humm....what could the following possibly portend??? I stood on the Dock and watched as I waited for them to depart. All the time working out how our relationship would work as a Bonded set of Mates. And unless they or I will change lifestyle, we wouldn’t. I shouldn’t say that. I could. They could stay on their ship, and I would stay here mining. We would see each other two, maybe three, days a week. I could live with that, but I don’t think they could, as they are having so much trouble handling this. Maybe in time they would be alright. God I am so angry, I'm not sure if anyone knows, but in many ways Nick's story was ripped right from the pages of the Boston Globe and the sad, and I'm not sure sad is the correct word to use but...I digress, story of Elijah Lewis, a 5 year-old boy killed by his mother and boyfriend...who weighed 19 lbs when the autopsy was conducted... I was watching the news before reading this and a segment came on about the sentencing of the mother and my blood was boiling mad... if anyone would like to know the particulars the following would be instructive... Two frigging weeks to get his glasses/contacts, WTF???? Simply no excuse for the delay.... Zac and Jessie just might be in cahoots with Killian's father... Asher is a wuss...not sure I can trust him; it is beginning to look as if he is setting him up...something is off with him, and he simply doesn't ring true...hope I am wrong...How is he gonna square hanging with the A-Hole twins when he is back spending time with Killian, and how is Killian going to deal with all his, "I'm staying stuck in the closet" mode???? Kane, it is time to level the 'you've been lying to me Mom...and when I turn 18...the last you'll be seeing of me, is my backside as I walk out the door!!!! Mom...proving to be quite the match for Killian's father, and another who simply didn't fully think things out when lying to her son....

dear lord in heaven, Ralph is 35 for goodness's sake....talk about the 'original helicopter parents'.... The twins know more that assumed..... Ivor has the right of it... Ivor considered, “I know this might sound a bit radical, but what harm might there be in just ignoring them and doing what the hell you want.” What indeed?

I think this story has legs, would love to see more!!

Oh my goodness...the angst permeating this chapter is palpable... and as our esteemed @Summerabbacat noted, Jackie is playing a version of Beach Blanket Bingo...gasp...with a continental...and Gordy, while his play may/might have been innocent, what hidden desires has he woken, will Arthur become more than a 'buddy'????

Killian, once again not thinking things through all the way through....good on Mom, let's hope her plans are finalized quickly, and just where is dear old Dad when he isn't coming home????

With all that the local constabulary is involved in, I'm sure the visit by them, was just that and surprised that it simply wasn't a simple phone call....

I think over time they will come to realize the necessity of following the tradition. It would be folly after all to think that life would evolve in the same way as it is here on earth.

Great comment, I think the lesson here is that everything is interconnected, that while the sacrifice seems to be unjust by some, everything used to survive requires a sacrifice of other 'living' things... With the addition of the survivors a way to find a 'balance' will be found...

Ok her folks, we can now assume these boys from Norway are actually aliens from a distant galaxy far...far away. And are here to take over the planet by seducing Matt and converting him to their evil ways knowing in the distant future he will become the president of America....that's my story and I am sticking to it until Oscar shows up in my bedroom to insert the dreaded probe....

Ralph needs to get the heck out of his head and embrace new possibilities... Before he could think about that more, the party started to break up. The evening was spent in the usual way, the organised chaos of bath time, stories by the fire and then finally he was alone. Ralph didn't like the person he was becoming, sex with Nolan was fantastic, but the need to keep it quiet, to pretend. He was uncomfortable being gay, of admitting it. However, the alternative, the Ralph who pretended and lashed out at people wasn't acceptable either. He drank too much, got maudlin and fed up. Then late, late, he pulled out his phone. Somewhere he had a phone number for Tommi's parents, he retyped the message more than once, before finally pressing send.
