  1. Plaid lad ...
  2. Fine, but not those that are mine ...
  3. As everyone else has so kindly explained ... Plaid Lads are MINE! Now go play with the fellas already in your herd. They're feeling neglected.

I didn't say anything about the commune because you told me not to so I didn't spoil the surprise ... I am curious how they'll get the zoning folks to approve it. I guess that's a perk of being mayor.

I've been waiting for this to post. I knew folks would like Brion. His legs may be broken but the brain sure isn't. Something CJ can appreciate and respect. I wanna see him at that DC dinner party. He'll fit right in.

It's probably age related, don't ask how I know 'cause I've forgotten.

It's great to see their time in FL fleshed out. And while it may have only been to his brother that was an announcement. You do know the readers are gonna want more ... @Daddydavek is gonna say this was too short. Still thanks for the brief visit.

    Streets of Fire

He does a bit of growing up and yet there's still still a bit of spark to his temper.

He's just old ... wait, wait ... I meant vintage.

Nice to catch up with Thiago but now I want more ...
  17. It was far too long I'd last read this sonnet. Your interpretation is excellent. Thank you.

  20. Death by sappy romance ... I'm sure with a little help from @Mann Ramblingsyou could write it.
  21. While, because I'm greedy story endings are rarely welcome, I like how this wrapped up. No serious injury to Leibe, Linc or CJ (likely because despite your breezy assurances to the contrary, you do fear readers with pitchforks) though the post trauma will require counseling. Epidio's death saved the circus a trial would have been and spared him the pain of realizing it would have all been for naught when his mother continued to decline and died. CJ and Oz still did for her what they would had they been asked for help. Poor Stephen continues to wallow in the effects of CJ's charmed existence as despite blatant disrespect and profanity his actions were excused by the circumstances. We know CJ's not finished at State as mention has been made of time in Cuba. I'm gonna presume that under the circumstances Oz will have no issues changing jobs. Interesting that the ancient biker from Ft. Lauderdale(?) gets called upon to provide assistance. That guy must know someone. Another fine job sir.
  22. I am so very happy for Eric and the news friends in his life. In his curmudgeonly way he has gained so much and offered much in return. Thank you for sharing him with us.

Same goes for a pitchfork wielded by an irate reader ... @Kitt has hers, I've got mine. You're just lucky I'm back in PA ...

Good to see Chipper again. He brings a certain something with him being old guard Squad. Peter and CJ seem to have found an understanding. Maybe, that will help Peter get passed the childhood harassment. Pity the idiot who hassles him in CJ's presence. Happy Birthday Owen, oh to be 30 again.

I had to laugh when Spike suggested CIA could use him as an analyst. CJ wouldn't be the first to use that position as a springboard to higher office. The birthday party was fantastic. Brookgreen Gardens has a small butterfly exhibit. It was an opportunity to see some species I wouldn't have otherwise and watching them flit about was relaxing. So the Chinese think CJ is more than he appears. Well that's true just not in the way they think. While the extra post was appreciated it just means we're drawing nearer the end. We your teaders may not be ready but having had the opportunity to work with you behind the scenes on a previous story I can understand you are.
