Thanks Cole. I never know where the prompts will take me. Just sort of struck me as I looked at my rather large collection of movies. -

I'm glad you are enjoying Jonas. This story has been one I have wanted to tell but my own life keeps getting in the way. Jonas has had moments where he might have found someone, but mostly it has just been friends. Of course now he is going to have to face Opie's choice for him.

I never like to leave major threads unanswered and I am never a big fan of throw away characters in my stories. The major concerns will be answered before the end. I promise.

Tim, I love my fantasy but Opie is bringing in new people from across many worlds. He is out to bring back magic to the world. That means someone a little magical for Jonas. Wait and see.

I always feel that even in a fantasy story you still need to ground the characters. People need to eat, love, sleep and these are the things that help us get involved in their lives. Glad you are still enjoying it Robert. Thanks for commenting.

Well Jonas has had people he can rely on which is the good thing here. As for Opie, well all I can say is he made Fire and we all know what she is like. So one can only wonder about his ability to match people up.

Sometimes it is the family we make that is the most important. Jonas has been friends with Jenny a long time and as such was just sort of adopted. Mrs. Meyers is just a single mom doing the best she can with her children and their friends.

Well since Jonas came out he has had a rather interesting time. Now he is going to be seeing a lot of guests come through his special door. What sort of guests is yet to be seen. Thanks for the comment Valkyrie.

Opie is bring magic back to earth and that includes romance. Now we just have to see if his match making is better than Jenny's.

Poor Casey. A fire ends what little chance he had. I wonder what happened to his mother. You can tell she is in a fragile state as well. One parent in jail, the other about to have or just had a breakdown, his sister evidently not old enough to take Casey in, and now he is with CPS. All I can say is I hope Jessie and James can still come to his rescue. You have a great story going Russ. Can't wait for the rest.

Okay, I like James. I just hope he takes his friendship with Casey slow. Still worried about Casey's dad. A lot of blood, the knife, the cleaning up Casey did. The fact he is gone and so is the vehicle after two days has me worried and you know it just isn't going to be good. Can't wait to see where you take this.
