I have to repeat myself here, Mason is not entirely to blame here, there is guilt with all involved... -
I'm reminded of the old saying..."You know why bosses are considered to be like diapers?" "Cause they are always on your ass and full of shite".... “That is not good enough, you need to come into work and fill in a form to get leave,” came a response. “As I said yesterday, not happening. I accepted this job on the condition that my family and my university studies come first, no matter what… This was agreed to by the company, so you have to stick by that agreement, and as I said before if you don’t like that, then I will quit. I have to go now as I have a family to be with at this difficult time, goodbye,” I said before ending the call.

Have to agree with @Summerabbacat, they need at least a 2 bedroom apartment. I would suspect with the college closing, many students will find their parents not willing to subsidize mommy and daddy's little darlings when the cost of living at home is enticing... There may be leases to sub-let or available....

Marc reminds me of the story about a little boy who was hoping for a pony for his birthday. When brought out to the barn, all he saw was a huge pile of manure, looking up expectantly at his father exclaimed, "With all this horse poop there's got to be a pony in there somewhere"....

Caution is warranted, the lady in black appeared out of nowhere and simply knew too much having niot any interaction with any of them... However, the warning that their lives were in danger should be taken seriously.... One wonders just how many other 'sprits types' like the Jinn are waiting to join this merry little escapade???
