We had a brief rain early this morning. It's currently 64/17° and cloudy. Expecting another bout of rain this afternoon then a system change to bring a couple days of sunshine.
It's snowing back home in PA.
If those become too much for you try just skimming passed them. That's what I do in stories where reading the sex scenes makes me feel like I'm peeking in someone's bedroom window. I do the same thing with books when they reach a point where sex becomes as much driving factor as is plot.
Haven't reached that point with this story but I understand what you're saying. Ritch seems more sexually active than CJ but as Carlos points out we're dealing with a much more condensed time frame.
I ended up sauteing the scallops in a bit of butter than adding in a medley of steamed broccoli, carrots and sweet peppers. Then tossed in some soba noodles. I seasoned it all with a bit of Thai chili paste, soy sauce and honey, that blended in the pan with the juices from the scallops to make a tasty sauce.
Incredible. I joke with folks in the kilt shop that to my best knowledge there are only two creatures on earth that face into the storm. The American bison and a Scotsman. The bison does it out of shear cantankerousness, the Scot for the breeze and a bit o' cantankerousness.
I meant Sparky when I said Lightning. I know where Lightning was built since that plant is about an hour drive from my home in PA.
So you're suggesting Ritch's need for speed may come into play. An acquaintance of mine drives a Lamborgini SUV. She traded up from her Range Rover.
So I've noticed no one has speculated on what Defiant's replacement will be. My personal choice would be a Land Rover Defender but there are a couple things against that. First, being a luxury SUV the Defender would highlight Ritch's wealth. Than other than "Lightening" the family favors American built cars so I am thinking Defiant's more rugged younger brother ... the Jeep Gladiator. The Gladiator starts at around $33k in the range of most pickups so it's not as ostentatious. There's room for passengers and gear important since Ritch likes taking friends along on his adventures. It can handle the snow and offroad conditions should camping or other outdoorsy excursions arise. And they are a Jeep family.
We're having soup. I had made a bean soup with smoked pork chop and collards after New Years and froze half. Today is a chilly wet day. Temp has been flucuating between 39/4° and 41/5° and it's rained steadily most of the day. Perfect for soup.
