    Hope the recovery goes well.
  7. We've had a cookie baking tradition for as long as I can remember, over 50 years. It's just mum and I now but I can remember those early years when after the cutout cookies were finished the floor was crunchy with spilled sugar and sprinkles. A teen, I was the oldest, than my sister, mum's bf's 3 kids and the 3 neighbor kids. Mum would put a tray on the seat of a kitchen chair so the littlest could reach. We decorated prebaking rather than icing and decorating after the cookies cooled. Thanks for the memories.

It must be hell for a twit like Northman to have CJ reporting to him. Afterall, CJ is everything he is not ... tall, dark, handsome, intelligent, personable, athletic, wealthy and connected and Leibe's dad. He is virtually untouchable. Of course there had to be an irascible administrator not happy with the changes forced upon him but the bottom line is the guy cares about children. Hmmm, CJ and Austin sprawled out exhausted and sweaty ...
  9. Greetings Albert. Well enough thanks.

Hmmm, seems to me aging hasn't been kind to your memory. Best you recheck that database of yours.

NO, we did not! You may recall I mentioned him giving gingers a bad name as a result I have chosen to revoke his Brotherhood of Gingers International membership for behaviour unbecoming to gingers.
  12. Oh this was fun. I need to read The Hollow Hills, it's been on my tbr list.

Yes! A mention of Red, even if a bit oblique. Now if we can just hear from the other ginger. Again excellent flow, this time it was natural dialogue that provided background info for new friends. I'd forgotten the depth of CJ's feelings for Invictus, both the poem and the movie. Thanks for the explanation on the differing rugby styles.
  14. To be honest I found a site that offered optional Thai greetings and I copied this one from there. Thought it would be a nice gesture.
  15. Hi Terry. Ben yang ngai bang Khrup. I'm doing well enough thanks.
  16. Thank you Albert.
  17. Ahhh, there's the scowl I love ...
  18. That's true I can vouch for the many hot guys in your herd. While you haven't been here to visit as much I have continued my weekly visits with the boys for game night. Other than the usual complaints about being stuck in the pen in the damp, drafty basement they seem content. I too, miss you sis. The wonderkids are down to just us boys.
  19. Hope you had happy dreams and a safe trip 🚙
  20. I don't mind if he dances for you. He is a fine bit o' eye candy and a showoff but he ain't none too bright. I keep tellin' him to stop wearin' his shootin' iron on top of his gun, makes him all achey in a not good sorta way.
  21. Hmmm, I wonder having had a similiar relationship, were Gray and Jordan truly lovers? Both scenes play out in the ice cream shop and the implication is that happened once each year on Christmas Eve. Jordan's memory is of Gray at a workplace party, not of intimacy between them. Was there more we haven't been privy to? With Jennifer, Gray talked about Jordan while with Jordan he talked about her and the boys. Is it possible that while Gray's feelings for Jordan may have been deep they were strictly platonic. Obviously much to Jordan's consternation. Maybe what Jordan sees in Jennifer's eyes is her understanding of his unrequited feelings toward Gray. Perhaps Gray knew and told her. In her grief she seeks solace for herself and the boys in the one other who loved him deeply and in doing so brings solace to Jordan. Beautiful and poignant.
  22. Okay, but he is pretty to look at ...
  23. But that's good right. Winter snow=summer water.
  24. Hi Page. Hope all is well with you, Morgan, Max and Sneakers.
  25. Nope, no way! Kilt rules. My claim to plaid lads has precedence.
