  1. Thank you Daddy. I think this story turned out fairly well. Glad you enjoyed it.
  2. I am glad you enjoyed it. With all the issues the cruise ships have been dealing with, I felt it was something people would be able to read and accept. I am happy you didn't go with the sex change idea.
  3. Well sometimes people do what they think is the right thing, but for all the wrong reasons. Cancer is one thing I have had to deal with and seen it take loved ones and close friends in months. And as for the cruise ship, well I will do my research on them online and skip the boat. Three down in a month doesn't make me want to go one.
  4. Thank you Bill. I know for a fact anything sent to your old address will be forwarded for a year. So to me that just made perfect sense and was an easy way to do it.
  5. Well Lilansul you do know how to make me blush. I am glad that the story resonated with you. My editor/beta has told me that this is her favorite story of mine. I always like to do a full arc if I can with a character. I don't leave it with a perfectly happy ending, but with one I think works well for this story. Thank you so much for reading and for the comment. You are too kind.
  6. Thank you Percy. I always try to do something different each time I approach the Anthologies. I am just glad this one seems to have been more of a hit than a miss.

  9. Thank you Carrington. I never know where an idea will take me. I take credit and share the blame on this one with Carl DiVinci. I was bouncing ideas and he liked this one. Then I had to make it all work.
  10. Thank you Dolores. I am glad you enjoyed my story.
  11. Thanks Rob. Life isn't always a straight forward trip. I've lost more than my fair share of people to one version of Cancer or another. It leaves more scars than most people would be ready to admit to. Thanks for the kind words.
  12. Lou, Thank you for an honest read and commentary. I like knowing when I have gotten a story right. Once I knew what I wanted I worked hard to make sure it had a ring of truth to it. When people get sick they aren't always rational. Who is ever ready to face a mother's wrath, no matter what age they might be. Wayne
  13. Managed to finish them all. Very imaginative crop this time around. So worth the read. Just need a heck of a lot more likes.

    Author's Note

Well you gave them every possible ending, from gut wrenching to heart warming. Nicely done. Hopes this means we will be seeing you more often as a contributor.

    Two

Well we know there is an abusive boyfriend, a missing mother, and Sage carries lots of scars, only some of which are physical. On to the next chapter.

    One

Unfinished business, six hours, and Callen is already dead. You do know how to capture an audience.
  17. You leave your characters open to interpretation. Is it the night and the sun, devil and angel, a god and a human, or life drawn to death? Your imagery is simply stunning. Very nice job.

    Chapter 1

Life isn't perfect and you don't always get a happy ending. Adam was an incredible man and you handled both Eli's illness and Adam's death very well. Can't wait to read your next work.

    Chapter 1

Nothing like a ghost story with one sexy little ghost who melts away come morning. Great story and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

    Chapter 1

An evening as the Angel of Death? Not exactly what I expected, but boy was that a good read. Nicely handled Andy.
  21. I have to reread my synopsis then. Geez. I blame this on Carl. I was bouncing ideas around and said what would happen if you were trapped on a boat with your ex's mother. He loved the idea and then I just had to figure out how and why they ended up there. Glad you enjoyed it.
  22. Thank you. Yeah, I figured there would be either a lot of date night or coming out tales, so I didn't want to go in that direction. Glad you ended up liking it Slytherin.
  23. Never once did it enter my head that Teddy and his mother were the same or that there would be a sex change. It is just that I am a people watcher. Children pick up cues from their parents, ways of moving or standing. So there have been times when I have dealt with a young adult and then met their parent, and while they might not look alike, I have been able to put them together because of their actions. Glad you enjoyed the story though Jo. I was worried about this one.

    Chapter 1

You took him through a full arc of finding out who he was and finding true love. It might be odd to still see John as a part of his life, but for him it was such a necessary part. This was a very heart warming tale. Thanks for sharing it Mann.
