Etienne found true friendship on the voyage over for the short respite it offered. Sadly, Henery proved a different kettle of fish once he was ensconced in the castle...Thanks to a wise woman in the kitchen, he found his footing and the beginnings of Henry's demise. I suspect that Etienne will find himself in Prince Charle's orbit attending to his daily needs...of all types!!!

At long last we find out a bit more about the witches...they aren't invincible tho...

And to think, in our current world golden retrievers are docile, lovable galoots...Smith demonstrated all the tendencies of a psychopath, and Michael endures he abuse to serve his own eventual plan(s)... Like others I would like to know more about the origins of the conflict and find it interesting that the herbivores created the collar tech....

One of my favorite easter memories was the first time I got to help dying the eggs the nights before easter with my mother, my siblings couldn't be bothered as they had 'other' stuff to do...to me it was a magical time spent with mom. Our spring has been wet, windy and a tad chilly...yesterday the temp's hit 83 degrees...wozer a rarity for central Massachusetts. Today was the first time the sump pump has been quiet for the day... Had the family over and the 10lb ham was more than sufficient, sent everyone home with some and will make some split, green pea soup using the hambone and the leftover and ham...

My thoughts exactly @Al Norris along with @wenmale64's comment about William... We've still yet to get answers as to what went/is going on in the Unknown Sector, I keep thinking back to the two, for lack of better words, starships that that Marc as discovered/found...there's some amazing technology there and what we don't know is who is behind the starships....or their capabilities!!! It is obvious that there is another civilization with some of the same needs as Marc's, what we don't know is their collective mindset, are they friendly or foes??? As to William, I can't imagine he's smart enough to pull all of this together, it is more likely that he's a dupe if anything... and woe to whomever makes a threatening move towards the children....

Marie-Looser has demonstrated a modicum of decency, hopefully karma will remember that when she finds herself in a life threatening and eventually redeeming situation.... That the entirety of the eastern seaboard population was affected is sad, one could only wish it only affected onerous, lying politicos and their billionaire buddies.... I remain concerned about the lab and the mess that was left behind and any opportunity to affect a coverup by one sanctimonious a-hole.... It's the rest of the country and for that matter, the world that make me curious as to what is going on there, and what their responses will be... Interesting times ahead!!!

Well...that was an unexpected turn of events...and while we have seen the evidence, we've yet to meet those responsible, and incidentally...have some surprising technology,; who are they how many of them are they where do they come from, are they a few who create armies of sterile laborers???? Inquiring minds are damned curious and hope they are no match in a conflict of any sort.... Last but not least...we have babies!!! Costumes as it is Easter tomorrow....
