At least they didn’t have Alex with them, then Mom would be in their shadows.

Maybe…given the old Volvo holds some value, but in some jurisdictions maybe that value is shy of grand and it’s petty. Nut the biggest kicker is that it’s not stolen, it was borrowed by the grandkids…missing their dad. 🤦♂️ Unfortunately, now putting the spotlight back on the sleepy, appearing, hometown. Side note: I wonder how Steve has managed to profit and how many more properties they now control? 😂 Steve’s Buffalo Wild Wings.

Indeed, not safe to pass, yet people will continue…much like the flood water markers and alerts ignored. 🤦♂️
-
And too many haywagoneers unwilling to face the truth of their own foolishness in merrily piling on, letting it all happen without proper challenge.
-
We can only hope, these days some would kill their dads just to win video games. So these two are conservative by modern generational standards. 🤦♂️

On so true. Concrete and iron beams just don’t like high temps. No engineering degree needed, just remember the toppling twin towers that withstood the jet airliner’s impact but couldn’t withstand the temperatures from the ensuing flames that followed. Yes, the young lads are following their hearts, unfortunately, the political climate is not for the heart nor young foolish escapades; but, neither is dumb, so perhaps they may surprise us.

Two young boys, bonded by love, family, and the resistance. May the Volvo protect them…but in colors of yellow I doubt they go unnoticed by friends…nor enemies.

Coop needs a plan, a ruse that won’t get more killed but that will bait Corcoran into confused tunnel vision while their cordon encompasses his sorry ass; while Coop needs full body armor…nothing much, just a flexible bodysuit of composite materials that will resist low velocity arms such as knives and arrows.

Corcoran flaunts his prowess in stalking and possibly murder yet again.. The hearsay of the murder last night being an argument or disagreement sounds just about what I would expect from Corcoran being spotted in process of his quick exit. Ironically, Coop may have hit the nail on the head when thinking Corcoran could be hiding in any of those many spots…then subsequently even reporting the incident himself to obfuscate his own presence. I’m not sure I would have been reporting to the inspector that the murderer was not one committed by Corcoran; at least not until reviewing those tapes or disc themselves.

Ironically, I think this little venture alway from the garage floor grimy flings, was a bit of a reality check…a bit of self reflection brought on by a kick start catalyst from their nemesis lover. I actually believe this to be a healthy step forward for both of them. Garrett found natural compassion without his self loathing pity, Finn found himself challenged to get past his portrait and self imposed life as a street rat. They’re ready to start looking at where they are vs where they were, …so here we are, now where do we go, or want to go.

No, no, no…that would risk it all in my opinion. I can understand that desire to connect but I have to believe Will is still being watched like a hawk. The opportunity to assassinate Andrew and then remove the Governor as enemies of the state would be catastrophic for their movement. I’m thinking a more subtle Uk visit where accompanying a delegation seeking improved relations in the aftermath; so something right under their noses but wrapped securely within a larger ruse. But then again, I would probably suck at trying to create such a ruse setup. 🤷♂️

Nothing wrong with that as an Andrew tag…just not on a Mustang.

FT Chapter - Lonely Christmas

That’s like us in Florida, alligators protected. That easy to say unless you’re the one living in the concentrated areas where you’re up to your ass in alligators. The good news down there…over a million acres to dispose of a few pesky frogs. Hmmm 🤔, what would make their food source toxic? The invasive tree frogs in Florida shorted out my electrical panel as they got in it when small and ate until they out grew the space and….kinda exploded when they grounded out. What a mess to get my power back on; can’t wash it and wow, the smell. -

Kinda reminds me of the deserts off Saudi Arabia. -

That’s some major freedom…but much risk and responsibility to oneself and neighbors in such rural and isolated territory and way of life. This is exactly the type of description of your country and your way of life that you have shared with us through the years. Thanks again for your wonderful tales from down under. -

Hmmm, Rhode Island; neither a state nor an island, with <1/3 the population of the rural state of Mississippi, <1/4 that of Alabama. Only one real city or metropolitan area, no functional county governments other than police and court districts. It kinda makes Providence a city state…like the Vatican City, but 600% larger than the Holy City. -

No doubt plenty of time for reflection. -
Let your fingers do the walking! 😊

Ahhhh, but his lost sight doesn’t mean lost cause. Rick now has confirmation that Corcoran is indeed still in town and apparently stalking him as close as ever. Now, how to find him in that crowded venue without putting anyone at risk; coop can’t risk leaving Adam’s side, but the younger table mate may be a secondary target now too. I doubt the police would want to form a cordon around this gay venue trying to catch someone already slipping from sight. 😠

Even a gargoyle has an ass, just harder to tell heads from tails.

I thought this was possibly going in a different direction. We had 4 muskogee ducks that were fully mature but had been raised from hatchlings and were very domesticated…pets. I had stepped around to the back yard to pick up for mowing. My personal duck was a drake I had named Dominic. Well, Dominic was being uncharacteristically defensive and aggressive about his position, which was where I needed to get the water hose rolled and stowed. When I had paused my approach Dominic had stop honking and lowered his wings. But as soon as I started moving towards that area once again, Dominic got even more aggressive, honking louder, wings spread to their impressive full extension and with warnings flaps towards me. Hmmm 🧐, I asked him what was wrong with him, what has you upset, boy? He somewhat turned to look behind him, but kept his guarded position. The other ducks were staying to my right, Dominic’s left, but also honking with wings drooped like a momma bird drawing you from her chicks. Looking back to Dominic and the area he kept cross-checking behind him, I finally came to understand. There was a sizable water moccasin over near the water hose at the back of the house. 😯 Ahhh, thank you Dominic. As soon as I let them know I see him now, I turned to grab a shovel, returning to find Dominic now leading his little flock off with all excitement removed. Well, snake 1 became snakes 1 & 2; were then re-homed to hole yet to come. So Dominic lead me too, or guarded me from a hazard. He was the same protecting the territory from stray animals/dogs, but always friendly to family.

My brothers had 18 and 36 months age advantage on me so it was no wonder that the trusty dog, Bandit, stayed with me…strategically of course. I worked closer to home so it’s was safer for Bandit to be by my side then farther away with them. Me being 10yo often up very early, and when it was very dark, Bandit was my lookout and protector. My runs from home were limited to about 2 miles, where the brothers went 3 and 4 respectively. Bandit didn’t allow other dogs or people within my close circle unless I told him it was ok. While not exceeding 2 miles from the house, the route had me ping-ponging on my bicycle for about 7-1/2 miles total; about 3 hours of darkness that was much easier to brave with Bandit always trotting at my side. Even when collecting account monies, he stood my guard out next to my bike. He did this with me until I started driving, even then, he would sometimes still ride along with me, then wait by the front of my car for my return. Should I go inside, he would then move up to the door until I came back outside; I think listening Unfortunately, his mileage and his high paced life caught up with him by the time I turned 18. After hunting, catching, killing, and burying many varmints with Bandit, that was the toughest hole to dig. My older neighbor man helped me lower him into the hole as he knew this one required the care and respect of special handling. We grew up together, expanding the area and hours for which we ventured as we grew…Bandit, trotting by my side.
