  1. Greetings Albert. I'm fair to middlin' thank you. We had a busy morning. Mum pulled weeds while I cut and hauled some brush and mowed. At noon we decided we'd accomplished enough for the day. Mum's knees are a bit achey and my head is too. Now we're resting in the shade enjoying the breeze and the ringing of the wind chimes. Hope all is well with you and Steve.
  2. I think he's a bit overdressed for weather we're having. I'll gladly help him get more comfortable.
  3. G'day y'all. Bit of a warm up with today's weather and potential t-storms later.
  4. I'm very saddened to hear this.
  5. G'day y'all. The weather today was lovely. High temp of 72/22° with low humidity. The pup and I had an early morning walk then home for brekkie and the three of us were off to run errands. This evening we're taking son and dil out for dinner to celebrate his birthday. He's 38 today and chose a hibachi place to eat.
  6. Just look for the naked Irish lad at the end of the rainbow. Truly is a lovely photogragh. That guy Trusty Nikon does very nice work.
  7. Oh, so she's keeping him busy so he doesn't pester you for attention.
  8. Are these the guys Val requested in order to forgive you?
  9. Unlike what seems to be disappearing from them top of my head. This is only the third time in 38 years I haven't had a beard. You can see my chin dimple.
  10. With my height your weight would make me appear emaciated. But yes, I wouldn't mind losing a few pounds.
  11. So my doc wants to change my med to another one of the antibodies as the Aimovig hasn't made enough of an improvement. I have an appointment to go back in three weeks. Got my haircut and a beard trim while I was in Philly. Same place as when I was there for the doctor visit in February but a different barber. I will not be going back. He cut my hair much shorter than I requested and my beard, well I don't have a beard. Instead of a trim he restyled it. I keep a natural cheek line. He shaved my cheeks at an angle that made them look like mutton chops attached to a goatee. Worse, he didn't even do them evenly. On the left it came down below my bottom lip, on the right it was even with my top lip. He shaved away the upper 1/4 inch of my mustache and trimmed what remained an 1/8 of an inch above my top lip line and it was unbalanced from one side to the other. To add injury to insult I have a 3/8 inch cut on my right cheek. The unfortunate thing is I couldn't tell how off it was looking in the mirror as it was a good six feet from the chair so I left the shop thinking things were okay. I didn't know he cut me until someone on the train told me my cheek was bleeding. When I got to my car and looked in the rearview mirror I thought things looked odd. When I got home and looked in the bathroom mirror I was ... displeased. I finally took my beard trimmer and clipped what remained down to scruff. Fortunately, I have 11 days for it to grow in again before the wedding next Friday and another week before Celtic Fling at Mt Hope.
  12. I think you meant buried by a landslide.
  13. Is that with rocks in both front pockets?
  14. You're right that statement is fake news.
  15. Howdy Texy. Well of course she did ... and your tales are now taller than you are.
  16. Poor lad has cold nipples ...
  17. G'day y'all. A cold front passed through last night with only minor storms. As a result it is much cooler and less humid. I have an appointment with my doc in Philly this morning. Routine follow-up to see how I'm doing on the Aimovig. Afterwards I'm taking myself to lunch and getting a haircut ... well actually I'm having them all cut. Need to catch the 7:27 train so it's time to go shower.
  18. Hi Randy. I'm saddened to hear this and will pray for all of you.
  19. Uhm, Val? Neither of those guys is blonde or blue-eyed. Trust me I would have noticed those little details.
  20. On his lap of course.
  21. Good friend of yours this Trusty Nikon fella? That's not a particularly Irish moniker. Emigre perhaps?
  22. Oh look! It's that invisible naked Irish lad back for another visit. Lovely photo Marty.
  23. My heart sighs with my brother's for I suspect I know the inspiration behind this lovely tribute to a time and a place. My heart sings as I remember a certain brother's joy at finding love. My heart smiles in contentment that my brother knows peace in his heart. Namasté my brother may all be well with you.
  24. G'day y'all. Foggy and cool this morning. Storms during the night. Heavier ones due in a couple of hours as a cold front passes through. Unseasonable chill weather predicted for the next couple of days. Need to buy mum a sweatshirt.
