Wow..,.there's a lot of ground...ahem...space to cover here...the upgrade just in the nick of time, who was the 'helping hand' that instituted it, and did they have foreknowledge that it was needed?!!! What of the remainder of the crews and the instructors? Did anyone else survive? Was this 'incident' part of a plot by the Director and possibly Professor Stick-Up-His-Ass? It would seem there is a concerted effort to 'neutralize' Shawn... Where is the 'boy' writing the AI program, having dessert? Is this boy someone who will be coming into conflict with the Director and the 'established' order??? What's the difference in their timelines???
