Yet there is an insatiable clamor to execute these residents of Death Row...I am not advocating for or against them, just questioning the insanity/dichotomy of it all...

One can only hope that everyone understands the magnitude of what they are about to face...it is past time to figure out what the weaknesses of the Nmblings is...

Stunned is putting it mildly that this could have happened, we know it does in real life and too many times we hear of someone spending years on Death Row being exonerated....A study was once done showing is cost less to jail someone for life rather than execute them. For a society so pro-life I find it incongruous that they can be so ready to pull the switch and/or fight like hell to exclude exculpatory DNA or other evidence when it comes to life, years later....

I had to go with the WOW emoticon rather than Angry as this chapter was the tale of 2 different dynamics at play. While I love the first half of the chapter and the growth of the group, the second has me palpating in anger as I work the keyboard... While I am only guessing at the lad's age, I am assuming he's not quite or deeply into his teen years and for this and other reasons, I want the stepdad to have his testimonials non-surgically removed without the benefit of anesthesia... So many questions... What happened to his real father? What or where is his mother, is she clueless, drunk/stoned or otherwise out of it? Andre, I pray to god he is able to confront what happened to him and inform the relevant authorities. By doing so he just may find healing... Nothing gets rid of a dirty mess such as the stepfather than the harsh glare of publicity, hopefully news of his arrest and a mugshot will bring other victims forward, each helping to slam the door to the jail cell shut... What will become of the boy, and I can't see either Andre or Chris walking away... Not that I have any strong feelings one way or another, but the stepdad should be very popular once incarcerated...his ride when released just may be a hearse... On a lighter note...Baby William seems to be an angel...at the moment...My mother told me I was much the same way till I hit two-years-old...then she was pulling her hair out...

Another fascinating chapter...and loved the following... "So, I’m your boyfriend, am I?" Keith grinned, mock coy, "Well the position’s vacant and your face fits." "My face!" "That and other things."

I am finding the following to be a bit absurd and difficult to comprehend, let alone believe...there is more than enough to see the A-Hole sitting in the pokey doing 5-10 years... Another charge against his brother. Thomas is so tired of it all. This will not stop Adam from doing it again, it didn’t stop the last ten times. Then there is Billy, does he figure Thomas has money and he may inherit?? Checking if his ex is still breathing...and for how long...

I suspect hunger and the thought of easy prey motivated the wolves, it would be interesting to note if they, the dead ones that is, appeared well fed or emaciated... Welcome back and we are off to a great start!! Despite the effort not to escalate the issue with the football team and Alex, Quarterback Sam can't/won't begin to understand/take/accept any sort of challenge to his perceived top-dog status...it is not something he is willing to negotiate...The only way is to find another way to reason with him, which may be just as difficult as the first effort... He's coming from a place of self-indulgent power and will unreasonably meet any challenge head-on... I stepped in front of his path and stood with my nose inches from his. “IF they are, it’s none of my business, and it sure as hell isn’t any of yours. You need to get your goons to back down, Sam. Verbal abuse is bad enough, but if this keeps up, someone’s gonna get hurt.” “I don’t know where you think you are, Fowler, but in this school, the football team runs shit. That little fag mouthed off to one of my guys, and he’s gotta learn his place. You and your rats need to stay in your lane.” He glanced at Tommy, then back to me. “Are you going to let me get to class?
