Devon's dad is a piece of work. Good for Dr. W. for sorta putting him in his place. I hope Devon doesn't get into any trouble. I'm glad Jay's feeling more comfortable being close to Scott and not jumping away every time someone comes in the room. Looking forward to the next chapter, pm.

I remember reading this chapter on the other site (where I started the story), and crying my eyes out but not being able to comment. At least here I can comment. That was such a powerful chapter, pm. From Jay admitting he didn't want to be like the poet Morgan and hiding his whole life, to standing up on the chair and shouting he was gay to the presentation with that sad, sad song in the background. And Vanessa is such a great friend to Scott and I think she can be a really great friend to Jay also. Oh, I just wanted to mention two errors: It's Elizabeth Barrett Browning and Emily Dickinson. The names were spelled incorrectly. Ok, on to chapter fourteen. I think I caught up now from the other site.

I read about this on MSN last night. It's horrible that this freak accident happened to him. I can't imagine how Sean Abbott feels; he'll carry this guilt around with him forever.

I can see how Oscar feels about going right back in the hospital for a nose job. For his mental state I hope he decides to go ahead with it. I think having that "mark" on him as a constant reminder of his "father" won't be good. I'm sure he wants to erase everything that man physically did to him. It's also a step in the right direction changing his classes. Now that that man can't control him any longer, he's free to take the classes he wants and do what he wants with his life and not live in that man's shadow. Great chapter, James! I hope you guys have a safe trip.

Randy is such an idiot. Derrick's worse. All they see are dollar signs. Let's see how far Randy can fall. I'm glad Matt tried an attitude adjustment. Sometimes they do wonders for the spirit. lol I wish Andy wasn't so nasty to Jason; Jason is only coming to him for help. Andy doesn't have to be an ass about it. I hope Jason talks to Mr. Lynch and Mr. Lynch can advise him what to do about his parents.

Excellent story, Mom, just excellent!! You are such a talented author, the story was so well written, the characters were wonderful, well, you know, except for all the bad, child-abusing murderers, and you kept me riveted from the first word of the first chapter. Reading the last chapter in Jason's POV was great b/c it gave us insight into what he personally is feeling. I hope things continue to look up for Devyn; I'm so happy to learn he'll be going to school for art or biology. And he'll have Michael there and he'll hopefully make some more friends and learn to open up and trust others again. Terrific story, Mom. Again, I can't enough about it! lol I look forward to reading the insert about Brad, and other fabulous stories I know you'll write.

This chapter was so beautiful, Mom. I was a sobbing mess also when Jason and Devyn hugged and cried together, telling each other the other loves them. That was so beautifully written. This was just a perfect chapter. Oh noes! On to the last chapter!!!

I agree with Lit Lover and Fax: I want to read about Brad's death - I want him to have been tortured; maybe every finger broken, then every toe broken, then the arms and the legs, but let's start with the kneecaps first; I hear that's really painful. Then continue upward but then go back down and cut his fucking balls off and slice his dick to smithereens! Yeah, that's the ticket! I'm beyond thrilled that he'd dead, but I would have LOVED to see him suffer. And of course I'd love to know who had him killed. Thrilled Jason will be taking care of Devyn, doubly thrilled that Michael is in Devyn's life for good (well, 'for good' as in however long first love/teenage romances last. lol),

Heya Mom! Hope your weekend away went well. I was away too. I missed so many chapters! All I can say is THANK GOD DEVYN IS ALIVE!!!! He better stay that way! Ok, on to Jason and Michael in the hospital. Jason's right - Devyn is going to need Michael there to give him inner strength to keep going on.

Csr Discussion Day; Tears Of The Neko By Craftingmom
Lisa commented on Cia's blog entry in Gay Authors News
I haven't read "Tears of the Neko", but I'm loving "All In"! lol Of course I have like ten chapters to catch up on! I really like your writing style, Mom, and I look forward to reading more from you. I know I totally missed the Q&A time today, but is your third story posted on the other sites? Your little sugar gliders are adorable! And I used to carry a book with me EVERYWHERE when I was younger - especially to restaurants. What else was there to do while waiting for your table? lol -
The LBO beat me to it!!!!! I was gonna wait until almost midnight EST, but no matter!!!! I hope you have a fantastic b-day, Addy!!!!! My ff only deserves the best!!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADDY!!!!!

Simple Plan is just fantastic. "Welcome to my Life" is also another great one of theirs.

Omg, Mom! Shit, did those three buffoons throw Devyn in his room? Did he slit his wrists? Omg, I'm on pins and needles here...
-
Omg, if Brad doesn't get back soon and Chris, Trent, or Lyle don't go check on Devyn, they'll all be too late!!!! Shit, I'm on pins and needles here, Mom! Terrific nail biting chapter!
-
Devyn is at the end of his rope. I can easily see him taking the paring knife and just trying to slice away at his wrists. He feels he has nothing to live for and he's so tired of being hurt. Brad is a monster. His control over his employees is detestable. They need to grow a backbone and stop him. He was thisclose to killing Devyn and probably would have if his phone didn't ring. I am so curious though about the nursing home complaint ruse. Oh! I bet he explained everything to the sheriff, showed him his phone, etc., and the sheriff is the one who told Watson to call Brad with that info. Hopefully. Ok, on the the last chapter of the night.
-
Brad and Co. are definitely going to take the missing backpack out on Devyn. Also, did they (especially Jason), even THINK that that Jorge Natales guy WASN'T going to call Brad? He was probably on the phone with Brad the second they stepped out the door. And Brad was probably biding his time, waiting for them to come back while planning his and Devyn's demise. That's why Brad wanted Devyn home - for the backpack and probably to do more verbal and physical abuse to him. I have to agree with Cannd; Jason should have waiting a little bit more, maybe tried to convince Chris, Trent, and Lyle to go with him and tell the sheriff what they know. Doesn't Jason know as soon as he steps foot into the police station Watson will be on the phone with Brad? Shit, maybe Jason should have called the sheriff and arranged a meeting in another town. Ok. on to the next chapter. Thank God I can read it now b/c I'm going crazy here with worry!
-
Oh thank God Jason thought to record Brad and Co.! Good move! Good thinking to email it to Lyle and his dad...just in case.

Sui!!!!!!!!!!!!! (count all those exclamation points!!!! lol) So glad this story is back - I missed it! Well, it's obvious that Jaxton knows exactly what happened to Shin and the others; he totally evaded Levin's questions and offered lame comebacks. Oh yeah, since the "accident" happened outside of the office it had nothing to do with their work. Pulllleeaasseee. What a line of shit. I'm not sure if I trust Levin either, but at least he's NOT on Jaxton's side, as Vincent probably is since he's working for him. I'm glad they finally got closer. Heartbreaking story about Vincent and his army buddies. More heartbreaking was Haje's tears when he finally let loose in Vincent's arms. Great chapter, Sui! Looking forward to more.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMO!!! I hope you had a great day!

Ok, awesome, now that dumb and dumber are on board, and Jason has Lyle backing him up too, there is finally some hope for Devyn that his monster of a stepbrother will be behind bars none to soon. I'm so glad Jason finally pieced all those missing pieces of the puzzle. Now he can be the ace and win the game. Ok, I probably botched that up horrifically since I know NADA about poker! lol On to the next chapter...

Sometimes You Get What You Need
Lisa commented on Sasha Distan's story chapter in Sometimes You Get What You Need
Wow, Gary's review was so beautiful it made me cry. Yes, Kieran now has Robin, his racing friends and sorta new friend Ellison, and his friends Z&Z and Bey (absolutely LOVED hearing from them!!), his kids (and their parents), and Shastan (no Becca here! lol). Kier and his Sparrow can live HEA in their beautiful new home which Robin built, well, designed. Another comment of Gary's I'd like to mention is the racing. I've seen maybe five minutes of a NASCAR race years and years ago. All I kept thinking was these people are NUTS to be racing at such high speeds, going around the turns like that, etc., etc. But just reading your story made racing really exciting for me. This doesn't mean I'm gonna turn on NASCAR anytime soon, but your words made the race very exciting. I really learn a lot from all your stories - from Zupan's murderball, to Ry's horsemanship, Kieran's racing, and list goes on and on but then I'd have to look up all your stories b/c I can't keep track of them all! I gotta tell you though - the dogs stole the story! Sorry, Kier and Sparrow and bikes - they did! Maybe you can have an epilogue with how the dogs are doing in their new home. Now I have to be patient and wait for your next masterpiece, Sasha! -
Omg, I hope Devyn's not thinking of doing anything stupid in the bathroom. Shit. I'm mortified that Brad would do that to his own brother, well, stepbrother, but still. He has no morals, which we knew already b/c we've pieced together that he's capable of murder. Of his own parent, no less! He's a monster. I hope Chris and Trent get their selfish heads outta their asses and help Jason. They must know what's going on. Ok, on to the next chapter. Awesome chapter, Mom!
