  1. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ADDY!!!! I hope you have an awesome day!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🎉🎊🎆🎈🎁🛍🎂🍮🍰🧁🍻🍾🐶🐶🐱🐱
  2. Hey, so I haven’t logged onto GA in forever, but I had to log on tonight to tell you how great this story is, Geoff. 😄 I’ve been following the story from the beginning, & I can see how Eddie & Matty have matured even in that short time. They are so good for each other. Eddie’s advice to Nate was perfect. I also agree w/the other readers who thought George took the coward’s way out. He was more concerned about being with his dead wife than watching his only child grow up & being there for him. I did have a question, though, Geoff. I don’t remember if this story takes place outside the US or not, but it was my understanding that if someone commits suicide, their family can’t collect the life insurance. Anyway, I’m looking forward to the next chapter. 😄
  3. Thank you for the picture, Jamie. Lacey was very photogenic and looked good in every picture he posted on here. He will always be in your heart, Jamie, and he will never be forgotten. I’m going to ditto Thorn; if you ever want to talk, cry, whatever, PM me.
  4. I had to wait until my tears stopped falling on my keyboard. Thorn, your tribute to Lacey is absolutely beautiful. I wish I had known him better. I occasionally commented on his blogs, and he would comment back, but that’s as far as it went. You had such a good relationship with him, and I know exactly what you mean by falling in love but not a romantic love. That’s so easy to do on here because you become so close to some people. Sorry. I hit ‘Quote’ by accident, and I don’t know how to delete it. Thank you, Thorn, for writing such a heartfelt and beautiful tribute.

    Chapter Thirty-One

I’ve actually been MIA for nine months!!!! My hours at work increased, and by the time I get home I’m so tired I can hardly keep my eyes open. We all work ten-hour days where I am. I came on here yesterday because I had heard really sad news, so I wanted to comment on that particular thread. Thank you so much for your kind words, Ethan! I’m very rusty in that area now since I haven’t had time to do any editing for anyone. I’m so glad you joined GA; it’s a terrific site with awesome members and staff, as I’m sure you know by now.

    Epilogue

Back in the day, I used to LOVE Aaron Carter, and I used to listen to his CD all the time!!!! So naturally he would be the first person I thought of when I saw the two names of the MCs. And I swear, Laura, I would have NEVER guessed you weren’t born in the states from your writing! There are many, many, many native English speakers who don’t have as good a command of the English language as you do. I think the only thing I would point out was when you put ‘probably’ in front of the noun instead of after it. “Probably he thought...” instead of “He probably thought...”. See what I mean? Other than that — 👍👍.

This is a beautiful poem, Mr. M. Thank you for sharing the link on Lacey’s post. I would not have read it otherwise. 😢

    Chapter Thirty-One

Ethan!!!!! So glad to see you on here!!!! How are you? It’s great that you’re posting N & J on here; you’re getting a lot of positive feedback!
  9. Jason, I’ve been following this story from the beginning, and you are a very talented author. You totally roped me in to the type of story I really hate. Well, the subject matter I hate. I would imagine every time The Fiend is in the chapter, it would be a hard chapter to write. I couldn’t imagine writing someone that evil and predatory. I’m looking forward to the next chapter (which I just noticed is now up!).
  10. I’m very anxious to read the next chapter of this, Stannie. This past chapter, especially the title, was very omnious and foreboding. Please update when you have time.
  11. Stannie!!!! I loved this chapter, but you haven’t updated in forever!! Same for Missing. I’ve been following the stories even though I haven’t been on here in quite a long time. I can’t wait for the next chapter. I do love Josh, but I really want Adam/Michael to get back to Seth.

    Epilogue

There were so many parts of this story that just had me laughing till I peed my pants. 😋 From the first moment when Carter opened up his eyes in the hospital room, I was hooked. And I loved the Aaron Carter thingy going on, even though they were two different people, and Aaron was missing an ‘a’. Lol That’s the first person I thought of when I saw Aron and then Carter in the same line. Haha Anyway, this was a wonderfully entertaining story, Laura, and I would have NEVER guessed you weren’t a native English speaker! You write soooooo well!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful story with us.

    Chapter 23

I’ve been MIA for quite awhile, but that doesn’t mean I wasn’t reading your terrific stories! I finished this one many months ago, but I wanted to comment and let you know how enjoyable this story was. I looked forward to every new chapter, and you never disappointed. You’re a master storyteller, Laura, who had me captivated from the first words of the tale. That goes for Box Shaped Heart also, which I’m going to comment on now.
  14. This was a wonderful sequel, Jeff, and it had me crying, laughing, crying again...I am so glad Dustin found Nate and together they can both heal and become whole again. You are such a talented author, Jeff! I can’t wait to read your next story!
  15. I’ve been MIA for so long, I almost forgot how to log in! Lol But just because I wasn’t on here didn’t mean I wasn’t reading. I finished this hella awesome story a long time ago, Jeff, but I wanted to comment. I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed the series and enjoyed reading how much B & B grew up and matured. I absolutely loved the ending, as I always wanted B & B to have their HEA. I finished Dustin’s story, too, so I’ll go comment on that one now. Thank you, Jeff, for writing such a wonderful, heartbreaking, and heartwarming story! (Did that make sense? Lol)

    RIP Lacey

Jamie, I am heartbroken to hear about Lacey. He was such a sweet and caring guy who was a valuable member of GA. He will be missed greatly. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your/his family at this time.

    Chapter 8

So, I was thinking...when Erik produced his word vomit in the car ride back to Toronto, was he subconsciously looking for a fight? When I was in college, it seemed that at the end of every school break I had, I would pick a fight with my mom, whom I was extremely close to. I think I did it subconsciously because it made leaving her and my sister easier. It makes it easier to walk away when you’re angry with someone. Also, I totally took Erik’s words differently. I took a lot of those words as sort of insults to Ryan. Not about Ryan not making it in the city and moving back home, but how Erik is sad he has to leave because he doesn’t want to go back to the city. He told Ryan he’s tired of the city, and he’s tired of knocking on doors and being rejected. Ok, that’s not the reason. He’s sad because he’s leaving Ryan. He’d be thrilled about going back to NY if Ryan was going with him. I took that as an insult to Ryan. Erik should have just been honest with him instead of saying stupid shit about living in the city. As many of your readers have mentioned, Toronto has a very big film industry. Hello...QAF, anyone? Erik can go anywhere and do what he wants to do. That’s just an excuse. Erik’s mantra should NOT be Frank Sinatra’s song. And since I’m on the topic of Erik and insults, when he finally confessed to Ryan how much he loves him, he stuck those words in between what’s not right in his world and his work and shit. That is certainly not why you love someone! That was another insult to Ryan, IMO. Instead of explaining to Ryan why he loves him, he’s saying he loves Ryan only because nothing else in his life is going right. At least that’s the way I interpreted it. Anyway, this was another great chapter, HB! On to the next one...maybe sometime this millennium I’ll actually catch up!

    Chapter 7

It sounds like a wonderful getaway, but the outhouse?? In the freezing cold??? With no heat?? That would never do!

    Chapter 1

I haven’t re-read the chapter yet, but I’m so happy you’re posting this story, Ron! I meant to read the previous story you completed here, but I haven’t been on here much. I know I read it on TMJ, so at least I read it once.
  20. This was another great chapter, Cole! Winnie was once a decent mother???? That was a shocker! It was nice to see Twyla remembering something nice about her for a change. Hmmm, why are Nat and Eddie acting so weird? And aren’t the guilty ones the ones who keep on denying something? I loved the scene with Ben, Clay, and Rush. They are becoming a nice, tight-knit family.

    The Last Screw

WTF? Hartley is such a slime ball!!! What an asshole! He’s worse than the principal was with all his sneering at B & B. He’s even worse than Jen!!! I can’t believe her — telling Paula to just take Brett, she’s done with his shit. Jesus. I do have to commend Paula, though. In my eyes, she’s pretty much redeemed herself. This was a great chapter, Jeff. I’m looking forward to the next two. This doesn’t mean the story’s over, does it?

    The Dance

I haven’t been on here in a while, but I just had to log in, Jeff, to tell you how much I’m loving this story. I’ve been crying since Brett took off leaving Billy stranded in Erie. Brett has made a great argument regarding how Billy always makes him feel. I think Brett has really matured since the truth finally came out. Hopefully Billy will stop with the ‘Why does my life always suck’ mantra and actually think of others before thinking of himself. I was so proud of him when he started dancing with Brett. And honestly, the principal, John Taylor, and Jack (whom I actually thought was trying to redeem himself) are such d-bags! I want Jen and Paula (Dave would be great too) to go in there on Monday and threaten to sue. Better yet, the stupid principal is always worried about the school’s rep, Jen and Paula should bring the media with them! And then sue! I’ll tell you, Jeff, when I’m not at work, I’ve been glued to this story. Ok, back to the old grind. I’ll come back on again once I finish the next chapter. Oh, I almost forgot: Green Day’s Billie Joe spells it Billie Joe, not Billy Joe. Just an FYI.
  23. Comsie, Idk who you’re talking about, but whomever it is is obviously an idiot. I absolutely ADORE your stories (well, except for the GFD series, sorry, not my cuppa tea), and as Mr. M said, focus on those who love you and admire you, not the idiots who dare to criticize you. Even though it takes me forever to catch up on your stories, I always finish a chapter and wait with bated breath for the next one.

    Rest In Peace Moggy

@Dmrman: What you wrote was really beautiful. I only interacted with Moggy a few times, but she was very nice and sweet each time. I didn’t know she was sick. And she just had a birthday. RIP, Moggy. Based on what everyone has said about you, I wish I had gotten to know you better. You will be missed.

    Chapter 6

This story keeps getting better and better, HB! I just finished chapter six, and I’m so glad I have a long way to go to catch up! Ryan can relate better to an insecure, vulnerable Erik rather than a cocky and know-it-all Erik. I love the ending of this chapter.
