Jeez, as if Zune's day (night) couldn't get any worse. His father's been living there this whole time. I wonder if his mom knew his father was living in the same town when they moved there....just a thought. And Kevin, wth????? He was driving around looking for Zune? Really now? Well then, why didn't he find him? He must not have been looking very hard. I'm still pissed at him. He really needs to explain himself to Zune and tell him exactly what happened between him and his ex, and apologize profusely to Zune before I will even think of redeeming him in my mind. lol So there! hahah

I LOVE Jo! Can you clone him and make him straight? lol He is so good and so kind, always taking care of everybody. Gunni's mom is really lucky that her nephew has Jo and that Jo is so willing to take Gunni in and help him with whatever he's going through. I've read stories where one partner refused having the other partner's relative move in for whatever reason. This is a nice change.

Loved this chapter! I could feel Dan's pain and anguish once Chris "took over". I can feel his jealousy, especially when he looked out the window in the library and saw David with Jenna and then he saw Chris running up to him. God, it brings me back to my high school of unrequited love. lol Or would that be my high school years of unrequited love? Either way...it brought back lots of memories. Hopefully Dan has learned from his mistake of not accepting David's invitation. But....will David extend the invite again? Or did Dan totally fuck everything up now? I'm looking foward to the next chapter! Oh, btw, at the end of the first chapter, in your 'note' section, you mentioned "Then his eyes connected with mine." reminds you of American Differences. Which story is that? One of these online stories? I read a story called "American Differences" and it was really good. Just curious if it's the same one...

Well, that was weird with Ethan. All of a sudden he just shows up? And acts so nonchalant about it. Hasn't spoken to Caleb in two weeks and just out of the blue shows up. He doesn't know Carson, does he? lol She may have told him to cockblock Caleb and Jake. lol And of course hopefully Caleb won't need to call him. I hope Jake is sincere and really likes Caleb for Caleb and not just to see if he can get into his pants. Another awesome chapter furnished! I always want to read more!!! =)

Another cliffie!!!!! I can't believe Fleming's attitude with Andy! And right in front of his father! A judge, no less! Career suicide if you ask me. lol He's such a dick. Well, the shirt they found at JT's house had Andy's name on it. That doesn't necessarily mean that it's Andy's shirt. Anyone could use one of those markers like the ones you use for sleep-away camp, and write Andy's name on the shirt. Also, it could have been a shirt Andy wears for gym. Maybe Andy's missing a gym shirt, or any shirt for that matter. It doesn't mean Andy was at JT's house. And, as Tim mentioned, wouldn't they take JT off the suspect list if they think that Andy's shirt being at the crime scene exonerates him? I know Andy is the son of a judge, but boy was he nice and polite and had all the right things to say to Fleming when he came to question him. Good for Andy. And Fleming, he really thought he could get by and interrogate Andy w/o his father, an attorney or even an adult present? And by not telling Andy his name he thought he could get away scot free w/o anyone being the wiser? He really thought that no one would figure out it was him? What an ass. Well Billy, another terrific chapter! I'm looking forward to the next installment.

I'd rather r&r than email the authors. I love Nate and it's so unfortunate that he had to go thru all that shit with his brother-in-law. Oh, how old is Katlyn? (Is that how it's spelled?) The way Nate talks about her, (or thinks about her in his inner thoughts), it sounds like she's younger than he is. Obviously she's not, so I was wondering just how old she was. Anyway....looking forward to more! I guess I'll have to wait until you catch up on this site to r&r again. =)

Andrew, I think you need to put a warning up for your Interludes: WARNING!!!!!!!! FOLLOWING STORY WILL INDUCE UNCONTROLLABLE CRYING, SOBBING, WEEPING AND ALL OUT BLUBBERING. STOCK IN KLEENEX IS MANDATORY!!!!!! Now that I finished with all the crying, sobbing, weeping and blubbering, I can finally review this story. Is it a one-shot like the othe interludes, just to introduce a new character to the series? I am glad Jesse got out of Wellington. I've driven through Wellington and it is beautiful. =) I would have preferred if he talked to Seb's family. They may have taken him in, especially since he's so good with Kaya. Pretty name, btw. I'm sure douchebag Roger, (if he's still alive), would give him up in a heartbeat. I'm wondering where Jesse will go with Kaya. It'll be pretty difficult getting around public transportation with a dog. Anyway, I look forward to reading about him in "Lessons Learned". Oh yeah, Horn mentioned that since Jesse's from Florida, he might run into CJ and Danny. I'm curious how he will make it to the Triple J, (as I'm pretty sure that's where he'll wind up), and of course he couldn't be in better hands. If any kids can make him feel better, it's Zak and Co. Gah, I used up all my likes already, but this is the first story I've read all day! Anyway...I hear that Atlanta's supposed to be beautiful. I loved the trip to the aquarium; the whole section where you go in and see the fish and the sharks swimming next to you or on top of you, so to speak, is so cool. I didn't even know that there are whale sharks. =) Noah shouldn't worry so much about the hearing. No judge in his/her right mind would award custody to Willow after everything she has done. Great job Fitz!

Ha, didn't notice before that you already updated! lol I think Cody's way out of line. I can see him being upset with his mother. I was a little confused b/c you first mentioned his stepmother and then when him and Soren went down for breakfast, she was his mother. But then it was mentioned that his siblings' mother came to pick them up. I was assuming that his father's second wife is his stepmother like was mentioned first. Why didn't his real mom pick him up also? That's what he's so upset about, right? I think he was taking his anger out on Soren, even though we know he's jealous somehow of Luka. He didn't have to go after Soren like that, especially since Soren had no idea what he was talking about. The night before he was fine, so I can see where he'd be confused as to why all of a sudden Cody mentions Luka. Anyway....great chaper as usual! Oh, one typo I noticed: when Raquel was talking to Soren, telling him to come over, she said she and Evelyn were just going to "droll over guys". I think you meant 'drool'. Also, not to be critical, but you use the word 'sneer' too much. Everybody seems to be sneering, (which isn't a nice look), when they're talking about regular things. A sneer is a look of scorn or disgust, but when your characters sneer, the subject matter is of everyday things; not anything they should be sneering over. Ok, looking forward to more!

Poor Luka. He's so starved for attention he degrades himself by whoring himself out. I guess he feels that physical attention is still attention. What a horrible home life he has. He needs to get out of there. Isn't there another family member who could take him in? My heart goes out to him. Soren and Cody are cute. As always, I look forward to the next update. =)

Ok Jon I'm supposed to be watching my kid wrestle at the New England's but I saw you updated & I just couldn't keep away from Corbin. Sugarless Red Bull - doesn't that defeat the purpose? Lol I ABSOLUTELY loved the duet of love tunes between Corbs & Pete. It was pretty comical. =). I was especially amused that Pete knew all of these love song lines. I see how upset Corbin would be that he wasn't selected for the Marketing ad project for this year, but the professor explained it pretty well and he should be thrilled that he's a definite for the following year. Yes, it would have been nice for Corbin & Pete to work on it together but the way things are going w/them, seeing Pete more may not be in Corbs' best interests. Lol I sorta disagree w/so many people coming down on Corbs for the blind item. The girl should have never let some guy do that to her. I don't care if she was drunk, she should have known better. And besides, Corbin never mentioned her name. How many people really aw them? The whole campus didn't see them. I think people really need to chill out about this. She should have known better. I agree w/JoAnn; blast Sei's broom out to the stratosphere. I didn't realize Ryo's family's estate was THREE HOURS away from his home w/Soubi and Kaito. I thought it was in the same town. Poor Soubi; feeling insecure and anxious. I don't blame him. He knows Ryo is under his family's clutches now, especially his witch of a mother. They will do everything in their power to keep him there. But he's a grown man, right? Why can't he tell them no, he doesn't want to take over the business from his brother. Why can't he stand up to them? And what's to become of his sister-in-law and her unborn child? Now he's responsible for them too. As if he doesn't have enough to worry about. And Soubi making him feel guilty isn't helping. Wait, I know! Sakura, (is that her name?), can come live with him, Soubi and Kaito and maybe she and Kaito will hit it off (he is straight, right?), and then they can all help with the baby once he's born. Just sayin'.... Anyway, good chapter Sui! I hope that Soubi doesn't fall back to his old ways and tries to contact that scumbag Rin.

Chance has got to be so relieved that he has three people in his corner so far. And he knows when he tells his mom, she'll be there for him too. Can't wait to see what happens in school. And of course can't wait to find out who really sent that note. Terrific chapter Yanks! And as usual, my one and only complaint is that I have to wait another month for an update! Hey, is this on another site where you post more often? Just thought I'd take a chance and ask....lol

This is such an excellent story, but if you're looking for sunshine and lollipops, this story isn't it. This story deals with real life problems; depression, cutting, family issues, etc., etc. This story really makes you think and there are chapters that are really hard to read, but the story is so worth it. Layla is a terrific author and I would recommend this story to everyone.

Oh man, what an example of how people don't communicate with each other. Ben thought Patrick abandoned him in college, and Patrick thought Ben abandoned him. How sad that they may have had those twenty years together. Now that they are back on track, they can't lose out on another twenty. I can't wait to find out why Patrick needs a suit! lol And I LOVED reading how Patrick pretty much put Greg in his place after the game.What a ass Greg is; what's wrong with him? He's certainly not going to build any confidence in his kid if he's always telling her that her and her team don't play well. And jeez, doesn't he know anything about social graces? lol It's amazing to me that no one else in their group has ever gone against Greg's ignorant outbursts. It seems like they all wanted to. Great chapter Random.

I'm glad Patrick and Ben got things sorted out. Hopefully...... I love Alec and Grant; they are terrific friends to Patrick! Jake too; he was pretty comical! I still don't trust Rob. I hope Ben has worked things out with him and he's not just stringing Patrick along. Ok, on to chapter nine.

I don't know what rock I was hiding under that I missed all these updates! I actually felt badly for Patrick, sort of caught in the middle between Ben and Jeff. Jeff is such a sweetie. I do feel sad for him. Here is his crush; the boy he's had a crush on all throughout school, single and he thought available, but come to realize that he will never be w/in reach while Ben is still in the picture. So sad. And Ben. He knew Patrick was there for Jeff and he was so jealous. But really, he hasn't made such a huge effort for Patrick. Jeff is free and available w/no baggage. But Patrick's heart still belongs to Ben. I hope Ben doesn't crush it and stomp on it. I really like Drew. He seems very intuitive and I think he could be a good friend to Patrick. Ok, on to the next chapter!
