Please feel free to yell, because I did do all those things, and I probably deserve it. My own beta reader warned me to tone it down. (I didn't).
I appreciate the compliment, because it encapsulates what I was trying to do. I'll have to check out @vlista20.
I appreciate you reading and all the comments!
That is quite the analogy. I'll have to keep this one in mind!
Keith is...whew. He's something else. You'll have fun in the next chapter.

We get plenty of them down here in the South, especially in the summer. They come out around dusk and are kinda magical looking. As a child, I would catch them and peer into the cup of my hands to watch it light up, then release it.
It was fun and cool to write about mental abilities this way, I'm glad you liked it.

Leia's not a ghost, and that's all I'm willing to say at this point.
I love Nikki and Dalaja. When I look back at this story, I remember how much fun it was to write them. Thanks for reading and commenting!
The in-between is...the in-between. She had a strong bond with Brandon, and he is the only one she can reach right now from the place she is.
I'm sorry you don't like Jordan, though you don't have to. I disagree that he's "too perfect"...he has his issues, but he is more mature than Brandon and has to be, in some cases.
I'm glad you enjoy the story and thanks for commenting!
Brandon is struggling and has a history of not making good decisions when in a dark place, so yeah, he needs Jordan right now.
Alexis has feelings for Brandon...I think it's natural for someone you have been close to for a long time, to have those feelings deepen into something more. I think her grief pushed her to make her feelings known, but that they are genuine.
You'll have to keep on reading for Leia!

Brandon is going through a really hard time right now. But Jordan is ready to be there for him.
I think Chapter 7 is the first POV shift to Jordan's perspective. I tried really hard to keep it balanced, but Brandon is a louder character, so it's probably a bit more from his POV than Jordans.

So I should contact Netflix and Tim Burton, then? . I think I'm the only person on the planet that hasn't seen a single episode of Wednesday, but based on how crazy popular it is, I'm very flattered. Thanks for commenting!
My 8 year old black cat still gets the midnight zoomies...I sometimes can hear him racing up the stairs, turning on the landing and then racing back down.
