LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT. Oh, did I mention that I love it? What a great new story, Andrew! I was kind of surprised by Brice sort of leading Cody on. After all, Cody doesn't know about Brice's brand-new more-than-friends relationship. I think there could definitely be the possibility for Justin and Cody to get really hurt by Brice. At any rate...loved the 'wicked' sentence! I went to school in Boston and even years after graduating I still talked with a wicked accent and packed my ca in the ga age. Don't know how to write that last one. Also...I am the proud owner of the sweetest, most adorabel pit bull you will ever see. I believe it all has to do with their owner's disposition and how the dog is treated. Anyway, can't wait for the next chapter!

This is such a great story! Out of 140 views, I'm surprised no one else reviewed it. It sure brought me back to my days of sitting on those small Cal Ripkin bleachers and cheering for my kids' teams. Andy's father is such an ass. His mom should try to have an intervention or something. He needs rehab and therapy. I was confused at one point: a little after the beginning of the story Andy is thinking that even as a sophomore he could still be a leader. Then when he's raking where the bases were, he looks up to the scoreboard and thinks 'Senior' and how he doesn't want the season to end. But I thought he was a sophomore? This story is so well-written that I almost missed one little typo: when Andy was thinking of the World Series when the won the game, you wrote: you would think we one the World Series (or something to that effect), but 'one' should be 'won'. Anyway....I can't wait for chapter two!

I am actually amazed at those kids. I didn't realize youth orchestra kids were as wild as regular, every day high school kids. lol But seriously, that night was, I don't know. Micah's lucky a month or two later his mom didn't get a call from a distraught parent claiming Micah got their daughter pregnant. I mean, he didn't know what the heck was going on that night. But now he realizes how much he missed by being on the road all the time. I'm surprised Betty isn't getting tired of it all. I know she's living vicariously through Micah, but wouldn't that just tire anyone out? It's also amazing that his siblings don't resent him for all his fame and how much time he takes their mother away from them. Another great chapter rec!

Grrr, you keep calling Elizabeth Katherine! lol David was very brave to approach his parents. And his parents, in turn, were wonderful. Back in 1989 there was such a stigma about being gay (like there's none today, lol. That was sarcasm, btw) His parents accepted wholeheartedly and I find that amazing, especially for the times. I liked Dr. Kemp. Loved his question, why do you want to be normal? Ok, had to get my Micah-David dose in for the day!

Terrific story Renee! I'm so glad Keith and Braedon, (awesome name btw, but I probably screwed up the spelling. Sorry) finally got together.

I was laughing hysterically when I read about the Mormon guys on the bus. Yes, those "evangelists" are annoying, aren't they? lol I did think Dan was thinking maturely when he realized that David and Jenna being together was HIS problem and not THEIR problem. I'm glad he doesn't want to break them up.

I don't think Micah has had an attitude before. I think he was just upset by what happened between him and David. I think he needed to lash out at someone and unfortunately, Yuki was there. I don't know why David walked out after he explained himself to Micah. They really needed to hash this out.

Omg, Maxie and "Itchie"; "Don't cry Itchie. I here." He is just too precious. And Andrew, can you hook me up at the ranch? CJ and Danny are so generous it's unbelievable. Room, credit cards, wow I wanna work for them. lol I really hope Ace and the boys can help Devon. But now with Dyland and Jesse together, who will catch Devon's eye? Omg, he better not try to come in between one of the existing couples!!!

Wow, this chapter really makes you feel sorry for Jean. I can't imagine what he went through at such a young age. It's cool that Olivia "let" Jean have his fun with her boyfriend. What a pal! lol And that whole array of sex toys - wow, that was amazing! And he puts his stuffed animals in sexual positions - kind of weird. lol But there's a lot going on inside of Jean. It's too bad he's so screwed up from whatever happened to him as a young boy. Another great chapter James!

I feel sorry for Micah too. Yes, it's great to be a child prodigy and the world is at your feet...but Micah missed his childhood from age nine until fourteen and it's not stopping anytime soon. Greg hit the nail on the head; he's missing human companionship. And Greg doesn't even know his brother anymore. I look forward to reading more about Micah.

Oh, I forgot to mention: I thought that David's mom was Elizabeth Stirlling, not Katherine. When Micah first came over there, didn't she tell him to call her Elizabeth?

I knew it; once Micah's time with the Youth Symphony Orchestra was over, Betty would be back to controlling his life. Another great chapter rec, even though it was short. lol

It made me so sad to see Zach so upset throughout this chapter. That Willow certainly gave her son a lot of issues. Zach is so insecure and he is just craving love and attention and he thinks just b/c he does something wrong, Noah and Scott won't love him anymore. It makes me wonder what the hell Willow did to him. I think what Noah did with the fingerpainting on the walls was a brilliant idea. Not only did Zach have a say in his room, but he was able to help in one of the biggest ways possible. They could even start a tradition where every year or so Zach will add fingerprints to sort of show how he's growing. Kind of like a growth chart, but in fingerprints. I think Noah is such a stand-up guy. Scott should be so pleased that Noah wants to contribute to the household and he doesn't want to be seen as a mooch who is only using Scott for his money. I have a mooch and let me tell you, I wish he was like Noah, who actually felt BAD about taking from me. Scott always comes up with great plans and this school loan is no different. Especially since Tom is now helping Noah figure out where to invest his money. That's a great idea. I really want to know what's going on with Sarah. Why is she picking fights with Tom?

What a totally sweet chapter! So Elliot did give himself away at the end. lol And Rick was actually being NICE for a change! And not looking for some sleazy hook-up in the boys' bathroom. lol Can't wait to find out what happens when Elliot goes over Chance's. Great chapter Yanks!

I agree with Terry; I can already see where Micah thinks he's better than all the other violinists. And of course he is, but he has to learn how to be a little bit more humble. And yes, the story is repeated halway through the chapter. As always, l'm looking forward to the next chapter.

It's so sad to think of young kids going through these problems that David is encountering. He is lucky in one regard; he feels he could go to his parents, which is a big thing for young kids. And this was 1988, so a couple of years before the big internet boom, from what I remember, so there's no help there for David. Another great chapter rec!

Micah certainly shows great maturity in handling his new instrument. I can't wait to see how many awards he wins playing this violin.

Gunni is certainly lucky he can talk to him mom about anything. That is not the case with a lot of kids. Unfortunately. And of course, Jo is a blessing! I so love him! He gives good advice and it's nice that he can be honest with Gunni and tell him about his past.

Ahhh, Finn!!!! You are so funny! You really do crack me up! And that's a good thing b/c I'm sick as a f'n dog here and you really cheered me up! =) So....Luka. What a horrible home life he has. Thank God for his mom sticking up for him and trying to protect him from his psycho father. Can't wait to learn more about that! And about the cool 'drives itself' car. lol Wish I had one of those! I'm praying that it was not Luka's mom that got shot. It's a good thing that he's made some friends; he might need them for comfort in the future. Terrific chapter Finn!

The last two paragraphs of this chapter were so sad. Greg is truly remakable. Instead of being jealous of Micah and resentful towards him b/c he's taking so much of their mother's time away from Greg and the other kids, he just misses his brother and wishes they could be more like brothers and do things together. I thought Micah was pretty funny with all his questions. Robert handled them all pretty well. Another entertaining chapter rec!

I have a feeling Betty would only go for Marcia being Micah's teacher if she could be there. I don't think she would just let Micah take a plane or bus or whatever and stay with Robert and Sam or Jake and Robbie. Especially given the way Betty feels about her son and Sam. I would think she would want to stay with Micah somewhere in a hotel, not really trusting the men. But what a great opportunity for Micah!

Hmm, now I'm wondering why Betty never got a chance to pursue her piano. Did she get knocked up? With Robert? What happened to him? I'm just as curious as Micah now. Ok, on to chapter seven.

Even though Micha's life is scheduled beyond belief and he is now a child prodigy, it is a far cry from the other foster homes he's been to. I wish Momma M would be able to see what Micah is doing now. Betty is an exceptional 'foster mom'. Instead of pushing aside Micah's desire to learn the violin b/c of Poppa M, she encouraged him and helped him find an instructor.Yes, she's living vicariously through him, since this is something she was never able to do in her life, but he is benefitting from it, to some extent. She should let him be a boy though. Everyone needs downtime.And plus she doesn't want to alienate her other kids and make them jealous and resentful of Micah. She doesn't want them thinking that she's playing favorites. Ok, on to the next chapter.

Ah rec, you're updating way too fast for me! lol I can't keep up. I'm glad Micah is adjusting to life on the farm. Learning the piano is probably the best thing for him. Ok, on to chapter three.
