G'day y'all. Warm, 70/21° and wet here. Mum's currently napping on the loveseat. I'm a bit worried about her. She chose to skip church this morning. She's been extremely tired the last few days. She says it's because beginning the week before Christmas we've been busy plus our trip North was tiring. She tires much more quickly now than she did a year ago. I think the heart attack this summer was more debilitating than she admits. I leave tomorrow morning on the train to Philadelphia and don't get back to SC until Wednesday evening. I don't like leaving her alone. Thistle loves her but he isn't much help other than cuddling.

I enjoy watching ice skaters, it's lovely the way they glide and swirl. It's just not for me. Ballet is lovely too. Don't do that either.

Mum has three. One of them has just sent out a new flower stalk.

Yeah I'm hoping for new tires ... on my replacement car. Just glad I hadn't spent the money for new ones in November. The dealer back home suggested it was getting close to time to replace them. I chose to wait because I thought it was too soon. The Claims Service rep said it was a silly question but she had to ask me if I had any interest in keeping my car. Just waiting to hear how much I'll get for it before I begin shopping.

I so wish I could get my hands on good Cuban food. It just isn't part of PA Dutch cuisine or Lowcountry SC. Separate beds, separate rooms these two are getting to know one another and becoming friends before all else.

G'day y'all. It's warm here, 55/12° and overcast. That's about right for the average high temp this time of year. I'm due to travel on the train to Philly on Monday for an appt with my doc on Tuesday morning. I'll catch a train back to SC on Wednesday morning.
