    Sounds familiar. Last winter we were trying to organize my aunt's memorial service, but bad weather kept getting in the way and we had to keep rescheduling. Hope things calm down for you soon.

    Apparently they are already setting some fireworks off around here. It's pretty far out, but the sound of them reminds me of the cats when they puke, so I tore around the house a little bit before I figured it out.

    The balance that you metioned in the first part of this comment is a fine line. I hate stories that are just heaps of never ending misery, but I also want the characters to feel just a bit of Brandon's pain, so that comment really means a lot to me, thank you. Brandon's sexuality is complicated, less because he is gay but more along him discovering and exploring this part of himself during an extremely unhealthy relationship. Poor Jordan is just confused as hell, lol. Thanks for commenting!

    I'm honestly proud that I didn't have the main characters kiss until 6 chapters in. . There's still a lot for Brandon especially to work though before fully opening up though. Thanks for commenting.

    Mine's been house related. Lost power Friday night and it was too cold so I packed up the kitties and went to Mom and Dad's. Came back when the power was restored, dropped the kitties back off and locked Houdini in the basement because he was fighting. Went to my parent's for Christmas Eve and got a call from my neighbors Christmas morning because water was coming out of my garage. Turns out a pipe busted and my house flooded. Turned off the water and suctioned most of the water out. Now I have my sisters stomach bug, no running water and plumber not coming in until 10.
