OK, Dom....I have the biggest lump in my throat right now. I feel so happy for Rory and I feel so sad for him at the same time. I think tht all my life, I've wondered what my mom's voice sounded like, and reading the part about the CD made me feel so good for Rory. All of his memories were so sweet, and her wish list made me cry. This chapter was awesome because it didn't need a cliffhanger, or a bunch of romance. Of course, the scene by the pool was great, and Im glad that Seth got to be in the chapter, and that he got to be there for Rory at the end, when they sang happy birthday to him........BTW, Im still convinced that one of those CD's is an Al Stewart CD that she confinscated.

This afternoon when I got home from school I was soooooo hungry, so I opened the refridgerator and looked inside to see what there was to eat. I found some leftover steaks from last night so I had my stepmom heat two of them up for me. I don't know if it was because she heated them up wrong, or because she didn't add enough salt to them, but when I took my first bite, I didn't bother chewing because I was so hungry, and I got a huge chunk of unchewed steak stuck in my throat, making it hard for me to breathe and impossible to swallow anything. So for about 30 minutes, I did everything I could to try to make it come out. Everytime I tried to drink water or rootbeer to force it down, I had to hurry and run to the bathroom and gag it all up because it never made it past the steak. Finally, I got sick of choking on it and took matters into my own hands......I stood over the toilet and shoved my finger down my throat until I gagged the meat up.....it was brutal. Anyway, I looked in the mirror while I was brushing my teeth aftertward and I have all of these red splotches on my face from straining to gag and I look like a monster, or like a vistim of a mugging. I don't know what Im going to do about tomorrow at school......this really sucks, but it still gets worse...... My dad freaked out when he got home and found out about it and wanted to take me to the emergency room even though I already got the meat unstuck and was fine. He saw all of the splotches on my face and tried to say I was bleeding internally and he needed to get me to the hospital..lol...luckily, my stepmom told him he was being paranoid and to leave me alone. So at dinner time me and taylor come downstairs to eat and he's standing at the breakfast island cutting my meat up for me!!!! I was sooooo humiliated, but I wasn't too shocked. Earlier I was chatting online with someone and I told him that my dad would try to cut up my meat for me from now on...lol.......so now I just have to wait for him to calm down about this and let me cut my own meat up Nick

I can't even remember the last time we went to Blockbuster.....we go to Movie Gallery because I can buy Ice Cream when we go there I guess i should sit down and work on chapter 41 of my story but I haven't really had any time...I have way too much homework to do.....anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I really love DD....it's always been my favorite of all of your stories, and it was worth waiting almost six months between chapter 8 and chapter 9 because it's better than ever, even if Luke and Grandma Alice don't end up hooking up. Ok, first, let me start off by saying...... YAY!!!!!!!!!! I knew it was going to be Seth and Rory the whole time!!!! Im sooooo excited for them!!!!! (jumps up and down gayly) Ok, now on to the rest of the chapter.........we haven't seen the last of Aaron(tls). I know for sure Im going to get flamed for this, but I wonder if Lukes secret crush isn't Aaron.....he said it would be someone who's not interested, and he seemed happy that Aarons two last bf's are hooking up(Seth and Rory...yay!!!). Of course he thinks that Aarons not interseted after he stole a car and tried to make it out to be Lukes idea. But maybe there's still hope for them, especially since I have a really bad feeling about Grandma Alice's health.....maybe she has alzhiemers or something (I hope not). If she did, there's no way she would tell Rory about it before she told Eddie about it. Things are definitely looking bad right now for Luke and Grandma Alice. As far as the package goes, I don't think an Al Stewarts Greatest Hits CD featuring the smash hit Year of the Cat is going to answer all of Rory's questions, but it will provide endless hours of listening pleasure .

I dont think you're a lunatic after reading your post, Tim the slut. I said a few chapters ago that Luke and Aaron might hook back up, but I think that thier best chance (at the party) is gone. Aarons only hope of getting Luke back now is to fist fight Grandma Alice at the park, and I don't like his chances

And as for Luke, I think you'd feel differently if we threw Grandma Alice in the mix. I'm pretty sure that's the first time I've ever seen someone quote themselves and agree. I agree with that, too

Im glad to see Rory getting around and doing what he wants with who he wants......what's so bad about that??? Besides, who says that being with 2 guys is whoring....personally, I'd like to see a scene where Rory hooks up with a few guys in one night at one time....that would rule!!!!
