Thanks y'all. It's been a dreary rainy day but mum, the pup and I ran some errands to get a few things together to take back with us. We'll be back on the road by late morning. Before that though we're having dinner this evening with my son and daughter-in-law.

Y'all, from Mum, Thistle and me. May you find it blessed and joyous. We arrived safely in PA and spent the evening with my stepsis and her family. We'll return there for a meal of pork 'n sauerkraut this afternoon.

I wish y'all a Blessed and Joyous New Year. Mum and I made the first part of the trip safely. Shortly we'll head out for PA with a short side trip along the way to visit a good friend who moved from SC to WV last fall.

Oh how I remember that desire to just pull the covers over my head and sink into the oblivion of Morpheus' embrace ... While this is not an easy read it is unsurprisingly, extremely well crafted. I must admit I don't really like any of these people. None of them appear in flattering light. There remain too many questions that need answering. The numerous interactions hint at far more complex issues than one person's grief and depression. I will do my best to reserve judgement until you've taken us further into this story.

G'day y'all. It remains warm, 65/18° and overcast here. Rain is forecast for later today but particularly tomorrow when a cold front is due to pass through. Mum and I will be leaving late morning tomorrow for a whirlwind visit to PA. We spend Monday night in a motel at the halfway point in Roanoke Rapids, NC. Tuesday we'll complete the trip with a quick side trip to visit a friend who moved from here to WV to be nearer her family. We'll spend New Year's Eve and day in Scotland ... uhm, that would be Scotland, PA. That's where my youngest stepsister and her family live. Then on Thursday we'll travel to my home area. We stay there Thursday and Friday nights for visits with my stepbrother, also my dad and my son and dil for my bday before starting home again Saturday morning. We'll spend Saturday night in NC before getting back to SC on Sunday afternoon. The motels have wifi but not sure if I'll get much opportunity to touch base while on the road so might be missing for a bit. Blessed be.
