I was not expecting Sammy to be the victim; I thought it would be Alex based on the beginning of the story. Omg, poor Sammy. Now when you say this is a pivotal point in their relationship, I'm not quite sure what you mean. You don't mean that Alex is going to leave him b/c he was raped, do you? He's not going to think that Sam WANTED that, right? He's not going to blame Sam, is he? I'm anxiously waiting for the next chapter, Val! =) Oh, and I meant to comment in the last chapter about how beautiful it was that Sam opened his bookstore/cafe to honor his grandma's memory, but I got all caught up in the whole you-didn't-write-the-sex-scene-rant that I forgot. lol

Yay! I finally got a chance to catch up with one of my favorite stories! I can definitely see Alex's side of things. Even though Sammy is the one rushing Alex, Alex doesn't want to make the same mistake twice. Although I have a bone to pick with you, Val! (not THAT kind of bone! lol) You are such a tease!!! They stumble to the bedroom ready to finally DO IT, and we don't even get to read about it!!!!! The next chapter better be some smut! Lol, just kidding! I really like the way this story is turning out. Ok, on to chapter five!

Another good chapter, VGM! I applaud Zeke (very cool name, btw. It was featured in another story on here also), for having the motivation and determination to get his body into shape. It's just too bad the kid in the first chapter was such an ass to him, that that was the reason why he wanted to change. I hope Aaron is nicer - at least he seems nicer; he didn't make any nasty comments towards Zeke, so here's hoping! I look forward to reading more, VGM!

I love this new story, VGM! I don't know how I missed the first posting. Ok, on to chapter two.

What a terrific story, Krista! I enjoyed it from the first chapter to the epilogue. I'm really sad to see it end; I loved reading about Corey and his world. I'm glad he found love and in my HEA mind, they breeze through senior year, go to the same college, get married, etc., etc. But then again, they are each other's first loves; they really need to sow their wild oats before they settle down. lol Awesome job, Krista! I look forward to reading more from you.

Omg, what a sad, sad chapter. Poor Andy - no one deserves what was done to him. I know they don't want anyone finding out what they've been up to, but shit, that guy should be rotting in jail for what he did to Andy. He almost died!!!! And he's only sixteen!!!! He should feel lucky that he's still alive and quit while he's ahead. The money is great, yes, but what it must do to your self-esteem I can't imagine. And you don't know what kind of crazy mother...s are out there just waiting to beat up on kids like Andy and Matt who're selling their bodies. He would be smart to back out of it now. Never mind that - when (if) his folks find out, he'll be grounded for life. Ha, like the TV show. lol What a great chapter, uplifted! I'm looking forward to what these boys get into next!
-
Well thank God the four menu items were behaving themselves. Derrick must have really given them a talking to! lol And shit, A&M are making so much money, if they keep it up they'll be able to fund four years in college! lol Too bad no one can know about the money, though. I think Andy's nuts for wanting to go out with just the client on a one-on-one basis. Not a good idea. And I forgot to comment on this in the last chapter - Randy better keep his mouth shut. Andy and Matt would be in a shitload of trouble if their folks find out what they're doing.
-
A&M ate the menu items! Seriously though, the four guys were totally out of line. They didn't care what the hell they did with A&M. Thank God Derrick came in when he did. Shit, it could have gotten really bad. Ok, on to chapter twenty-seven. I can't believe I hadn't r&r'd these chapters!
-
Well, they are officially prostitutes now. Derrick does seem like he's looking out for them. I hope he continues to do that.

What a funny, feel-good chapter, Krista! Loved Andy dreaming about the girls all showering together - he cracks me up. But the absolute best was the ending when Corey realized he really did love Clinton. Those 'I love you' s that followed were so sweet and caring; I could just hear them saying those three words to each other. Oh no, one more chapter to go!!!

Anthology News 2014 Fall Anthology: Scars *now Live*
Lisa commented on Renee Stevens's blog entry in Gay Authors News
You know, I didn't even read the spring antho yet! lol But I have started on this one! I've only read a few stories so far and they were all terrific! Man, I have a lot of reading to do. lol And kudos to the authors who have more than one story up there! Thanks to the antho team for putting this all together for everyone to enjoy. =) -
Omg, Bill, that was fantastic! What a feel-good story! Towards the end I was waiting for the other shoe to drop, so to speak, keeping my fingers crossed that there were no break-ups, deaths, etc. lol It ended perfectly! I love the way you incorporate the stitches and scars into the title - making memories one stitch at a time. lol Ah, what a great story, I can't say enough about it; I was riveted from the first line. You should publish this.

I ditto Jo Ann; this was another powerful, emotional poem. Where do you get all your inspiration from? You make beautiful jewelry, you write exceptionally wonderful poems...is there anything you can't do, Cele?
-
Another powerfully emotional poem, Cele. You are such a talented writer.
-
Wow, that's sad. It reminds me of stories that have to do with teens getting beat up by their fathers b/c of who they are. And unfortunately this happens far too much. Excellent as always, Cele!

I think that would be the absolute best anniversary gift, seeing all your kids and their kids' names carved into a tree. If they can get that part of the tree that would be awesome. It's great that Ean came up with an idea that was a comfort to Tyler. I also loved the pic you included. How did you do that?
-
Great story, Val! I loved reading about these guys! I can't believe those people at the gala were such snobs! Luckily there was one person there who wasn't. And Elliot wound up getting a nice client to represent. Great story, Val!

I ditto Sasha. I cried more reading this now, now that I know more, than I did when I first read it. Such a moving story, Addy.

I'll tell you, I applaud Mark and Trey; I would have been in tears the whole night, For Mark, it's not just his mother dying, it's Trey leaving also, so he has a double-whammy of feelings of depression and anxiety (not sure if that even makes sense, lol). I am glad Trey's folks will be there for Mark. Maybe they'll even be able to get Mark's father to ease up on Mark some.

Start Me Up, I'm Breaking Down
Lisa commented on Sasha Distan's story chapter in Start Me Up, I'm Breaking Down
I'm so glad Shastan admitted how much he loves Kieran. Kieran needed to hear that, especially since BtB totally went off on him. She was so out of line. She owes Kieran one hugeass apology. I'm so glad Shas FINALLY gave her some kind of warning and let her leave when Kieran demanded she get out. If I were her I'd be embarrassed to show my face there again! lol Kier should have sicced his dogs on her! As far as the article on Kier going back to racing - I'm curious to see how Shas and Sparrow react to that. -
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CONNER!!! I hope you have a terrific birthday!

Holy shit! Oscar is lucky he got away with his life! Omg, his "father" nearly killed him! Thank God Jeshua found him - he was like an angel sent to Oscar in his time of need - just like Jeshua had said. I hope those cops break down the Schubert's house and take those two child abusers and lock them up forever!!!!!! Terrific chapter, James! Oh, and of course Sam was adorable, adding some much needed levity to the situation.

I'm Not Your Perfect Son
Lisa commented on James Hiwatari's story chapter in I'm Not Your Perfect Son
Oh, Oscar, Oscar, Oscar - what would make you think your "parents" would listen to reason? These people are horrible human beings. How could anyone do something like this to their own flesh and blood? Omg, ok, on to the next chapter. -
Maybe Jenny has moved on from loving Corey 'like that', but I would think it would still hurt her, considering she's so touchy-feely with him. And why hasn't she gone out with anyone else? I think she'd feel better about herself if she had someone for her own, someone else to concentrate on besides Corey. I can just see Corey's dad coming up to the cabin with Clinton's dad and A&K's dads. Man, would they be busted! lol And it's a small town - what would happen if someone spotted them all from another part of the water? Can't wait to find out! Great chapter, Krista! I hope you're feeling all better now.
-
Very nice chapter, Writing. I thought the ending was very sweet, though a tad unrealistic. Do they really love each other? How could they? They know nothing about one another. lol I think it's maybe puppy love, or lust or infatuation. I do look forward to reading more though.
