I didn't have to cut it, but I had to use a hair mask for a while and it looked really rough for months until it all grew out.

I used to dye my hair pink and purple and blue but it sometimes requires bleaching and that can really mess up your hair if you do it too often.

As a cat person, yeah, this checks out. Once I was reading The Shining, which is a book about a haunted hotel, at night (because of course) and my cat upstairs ended up climbing on top of my armoire, then jumped off so that he landed on the floor with a huge "THUMP" right above my head. Honestly, I didn't come to GA under the best of circumstances. I had been writing on some smaller sites and someone on GA plagiarized my Not The Sun series and Hurricane Lamps. The admin staff handled it excellently: banned the asshole, informed me, and invited me over. I liked it here better. I stayed because this is a site where it was easier to interact, not with only readers, but other writers as well, which was huge to me. I like to read, but also like seeing the discussion in the forums, the comments section, the reviews. I like hearing from other writers how they come up with stories, their processes, their thoughts as they craft stories, etc. It's very motivating. I also really like the contests and anthologies. While I can't participate in every single one, the ones I have done have steered me into writing things that I normally would not have considered on my own, which is really cool as well. This feels like a community, more than just a website to read fiction.

The group of six headed out from The Wandering Soul right as the sun was starting to rise. Aleela is a great character, but she hasn't found the full possibility of her power...yet. Malik uses his power when he needs to, but he's a little gun-shy considering what happened the last time he showed it to someone he thought he could trust. As for the smut, if it was promised, it shall be delivered. Good things come to those who wait. Are--are you threatening me with fan fiction?
