Well said, at the end of the day, nothing has really changed other than some of the darkness in one's life is gone away!!

One other point I neglected to mention, your transitions from, let's call them different timelines/events, is a bit disconcerting as there isn't any referencing points letting us know the story has just jumped from one arc to another. Don't get me wrong, it's a fantastic story, one I am enjoying very much.

I'm glad they are considering all of the options available to them, no matter if the child is gay, lesbian, trans, straight, or special needs, both need to realize it is a lifetime commitment.....whoever they adopt will find a home full of love and caring!

Sequentially this story is all over the place, making it exceedingly difficult to follow. While I am enjoying the story, I'm left scratching my head as to trying to understand the non-linear purpose.

Spot on, I also had this thought, and it still worries me....I see the A-Hole as a loose cannon with a very short fuse!!
