WTF? Hartley is such a slime ball!!! What an asshole! He’s worse than the principal was with all his sneering at B & B. He’s even worse than Jen!!! I can’t believe her — telling Paula to just take Brett, she’s done with his shit. Jesus. I do have to commend Paula, though. In my eyes, she’s pretty much redeemed herself. This was a great chapter, Jeff. I’m looking forward to the next two. This doesn’t mean the story’s over, does it?

I haven’t been on here in a while, but I just had to log in, Jeff, to tell you how much I’m loving this story. I’ve been crying since Brett took off leaving Billy stranded in Erie. Brett has made a great argument regarding how Billy always makes him feel. I think Brett has really matured since the truth finally came out. Hopefully Billy will stop with the ‘Why does my life always suck’ mantra and actually think of others before thinking of himself. I was so proud of him when he started dancing with Brett. And honestly, the principal, John Taylor, and Jack (whom I actually thought was trying to redeem himself) are such d-bags! I want Jen and Paula (Dave would be great too) to go in there on Monday and threaten to sue. Better yet, the stupid principal is always worried about the school’s rep, Jen and Paula should bring the media with them! And then sue! I’ll tell you, Jeff, when I’m not at work, I’ve been glued to this story. Ok, back to the old grind. I’ll come back on again once I finish the next chapter. Oh, I almost forgot: Green Day’s Billie Joe spells it Billie Joe, not Billy Joe. Just an FYI.

Comsie, Idk who you’re talking about, but whomever it is is obviously an idiot. I absolutely ADORE your stories (well, except for the GFD series, sorry, not my cuppa tea), and as Mr. M said, focus on those who love you and admire you, not the idiots who dare to criticize you. Even though it takes me forever to catch up on your stories, I always finish a chapter and wait with bated breath for the next one.

@Dmrman: What you wrote was really beautiful. I only interacted with Moggy a few times, but she was very nice and sweet each time. I didn’t know she was sick. And she just had a birthday. RIP, Moggy. Based on what everyone has said about you, I wish I had gotten to know you better. You will be missed.

This story keeps getting better and better, HB! I just finished chapter six, and I’m so glad I have a long way to go to catch up! Ryan can relate better to an insecure, vulnerable Erik rather than a cocky and know-it-all Erik. I love the ending of this chapter.

I’ve been catching up on my phone with this hella awesome story whenever I have a minute to read. I haven’t been on here since February, but I wanted to tell you how much I’m enjoying the story, Laura. I have one more chapter to go, and then I’ll be all caught up, so hopefully they’ll be a chapter 18 soon!

A Whore, a Liar, Vindictive, and Petty
Lisa commented on Jwolf's story chapter in A Whore, a Liar, Vindictive, and Petty
Tony, good news! JON WILL BE BACK!!!! He PM’d me the other day and said the story is complete, and he hopes to be back soon to post it. Never give up hope! -
What’s rare, DQ, is that I actually came on the site to review it in a timely manner! Lol I usually only have time nowadays to read a little in bed on my phone, but it could be days or weeks before I can come on and actually leave a review!

‘He had his first suspect, in a case without a murder.’ I love this line! I agree with @Puppilull; the emotional talk Ben and Clay had had me all choked up, too. I’m so glad they’re getting along and that Ben loves Clay as much as Rush does. So yeah, piggybacking on everyone else’s confusion, I’m lost. What other guy????? Is the other guy the dead body? And so Winnie and Twyla know about this other guy? And did Jake have braces taken off recently? Why the retainer? It just seemed odd and sort of random reading about a retainer container they found in the bathroom. Is the nylon string dental floss? And a plastic splint? For what? A finger? And why was it on the floor with a wire spring? What’s a wire spring anyway? Lol Like the wire springs that are in pens? That kind of spring? I really need to read those blogs again! I hope you’re having a wonderful and relaxing anniversary vaca, Cole! ❤️❤️

Yikes! That poor guy! And the poor kids and mom who found him! So who is this guy? It’s not Eddie, is it??????? And Eddie is the one who was supposed to show up at Jake’s, right? Ugh, never mind. I just read one of your responses. The new body isn’t Eddie’s. So whose is it? When I have time (hopefully while you and Ran are on your anniversary vacation (congrats btw, Cole!!! ), I’ll have to reread all the blogs and write down what I think are clues. This is a fantastic story. I think I’ve mentioned that in another review. I really love murder mysteries!

I’ve been catching up on my phone because I was having major computer problems. Yeah, that little scene with Ko could have gotten pretty awkward. Like all your other commenters said, I’m glad they stopped in time before they could screw things up between them. No pun intended.

Adam’s birth giver and her sperm donor should be ashamed of themselves. They both need to rot behind bars. To beat his own flesh and blood to that extent where the poor kid couldn’t even sit down is despicable. And Adam’s birth giver just lets it happen. Is she afraid of her bastard of a husband? She deserves quite a few whacks on her ass also. 😡 I’m so glad Troy’s parents are going to be there for Adam. He needs a good, stable home, one where he won’t be afraid he’s going to be whipped every night.
-
I love the story so far! It seems like Mike Daubney is going to be trouble for Adam and Troy.

I’ve been reading this on my phone, but this is the first chance I had to comment. I think Erik feels comfortable with Ryan’s family. I loved how Ryan wanted to keep him all to himself over the weekend. Erik really had a chance to think about what’s important. It’s obvious he misses his nieces and nephews, but in NY he’s all alone. He could be a big part of Ryan’s family. He fits in pretty well with them.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY, KRISTA!!! I hope you had a great day! I don’t know how I missed this; I was on here at the beginning of January.

Poor Jackson. He has the best night of his young life, and then the worst morning after. Hopefully with this lab, they'll be forced to talk civilly to one another.

Dustin has really taken a beating --- emotionally and physically. It'll take a lot more for Dustin to heal emotionally. I enjoyed his talk with Billy. They both sounded mature, and it was nice to read a conversation that didn't end in yelling and screaming. I also enjoyed the talk Billy had with his mother. I really liked when Billy through parts of the Bible at her! What kind of mother would I be if I kicked you out? Well, she was going to withhold his MEDS for God's sakes! What kind of mother does that????? Hmmm, Paula????? You'd rather have a dead son than a gay son? Also, she is being way too unreasonable about Brett. After all, she and George treated Brett like another son. How can she turn her back on him for something he has no control over? I'd be really upset too, if I were Brett. I'm looking forward to the reactions to the chopping block.

What a perfect ending, Ron! I'm so glad that Gene came back, and now he's finally with the one (s) he loves. As @chris191070 said, the boys definitely came full circle with that kiss. Especially since it was Joey who initiated it. I really enjoyed this sequel, Ron! I'm looking forward to the next story!

Glad to see your phone is still up and running, Emi! I don't know about your area, but here there are mobile repair places, which I'm sure is a hella lot cheaper than buying a new phone/plan.

@Myr, I absolutely LOVED Baby Driver!! I saw it on Netflix over the holidays, and it was terrific! I, too, love action movies, and this definitely had lots of action. And Baby certainly was great eye candy to boot! I never watch movies more than once, but this is a movie I can see a million times and never get tired of it. Plus, Jamie Foxx and Jon Hamm were great in it too! I read an article a month or so ago, and Ansel Elgort said he was actually very surprised to learn of all the misconduct Kevin Spacey had been doing for all these years. Of course I had immediately thought Ansel would have been a prime candidate for Spacey to abuse.

@Northern Dutch Guy, truthfully, I only read Sandy because the main character is a dog, and I'm a HUGE, HUGE dog lover! And Sandy was adorable, wasn't he? I never had a dog growing up, and I always wanted one, so I was sort of living vicariously through Timmy. And yes, dogs sniff girls also! The very first story I read on here was Desert Dropping, and I immediately had to devour the rest of DomLuka's stories. Even the unfinished ones. So I definitely agree with @spikey582's review. I love @K.C.'s stories, so I don't know how I missed Mistletoe and Handgrenades, but I'll have to check that one out, along with @Dabeagle's and @Luc's stories.

What a great chapter, Ron. (What happened to the original smiley face? I couldn't find it.) Joey's dream with Allen got me choked up. Gene is finally figuring out what real love is. And Nicky is also growing on him, which is wonderful. He never wanted kids with Tina because that relationship was all wrong, but now because of Nicky, he's realizing he could be a really good dad. I'm also thrilled Joey's on the road to recovery.
-
I think Joey has an idea of who Brett's father is also. And when did Brett and Joey become such good friends? It'll come in handy when the shit finally hits the fan. And why can Paula trust Joey with driving Billy to school? Paula knows Billy can't stand Joey. Ah...she did it on purpose. Bitch. I really liked the talk Bobby Rush had with Billy. Billy was so worried for nothing. Everyone knew he was gay anyway. They all knew he and Brett were together. This was another awesome chapter, Mr. Squirrel. I'm anxiously awaiting the next one. Hopefully it'll be Billy's hair on the chopping block!

I agree with everyone's comments. Paula is a manipulative, conniving bitch, and to blackmail her own son by withholding his meds is despicable. @glennish was absolutely right about Billy's line. I really think she loves Father Fuckface more than anyone. I can't even say she loves Billy. That's not love, it's manipulation. I was so proud of Billy for sticking up for himself and not giving in to her demands. I was even prouder of him for standing up for himself to FF (Father Fuckface). HE'S talking about Billy hating????? Omg, has he ever looked in a mirror? HE'S the one who hates anyone different than himself. He kicked his own son out of his life for something the kid has no control over. His congregation consists of a bunch of haters who follow with bated breath all the shit he spews. I also believe vanilla douche is going to come through for Billy. I think he's going to be horrified when he finds out his new wife blackmailed Billy. She's turned into a monster just like FF.

Thank God Gene finally came clean with Tina. I do feel badly for her because she spent so many years loving him and wanting a family with him, while dealing with his alcoholism. Now she can move on, and hopefully he can too.
