It was so, so smart of Jason to record Brad and Co. True, it's much to go on, but at least it's something. At least he knows now that Devyn's "tutors" aren't tutoring him in anything but transporting drugs and sex. Poor kid.

Thomas and Colt are sweet together. Thomas is definitely the boyfriend to have if you've never had one before and/or if you've never been with another boy before. He's so caring and loving. I've always loved Thomas. Oh Matt, Matt - take the damn drugs! lol They will help. I can see how Andy and Matt each come away with different ideas when they leave the doc's office. Matt continues to be serious and Andy is just a barrel of laughs, as usual. lol But when he is serious he can be pretty mature. I like how the sessions with Walker are going - he really gets the boys to think about what they're feeling.

What a lifesaver Arnar is. The scenes with him and Siggi are just beautiful. You can tell how much they love each other and how much Arnar wants to be there for Siggi to make him well again. I know Arnar will be there for Siggi to support him over this next hurdle: meeting with Gummi about Kresten and finally telling the truth. Great chapter, James!

Oh yeah, definitely continue! If I learn how to play piano can I be Roman's kept woman? lol I'm looking forward to reading more.

"Tears in Heaven" is heartbreaking b/c didn't Clapton write it after his little boy fell out of a window? I must admit, I never listened to "In the Arms of an Angel" in its entirety b/c the first few lines alone had me blubbering like a baby. There are actually a few songs that I can't listen to and change the station immediately. Brad Paisley's "Anything Like Me" comes to mind. My middle son, Zach, used to play this in the car all the time when had his permit. I couldn't pay attention to how he was driving b/c the road was too blurry from my tears over that damned song! lol

Omg, Mark went all Lizzie Borden on his father. lol Shit, I really can't believe he just hauled off and started throwing punches. I wouldn't say his father didn't deserve it, he certainly did, but wow, I really didn't think Mark had it in him. I can definitely see how he could get carried away though. All the bad things his father had said to him over the years and how poorly he treated him just fueled Mark's anger. I think if Gary wasn't there or Brent even, Mark may have done some serious damage before he was through with dear old dad. And what a BEYOTCH Jackie is. I cannot believe her. This is the same sister who didn't want Mark moving away to be with Trey? The same sister who Mark saw a real lot before Trey came along? She like went all Jekyll and Hyde on her own brother. Maybe it's just hormones, who knows. I hope Brent is strong enough to put a stop to her manic behavior. Great chapter, Renee! I was at the edge of my seat!!

Jason!! Jason!! Jason!! My God couldn't you tell by the way Devyn was panicking at the mention that the "good" old doc wanted to stay and 'watch over him'?? Didn't you see the relief when you said you sent him away? I liked the way Jason casually asked if the cops were coming back. At least he knows the sheriff hasn't been bought off by Brad...yet. I also agree with Cannd; why hasn't Devyn been panicking about Michael now that he knows Brad's probably on to him? Ok, on to chapter sixteen.

Poor, poor Jean. What a horrible way to spend the first seven years of your life, and then the next few years being used and abused by your pimp 'savior'. I admit, Oscar's dream confused the hell out of me. I'm going to go back and reread the other dream he had in the chapter you mentioned. Very creepy. And of course, just what ColumbusGuy said, the doctor was no doctor but the devil or demon or whatever. Not human at least. And...then he is the pimp b/c he was the one who took Jean when he was seven, correct? At least that's what I thought since he seemed familiar to the father and the father liked his golden eyes...just like the "doc's" golden eyes. Great chapter, James!

Wow - they really did a number on Daryl. I'm glad that Carol knew all along that Zune was right about him. But shit, they'll be lucky he doesn't die in the hospital from all those wounds. They must have broken every bone in his body. I hate to say it, but I was even feeling a tad sorry for him. lol I kept cringing every time the hockey stick slammed into his body. Well, if he dies, there's no proof that the kids killed him, but if he doesn't and he rats them out, what will happen? It certainly wasn't in self-defense, so what spin will Carol put on this, a crime of passion? With three of them being very passionate about beating the shit out of him? lol (Ron didn't beat him, right? Shit, you would think I'd remember, lol) And YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jake is found and Ron and he are back together it seems. I'm glad Ron is so apologetic but seriously, he's going to have to eat crow big time to redeem himself and get in Jake's good graces again. He could have changed his life for Corbin but would he have? He doesn't even know. I'm glad Corbin and Pete are back to being friends. I'm not sure why Corbin would use Lee the way he did. He always has another agenda when he's "dealing" with others. lol It's never as he says it is. lol I mean, I know why he's using him; it'll be a major coup getting Lee to join Chi Beta, and therefore he's hoping Domidick (haha, LOVE that one, Carrie! ), will reinstate his social chair position, why is he using Lee for sex? Corbin's not interested in Lee; he doesn't even like him! lol I don't think Pete is toxic for Corbin. I think what Jaro said is true: that Corbin can't manipulate Pete into doing what he wants, like he manipulates everyone else, and yes, the same holds true for Mike. He can manipulate Lee all he wants it seems! lol Another awesome chapter, Jon! Can't wait for more!!

Like Mann, I love reading these interviews. Since I rarely go into the story threads in the forums, these interviews really show off the author's personality. I really love Comsie's stories and I find each one I read a little different than the last one. There are about a hundred of his stories I need to get to! When I first came on the site he was still writing The New Kid (was that the name of it?), and still updating Billy Chase. I think both stories were up to 500 chapters or something. So, one time when I have a few weeks free, I'll read them. Great interview, Renee and Comsie!

Kieran definitely has matured since meeting Robin. I don't think he would have sought Becca out (at her job of all places!), to ask for a truce and ask for her to come back to the house before meeting Robin. Too bad Becca wasn't mature enough to do this herself. Shows what kind of girl she is. Kier was funny with the house - obviously he's never talked with a builder before. lol Two weeks - the house will be done in two weeks. Hmm, he's never seen The Money Pit either, obviously. lol "The in between your heartbeats" saying that Robin told Kieran was so touching. That was such a beautiful thing to say. Right there, with that saying alone, is proof that you are a great writer, Sasha. =) It's the kind of saying that makes people wish there was someone out there who would say that to them (or maybe that's just me ).

All I can say is thank God Jason is finally seeing some light and thank God there's a new sheriff in town!! lol I hope when the deputy tries to sweep this under the rug the sheriff pushes for more answers. Maybe the sheriff will insist on accompanying the deputy back to Brad's. I also hope that if Jason needs help in bringing Brad down, that Lyle, Trent, and Chris will back him up. Oh! But my biggest hope now is that Brad doesn't go all Kieran on Michael and do something to him or his family.

Yep, the "good doctor" is just another pedo like the rest of those men. They should be ashamed of themselves. At least Jason was there which prevented that slimeball from raping Devyn. That's why they cut his throat - well, for obvious reasons so he couldn't talk and tell others (if he ever found anyone he could trust), what's going on, but also so he doesn't yell and scream when his "tutors" are "tutoring" him. Poor kid.

Jeez, now Devyn has to get molested by Brad's "doctor"!!!!! Shit! If Jason had known he would have kept his mouth shut.

I know once Jason knows the truth he'll stick up for Devyn. But Devyn is so afraid Brad will kill or seriously wound anyone that gets in his way, including family and friends of bodyguards and other household employees. Brad has Chris, Trent, Lyle, and Sam under his watchful eye. I wonder if Nelson is going to say anything to Brad about how Jason had acted. Nelson also seems a force to be reckoned with also. Ok, on to chapter twelve!

I saw this posted on Nifty also but I never read it. For some reason I thought it had to do with the apocalypse or something and I thought it was an AU type of story. I'm glad to see it's not and I look forward to reading it here. I still have to catch up with your other story too.

Dr. Walker did get a lot out of those boys, and Matt was able to admit that he was angry with Andy, as well as himself. I like how A&M both take responsibility and don't just blame the other one for everything. Matt is a smart boy and I like that he's not giving up football and he's still going to run for junior class president and give it his best shot. I could tell his folks were proud of him.

Lol, Irri's comment made me crack up too! Jonah in a monastery! lol Oh man, poor Chris! What a way to find out that your b/f is still in love with his ex! Shit. Jonah is such a good friend. He must feel so guilty even though he has no reason to, as Chris said. I'm really dying to know what Ren was about to tell Jonah when they were sitting at the table holding hands. And Yay for Green Day and Yay for Abba!! lol

I was thinking the same thing as Robert - did Jason intentionally out himself to Devyn and Michael? And did they even pick up on it? Awesome chapter, Mom! I'm glad Devyn sees that Jason isn't such a bad guy. And actually, if Devyn knows about Jason he might think there's less of a chance that Jason will tell Brad anything he and Michael do.

I really like this poem, Connor. It's very sad and I'm sure something that happens quite often when people are afraid of what society thinks and they don't want to go against what others expect of them. It's very sad for the person they leave behind, for the person they are lying to, and especially for themselves by living this lie.

Mom, what a great chapter! As Terry said, despite your difficulties in writing the chapter, it was terrific! I'm beyond thrilled that Jason now has some doubts about Brad's integrity. It's also great that he knows about Devyn and Michael's relationship and the fact that Michael is the only one he can talk (literally!) to. Can't wait for chapter ten!
