He looked up at the woman standing at the foot of the bed, ethereal, unreal, like a ghost. She stood like she had in the trial for the Aggregate of Matter, balancing the small orb of light on the palm of her hand as she extended it to him.
“Go away,” Stoker snarled, tightening his arms around Wojceich as he glared. “I dun want nutin’ t’do withs you.”
The figure remained, standing with the offer.
