Week Eleven Monday, November 10, 2014: Holy Boneranigans
Lisa commented on skinnydragon's story chapter in Week Eleven Monday, November 10, 2014: Holy Boneranigans
Wow, PPF sure has a lot of boners! hehe Ok, that was lame. But seriously, he's screwing all the church wives -- what for? To prove he can? D2 should have taken a picture and printed it and accidentally left it lying around in his room so the woman who lives in the house could see it. Oh man, if he left it on Wednesday before school, PPF would see it also! I would think the woman who lives in the house would be mighty upset seeing her Prick getting busy with another church wife. I am also worried about D1. If D2 (I keep thinking of R2 D2! ) is so far into D1's head, D1 may never be able to get back. I think it's like DID -- one of the more dominant personalities of a person with DID can sort of take over and be the sole personality. Of course I'm not a doctor, and this may not be true, but I can see D2 taking over for D1 because maybe D1 can't handle this reality anymore. I feel badly for his brother and his friends. They have no idea what's going on. -
Love this blog, Dark! I've read a story by Carlos, and I read Albert's Secret Santa story (fantastic story, btw, for anyone who hasn't read it), but I've never read Julie's or MA's stories, although I've heard about them. Actually, I didn't even realize they wrote the stories together! I'm looking forward to the next Ask an Author!

CSR Book Club C S R Discussion Day: The Holly And The Ivy By Aditus
Lisa commented on Cia's blog entry in Gay Authors News
Addy! Congrats on The Holly and the Ivy being featured for the CSR discussion! It was a very interesting book, and yes, you made me cry -- towards the end of the book -- because of the book, not because of commas. And I'm with Defiance on the sock issue; I think my OCD would act up if I didn't have two of the exact same socks on. lol Although one of my kids will pick any two socks; he doesn't even care about the colors! Half of his sock drawer is filled with loose socks w/o their mate. I think the washing machine or the dryer keeps stealing them. Addy, you are such a pleasure to work with, and as I've said many times in the past: I was totally amazed to find out (years and years ago), that your native language is NOT English! Your English is excellent, IMO! -
What a beautiful, feel-good chapter, Parker! I really like Eustace, so I'm thrilled Andy got to see him again and introduce him to Zander and his folks. I'm glad Andy came clean to Eustace about everything; Eustace deserved to know. I also agree with Skinny about the ever-maturing Andy and how he can be the one to assuage Z's (love that!) fears now, instead of the other way around. Andy is becoming more confident in himself and that confidence shows when he talks to Z. I couldn't believe A&Z were getting busy in the barn! OMG! lol I was just waiting for someone to walk in! I hope Andy keeps the lines of communication open with Eustace. It was so obvious that Eustace thinks the world of Andy.

I'm glad Jacob finally has someone to sit with at lunch. Cathy seems like she'll be a good friend. I gotta tell you, Ron, I think Tiffany is so very brave. No matter how one feels about their biological gender, not hiding who they are and walking into school, knowing they'll be harassed and ridiculed, is so brave. She must be going through agony on the inside. I mean, how much can one person take of being made fun of, talked nasty to, harassed, day in and day out. It would drive anyone insane. I'm glad she's found a friend in Jacob. And Cathy. Assholes like Darryl need to be put in their place.

Week Ten Sunday, November 9, 2014: Dangerous Plans
Lisa commented on skinnydragon's story chapter in Week Ten Sunday, November 9, 2014: Dangerous Plans
I am really worried about David now. Not David2, but David. David2 likes the fact that he doesn't care about things he once did, he likes the fact that he doesn't interact with people like David does. He's thinking of continuing with David2 and putting David on the shelf. Big, big, HUGE mistake!!!! What if David2 can NEVER go back to David again? What if his mind totally just cracks and he's stuck with David2 forever? That's of course if Prick and Pricka (Frick and Fricka?) and that white van don't get to him first. I do love the fact that the woman who lives in the house has limb pains now. Arms, shoulders, shouldn't her ankle (or leg) be hurting? lol I sorta hope Tommy figures something out, but I do agree with Jess; he should talk to Twoey. Twoey's a mess, but at least he knows what's going on with David. And Twoey should most definitely talk to his mom. How on earth is David2 going to avoid David's friends? Every day? He's never going to turn his phone back on? I am really worried about him, Skinny. -
Week Ten Saturday, November 8, 2014: I Am Not Your Brother
Lisa commented on skinnydragon's story chapter in Week Ten Saturday, November 8, 2014: I Am Not Your Brother
I hear what David's saying about fighting a war, the warrior must focus solely on his goal, but I don't understand why David thinks he has to do this alone. Warriors had armies and generals and commanders and others that helped them fight. David is doing this all alone. Like your readers said -- he's alienating the people who can help him. I'm sure his friends could think of something better than David2 fighting this battle without the real David. He broke Twoey's heart, he left Ginny baffled, Tommy confused and worried, and God knows what Gary is thinking since he can't get in touch with David because David turned his phone off. I think the worse thing he could do is stop seeing Dr. Keating again. Well, I guess he'll go back once he dusts off David from the mothballs and retires David2. I just don't like where his mind is now. I think he's losing it. I do like what he's doing with the dolls though. The woman who lives in his house will now be complaining about foot pain, to go along with her shoulder pain. hehe Ya dumb fucking whore. I almost forgot: David2 better be more diligent about that white van than David was. Neighborhood watch my ass. It's at least Prick if not Pricka. (Frick and fricka?) lol Matty was beyond sweet with Chuck. I hope that wasn't just to give Chuck a false sense of security. Although, I think if Matty gets Chuck as worked up as he did last night, anything goes with Mark getting into the action. Another awesome chapter, Skinny! -
Congratulations, Cynus, on your promotion!

Oh man, Parker, this chapter had me bawling like a baby. I'm so thankful Ambrose continued to look for Andy/Eric. He found a real live, normal, stable uncle. An uncle who has a wife and kids and a mom and they are all Andy's family. Now Andy has two families. Eustace's letter had me crying also, of course. It was beautiful. I can't wait to read the next chapter when A&Z and the folks get to meet him. I think everyone will get along swimmingly. (No pun intended ) I know there was a point when Andy went to one of Zander's meets, and I was thinking what would happen if he was in a picture and Ambrose wound up seeing it. Not sure if I even mentioned it. I'm so glad it worked out for Andy. Now, can CPS still harass Andy? He has biological family now who, if push came to shove, would welcome him with open arms if necessary. I think they should put firebombs under that asshole Chandler lady. I did have a question though: What did this line mean: 'I heard Monica gasp. "Andy. You must be…you're…"' I read the line a few times. It sounded to me like Andy's uncle was someone famous, and I kept reading, but nothing was mentioned about him being famous - just a guy working for the government. On to Eustace!!

Story Review Featured Story: Team Building
Lisa commented on Renee Stevens's blog entry in Gay Authors News
That's what I meant! lol You get all the rep points after people thank you or comment about your review. Then you quote them, and people 'like' it. Right? lol I knew you didn't get rep points from writing the review itself. -
Lol, I started writing my review and I must have hit the 'Add Review' thingy by mistake, so all that came up is an empty review. Sorry! Ok, now I forgot which chapter I was reviewing -- the one where Ambrose Whitley shows up at the Stevenson's. I'll continue with my review: Well, fuck. This is not going to be good. I wonder who the other guy with Ambrose is? Another cop? Shit. Shit. Shit. There's always something that puts a wrench into Andy's life. I would rather Eustace be there than his son; his son has it in for Andy. Awesome few chapters, Parker! I'm still hooked on the story!!

Week Ten Friday, November 7, 2014: Traded
Lisa commented on skinnydragon's story chapter in Week Ten Friday, November 7, 2014: Traded
I'm going to put the review in for chapter 67 in this one. I'm lazy that way. What a bunch of self-serving, HYPOCRITICAL, FORNY-CATING assholes Prick and Pricka are. Jeezus, it's bad enough they're fucking around, BUT TO DO IT ON YOUR SON'S BED???????? How many EWWWWWWWWWWs is THAT???????? And why the hell did David WATCH THE WHOLE ENTIRE THING????? That's some more ewwwwwwws right there! It must have been like a train wreck; you just can't look away from it. How could he even LOOK at her again, never mind TALK to her! But thank God he talked to VP! Putin has all the answers for David. Wouldn't want David doing anything stupid. Putin's advice is right on the money - blackmail! But making it seem like those adulterating forny-cators (I know, they mean the same thing! lol), came up with the idea is gold. I'm glad David apologized to Tommy. Poor Tommy must have been crushed that whole day. Especially with the sign David put up. Sam's brilliant! I was actually thinking of using the voodoo dolls also; I think that's a great idea. I loved that David hung two of them up with the nooses - brilliant! Hopefully Tommy won't think it's him or Liz!! Now Chuck - he has no friggen' idea what Matty wants to do with him, or who he wants to SHARE him with - his own brother!!!!! Chuck is NOT experienced enough in anything to handle THAT! lol I think Matty would have much better luck with Erik on that front. And yay for David getting rid of Burch (he should be fired, IMO)!!!! APUSH will be so much better, and he'll be challenged more. Hopefully in May he'll score a five on the final! Now that I'm all caught up, I'm on pins and needles waiting to see what happens next. OMG, do you think when Prick and Pricka (love that! Pricka! lol), give David everything he wants (don't say no to any money either, David!!!! lol), in exchange for his silence they'll sort of betray him and try to run him over again? Or worse???? -

Week Ten Wednesday, November 5, 2014: Doomsday
Lisa commented on skinnydragon's story chapter in Week Ten Wednesday, November 5, 2014: Doomsday
First, please excuse any typos; I'm typing this on my phone. I logged in just so I could review this chapter. Second: GAH!!!!!! What just happened?????? Why isn't David answering his phone???? Why is he not going to school tomorrow???? Third, I hope that Burch will get his walking papers but not before he gets reamed a new one by the principal. I know the principal thinks David is very smart (of course we know he is). He can take APUSH as a sophomore; hopefully he'll get switched out of that class regardless what they do to Burch. I so wanna read the next chapter, but it's past my bedtime & I'm gonna turn into a pumpkin. Lol And thank you, Skinny, for reminding me I need to catch up w/Andy & Zander also. -
Week Ten Monday, November 3, 2014: Bully
Lisa commented on skinnydragon's story chapter in Week Ten Monday, November 3, 2014: Bully
I was actually quite choked up when David was talking with Jack. He was so mature at that moment, and the best thing was, his talk worked! Hopefully Jack will continue to take the high road (not bully), and learn something good about himself in the process. You know, I don't think Doc Keating meant what does Twoey think about the kisses; I think he meant what does Twoey think about David controlling how far they go. That's how I read it anyway. Now Matty - wow, actually Curt. lol I can't wrap my head around thirteen-year-olds doing that stuff. They do start young, don't they? lol -
Ron! I'm so excited to see you're posting this new story here! Now I can comment without the comment box cutting me off. lol Poor Jacob/Bobby. His "father" (I think from now on I'll just call him SD for sperm donor), is a piece of work, isn't he? What an ass. And people just go along with whatever he says. Doesn't say much about them, now. lol
-
Paul Anderson! Funny, funny, funny. Paul Anderson was a character in another series here on GA. He started the series as a porn star going by the name of Johnny Mellow. lol There's also an actor named Paul Anderson. Anyhoo, awesome chapter, Mitch! I'm glad Paul wants to make amends with Jason. I think Jason could use all the friends he can get, and it's certainly a plus for him that Paul and Vicktor get along. I'm still not convinced that Nikolai (sorry if i misspelled that), wasn't killed because of who his father is. It just lucked out for the killers that it looked so much like a home invasion. I'm looking forward to the next chapter!

J, I think one of the secret admirer stories had the flu/flue mistake. Was that you?
-
'Apparently the guy I was writing about had a chimney related illness.' That was really funny, J! (Sorry, had to fix 'illness' - couldn't stand the squiggly red line under it. I would never write "Tom and myself went shopping." I would say "Tom and I went shopping." Take away 'Tom' and you have "I went shopping." The question mark only looks out of place because it's not for the statement itself; it's for your question about the statement. (Did that make sense? I'm not sure if I explained it properly.)

Talk about a dysfunctional family! Holy crap! Eli's cousin is his half-brother also. Shit. How his mother can even TALK to her sister is beyond me. Her sister stepped way over the 'bro-code' for women! (I actually have no idea what the female name for the 'bro-code' is.) She should have divorced her sister when she divorced her cheating scum of a husband. The letter Jacob left for Eli was heartbreaking to read. I wonder who found it and stuck it in the envelope, since the envelope wasn't written by Jacob. Maybe Jacob's mom? Excellent detective work on Eli's part. Everything surrounding Jacob's 'suicide' sounds fishy. It sounded to me like he was being set up, and he wrote the letter to Eli hoping Eli would pick up on his clues. Like when he purposely left his phone there. I'm looking forward to the next chapter, Milos.
