements are placed upon interested parents, hence, foreign adoptions are often much easier than the red tape and intrusive bureaucratic machine known as child protective services…, it’s every bit as bad as animal shelters in my mind. One intuitive look into the statistics of state children aging out out 18 will make you cry; no job, no car, no license, and many with few friends due to the captive environment. They are desperate to get away from this oppressive environment that benefits offered are too late in their young lives with absolutely no trust in the wonderful guardian system that has bilked dollars from their captivity. incarceration rates, criminal offenses, and homelessness is many times higher than the general public; it’s a good thing child protective services took the kids away from abusive homes…huh?? If they were held to the same standards to love, care, nurture a kid, then they would have all these kids taking away from them. Instead if a kid cuts up a little, some minimally paid workers picks up the phone and has the police take them away until the director collects them the next day… yup, it’s abusive to the kids psychologically and sometimes physically. Sorry, for the soapbox but if you find it in your heart to adopt and win the kids trust, you’ll be saving at least one life, if not more. So sorry, now I’m sad 😔, so I’ll just say…share your love ❤️.
