  1. It's okay really, thanks. Just a case of knowing she's not here. Life was difficult for her. Mum and I have come to the conclusion that she was transgender but had no way of indentfying herself thus. She often said she felt as if there was a hole inside where something was missing. As a result she resorted to drugs and alcohol to ease that loss. Unfortunately, alcholism is present on both sides of our genetic tree, a great-grandfather in the male line on each side. Jaki struggled but managed to live clean for roughly 20 years before she died. Though her death is unexplained there were no drugs or alchol in her bloodstream at the autopsy.
  2. It's all those boneless chickens I feel sorry for ...
  3. Greetings Albert you too Marty. I am passable fair thanks. Today would have been my sister's 55th birthday. She's been gone just over 15 years now. Not sure why but this year it bothers me.
  4. Mum is the same. She loves cheese.
  5. Apparently I missed this announcement earlier ... Congratulations northie. Very happy for you, well deserved.
  6. Yeah, I have that adorable boy. We're currently sprawled together on a blanket in the shade enjoying the afternoon.
  7. I prefer freezing them, and I prefer yellow wax beans to green beans. Actually, I freeze any veggies I put up for winter except red beets. Those I pickle.
  8. I want someone to kiss too ...
  9. Wait! I've got some too. I'll just toss it in with yours.
  10. Have you not noticed that your arm attaches to the rest of your body at the shoulder? Of course it's involved all the suspension connections for your arm are there.
  11. It's a bit warmer and more humid today but still comfortable in the shade. There's a bit of a breeze. Thistle is sprawled in the grass napping. I think I'll lower the backrest on my chair and nap too. My head aches. Blessed be y'all.
  12. I usually treat myself to a glass when I go there on Sunday mornings. OJ is on the occassional treat list as it has things in it that are not kidney friendly if consumed daily. Same with grapefruit but interestingly lemons and limes are fine.
  13. Greetings Albert. It was very tasty. The place we ate smokes their own bacons. They have a couple varities, including Irish. I had two eggs over easy, homefries (fried in bacon fat), the house bacon and rye toast. They serve fresh squeezed oj but I passed on that today. Dad was treating and the oj is $5 a glass. It's a large glass but a bit steep on someoneesle's dime.
  14. You were going to bits 'n pieces and didn't know. Fortunately, you fell off a chair not a wall so they can put you mostly back together again.
  15. Perhaps a bit less rubbing and tugging would have proved less wear 'n tear on the shirt.
  16. G'day y'all. Off to walk the pup. Then brekkie with my dad.
  17. Do you seriously think anyone is gonna believe that? Even your herd knows better.
  18. Howdy. Glad y'all made it home safe.

    Chapter 7

Does it end here or is there another part to come?
  20. True and it's not his dominant shoulder so ...
  21. Well, I've closed up the house and turned the ac back on. The humidity is creepy back and it's to be warm/hot this weekend. So before the house becomes too warm and with nightfall coming the unit doesn't have to work quite so hard.
  22. He's lovely.
  23. I'm still waiting for the maître d'hôtel to seat me.
  24. I'm sorry you're sore but very pleased at the progress you're making. I know you would like to be further along but being on schedule is acceptable. Perhaps things will improve more quickly at a later stage. Your healing process is like exceptionally great sex, surely you can remember what that was like, it takes time and effort but the results are well worth it. Now go moan and groan yourself into a happy place ...
  25. It's not just his lightning ...
