  1. I don't mind if he dances for you. He is a fine bit o' eye candy and a showoff but he ain't none too bright. I keep tellin' him to stop wearin' his shootin' iron on top of his gun, makes him all achey in a not good sorta way.
  2. Hmmm, I wonder having had a similiar relationship, were Gray and Jordan truly lovers? Both scenes play out in the ice cream shop and the implication is that happened once each year on Christmas Eve. Jordan's memory is of Gray at a workplace party, not of intimacy between them. Was there more we haven't been privy to? With Jennifer, Gray talked about Jordan while with Jordan he talked about her and the boys. Is it possible that while Gray's feelings for Jordan may have been deep they were strictly platonic. Obviously much to Jordan's consternation. Maybe what Jordan sees in Jennifer's eyes is her understanding of his unrequited feelings toward Gray. Perhaps Gray knew and told her. In her grief she seeks solace for herself and the boys in the one other who loved him deeply and in doing so brings solace to Jordan. Beautiful and poignant.
  3. Okay, but he is pretty to look at ...
  4. But that's good right. Winter snow=summer water.
  5. Hi Page. Hope all is well with you, Morgan, Max and Sneakers.
  6. Nope, no way! Kilt rules. My claim to plaid lads has precedence.
  7. Oh, look what Gary gave me for Christmas. All wrapped, okay, mostly ... uhm, partially wrapped in plaid. Clo! Did you start unwrapping my prezzie?
  8. Oh, this was a treat. Thank you.
  9. But hoar frost looks so lovely on the trees.
  10. Wait! How could you possibly have taken enough food for a month when there was a teenage boy in residence?
  11. The story and the music were beautiful.
  12. I'd forgotten that song but as soon as the music started it came back to me ... thanks I think, for the memories.
  13. Well, it had fallen yesterday so that could explain it.
  14. Lookin' good cowboy.
  15. We're still talking about snow right?
  16. He is isn't he ... well yeah, all of them actually.
  17. I am a big fan of Pentatonix and this carol. This is an arrangement done by the original group.
  18. I would but ... well, I made the cookies and they came out just right but no fudge. Instead I spent all afternoon setting up the minature Christmas village under our tree. It looks lovely. With luck the fudge will happen tomorrow. Well it pretty much has to since Monday morning we begin making up and delivering the cookie/treat trays we give out. I've got the carrier pigeon warming up in the coop ...
  19. We are here in SC, thank you. We'll be baking black walnut cookies this morning. That will be the last of 16 kinds. Later today I'll make fudge.
  20. Hmmm, 63/17° and foggy here at sunrise. Supposed to peak somewhere in the low 70's/22° before a cold front and light rain arrive overnight.
  21. Sexy butcher is gonna have to sell more of his sausage ...

Nice chapter, good pacing with the brief vignettes of events. Plans for the tech centers are moving along. They seem to have settled in nicely to life in Mexico City. Even Northman seems resigned to tolerating CJ's activities.
  24. I'll bet next year.
  25. Thank you Albert. The hurt is lessening. The thing is we did so much together. Mum says Thistle got to experience things many other dogs do not and he did it with enthusiasm. Because that's true there are a lot of first time with out him events. While it hurts it also reminds me how very fortunate I was to have him in my life.
