I don't think I would have the stones to go to the lengths Andrew is going...If I had to go through with it wouldn't be so far out to sea...maybe a duck pond at the back of someone's property...or a babbling brook in a local park....Here's hoping all goes well!!! Andrew, who had been silent, said, "Can I ask—" Dante interrupted. "No. Don't ask. I don't want you out here, Andrew, but Mr. Black feels different. So, you and me, let's not talk."

Chapter 34 - Dozi, Tchama, & Djaruki
drsawzall commented on Adam Andrews Johnson's story chapter in Chapter 34 - Dozi, Tchama, & Djaruki
Thankfully many of the mob learned their lessons the hard way, a shame not all of them did... Then there is this regarding Djaruki... Uh-oh... -
Nice to see so many issues resolving themselves!!!

Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and New Years...I wonder if Oscar is drawing undue attention to his property through the fencing off of the beach, a little research showed there may be possible conflicts in the not-too-distant future... NOBODY OWNS THE BEACH — EXCEPT THE CROWN All of the beaches in Australia are technically Crown land, meaning they’re for public use. As a general rule of thumb, any land that high tide touches — known as the high water mark — is Crown Land. Laws vary in every state and territory and as sea levels rise, these laws are becoming even trickier for beachgoers and landowners to understand. And it gets even more complex when those landowners build their homes and restrict access to the public section of the beach. When people build on beachfronts, they’re awarded that section of land up to where high tide touches.

Chapter 32: “Stir up waters to catch fish”
drsawzall commented on W_L's story chapter in Chapter 32: “Stir up waters to catch fish”
I hope the seasons change while Thomas Radclyffe truly comes to appreciate the errors of his ways, slow and steady wins the race to his extinction... I rose from my seat, my voice echoed through the chapel with a cold, calculated fury. "Thomas Radclyffe," I began, each of my words dripping with contempt, "you have dared to rise against your sovereign, to spill the blood of my beloved son, Henry Tudor. For your treachery, you will face the full measure of my wrath." I would not be so hasty with this one, I suspect he holds many secrets of value, a painful extraction would be advised... Ivanovich struggled against his bindings, his voice echoing through the hall. "You are a fool! My fleet will lay waste to your city, and your reign will end in flames!" "Take him away," I commanded Marc. "Prepare him for execution." -
Like others I can't trust Marta, her questioning and comments revealed she knows much more than letting on...she is not to be trusted... If the boys can't stop their foolish bickering, they run the risk of failure. They need to figure how to work together ASAP!!

Chapter 33 - Olona
drsawzall commented on Adam Andrews Johnson's story chapter in Chapter 33 - Olona
Glad to see Olona is back up and on her way to finally healing, I'm hoping that she is a bit more aware that not everyone who claims to hunt warf rats is looking to do so!!! Hopefully she is done with installing deadly weapons in clients she doesn't know!! And just where is Dozi and Tchama? -
In every new relationship, Monday morning always comes after the fun of getting to know one another! What impresses me most about the boys is the happiness they find in the simple things!!!

Congratulations, a word of warning...I find myself busier now than I ever thought I would be in retirement...and that's a good thing!!!

The Tutelage of Master Toufle
drsawzall commented on TeamStilinski's story chapter in The Tutelage of Master Toufle
Once Simon is no longer stuck inside of his head, he should be able to ace the course...he's learning the hard way there is a difference between thinking and doing... -
Thanks for your kind comment, needless to say...there's another installment on the way shortly...

I can't say it any better than this, only to say that Dwight was a shmuck, Phil's away for four freaking days and he couldn't at the very least, take personal matters in hand??? While I am, sure Dwight had regrets for his stupidity, forgiving him must have been very difficult...Having lost friends who died from HIV/AIDS I find Dwight's behavior inexcusable.... On another note, for many of my generation and those older, the big worry/scare was Herpes, also incurable at the time, before the advent of HIV/AIDS...

Another example as to why this story site is among the best out there. Please take the time to read both Deed To Their Past and Strength Of Fate. Both are thoroughly well written and engaging and worth the time to read!!

Chapter Eighteen + Epilogue
drsawzall commented on Mike Carss's story chapter in Chapter Eighteen + Epilogue
Thank you for taking the time to gift us with your work, as you know from my many comments you succeeded in crafting a marvelous tale... At times you had me pounding the keyboard in frustration, astonishment, wonderment, and so very much looking forward to the next chapter. You've created what every author tries to achieve, reader engagement...thank you again!!! -
Prior proper planning prevents piss poor performance...sadly this was lacking, and the price paid will be enormous... We will soon see just what the prior nights activities have wrought... Was this whole thing dreamed up by a bunch of clowns posing as shifts??? The city watch had been defeated, but Tisa did not feel like the Shifts were victorious. She was still on her knees and her arm was screaming in pain. “Too many have died,” she whispered, looking around herself at all the corpses. Dead humans surrounded the Shift survivors, but Tisa only focused on the bodies right beside her. Many Shifts lay contorted, frozen in the agony they faced as their lives slipped away. The battle did not feel like a success, and tears began to stream from Tisa’s eyes. The pain in her shoulder was excruciating, but it was nothing compared to the pain she felt in her soul for the loss of so many of her kind.

I was reading this at the gym this morning while on the treadmill, and dang it...you had me reaching for the tissues once again. What a marvelous chapter in so many ways... I can't add anything that isn't mentioned in the comments above other than to note... So fricking true to life, Ollie is so damned lucky to have Uncles Chris and Andre... I want to be a part of this, and I have my own pitchfork, anyone got extra torches???

Well now...what could possibly go wrong/right... By the end of this Oscar may need the entire book of Lottery Tickets... -

The tension and drama are building slowly as the time for the meeting draws near...then there are all the comments adding to the mix...confusing all of us with all the possible twists and turns and to think, only 17 or so chapters to go!! Mr. Black has no clue what the Korner has planned for him...

So many questions.... When did Commander McIntyre's father pass; before his accident, during, or while he was recovering...or is it something he can't/doesn't remember??? When was the house sold?? did anyone from the Commander's father set up mail forwarding? I'm hooked, looking forward to the next chapter..

With all the weapons, will they in turn become what those they are supplanting?

Wonder what these folks truly think of Francis Heyward??? There is something dodgy and underhanded at paly here... The only slippery moment was when I heard Dan mentioning to Suki about visiting the Nemon palazzo and the Scarpa intervention. I couldn’t resist throwing in about the Pontormo and how lucky they were to be able to acquire it from Francis Heyward, but it was a shame to spit up the two. You could almost feel the air freeze. Suki made a brief comment about the Nemon palazzo then briskly moved on to other modern gardens in the area,
