Well Maryann was born and instantly ended up with three sets of grandparents. Just going to take a bit of time to get everyone where they need to be.

The short story format is one I love. You don't have time for a lot of fluff or the giving lots of unnecessary information. You need to get in, give what it is necessary, and get out. I look at each chapter as its own story. Together they tell the tale of two brothers. Alone they are each a stand alone tale.

Um, Thanks. Nice to know I haven't been the only one to have issues with a review.

Dan finds out that there is more to some things in this world than meets the eye. Sometimes magic lays just below the surface and all it takes is a moment of incaution to turn his entire life upside down. Disney got it so wrong!

Hello there again everyone. Well, so far so good. Found more victims, errr, I mean more excited authors who wanted to attempt my crazy prompts. Considering it is Friday again, dear reader, I have new prompts for you. So without further ado, here are this week's prompts to tease and excite you. Prompt 250 – Creative Tag – First Line “Here we go again!” Prompt 251 – Creative Tag – They’re Real The night had been a total disaster. The blind date you had been set up on, threw up half way through the meal all over you. Now as you walk home there is a massive amount of noise coming from the street you need to take to get home. As you turn the corner you see something you never thought you would. Before you are two vampires, fangs and claws flashing as they fight each other, whose mere existence was something you never expected. As the claws slash and the blood flies, you realize they are real and they are moving ever closer to your location. What are you going to do? Last week we again had a few people who took up the gauntlet and took a shot at the prompts.Totally gave us a brand new fairy tale that left me thinking it was a cross between Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella, but with an all male cast. He took a shot at prompt 248 which read - yse the following words in a story: roses, rain storm, deer, cake, and chapel. Here is part of his take on it. There is a lot more to this story as well as a few other attempts at this one and they can be found here - http://www.gayauthors.org/forums/topic/37363-prompt-248-creative/ While no one took a shot at the other prompt, there was a new taker for the prompt 247 and can be read here - http://www.gayauthors.org/forums/topic/37327-prompt-247-creative/ So those are the prompts this week. Can't wait to see what people do with them. Till next time, read, review, and enjoy.

So the groundwork for everything is well laid here. Just waiting for the fireworks to start.
-
The bond between these two is strong right from the outset and a promise made like that, at such a young age is likely to be both a blessing and a curse. Can't wait to see where you take it all.

It has been a while so I had to reread this all. Nice prologue. Sets up the whole piece and immediately captures the attention of the reader.

Sometimes people forget their past, or hope to redeem it, but cause all new issues. Still plenty of things to happen with this little tale of mine. Glad you are enjoying it KC.
-
Yeah Lisa is going to make things rough on Neil. There are a few surprises up my sleeve yet. Glad you are enjoying this JoAnn.
-
Yeah that is what happens when you have issues with your computer. It was either leave just the y or delete KC's review which I would never do. Glad you love the story so far. There is more to come so hang on.

I just don't want people to think I have forgotten the story that is being posted. I have three more chapters already written. There are other issues with my team at the moment. One is having personal issues that take complete precedence over my story. I would have serious issues if she tried to do anything while she is dealing with them. I will be looking for someone to fill in part time until things settle down in her life. I do apologize, and I have not abandoned Life Changes. I simply ask for a little patience and I will attempt to get the story back on track, publishing more chapters a week till it is back where it should be. - Wayne

So dinner with Ash's oldest friends leads to a fight and Mike made to feel like an outsider. Mix in new friends (including JoAnn and Cassie) and now Tyler at the door and you have an uncomfortable and possibly explosive party. Cruel KC.

Thank you leshwar. Sometimes it is to craft the tale and sometimes it isn't. Glad it caught your attention.

I am glad you enjoyed it but that is exactly how I get into trouble. For now that is all.

I had been looking for a good bread pudding recipe. I've found one and have adapted it to suit my needs. I serve this both hot and cold. Bread Pudding 2 cups of whole milk or half and half. (If you like it really creamy do the half and half) 1/4 cup of butter 2/3 cup of brown sugar 3 eggs 2 teaspoons of cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon of ground nutmeg 1 teaspoon of vanilla 3 cups of bread. ( I prefer to use french bread that I cut up into cubes and dry out the night before) 1/2 cup of raisins (I have also substituted a cup of cubed peach slices or done peaches and raisins. Even done a cup of blueberries. Up to you) Steps 1) In a medium saucepan, over medium heat, heat the milk (or half and half) just until a film forms over the top. Combine the butter and milk, stirring until butter is completely melted. Cool mixture till it is lukewarm. 2) Combine sugar, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. Beat with and electric mixer at medium speed for about one minute. Slowly add the milk to the mixture. Preheat oven to 350. 3) Place the bread in a lightly greased 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. 4) Sprinkle in raisins. Pour mixture over bread and allow to sit for five to ten minutes. Stir any pieces that might be dry so everything is equally wet and ready. 5) Place casserole dish into the oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until set. 6) Can serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream or cold.

No, no, no. No more ongoing stories. I have one now and a few working on behind the scenes. This is a prompt. Glad you enjoyed, but no more ongoing. I think.

Sorry so late Tom. Hope your day was a great one.

A Very Happy Belated Birthday Hope your day was a great one.

Sivana stood looking over the ruined chapel. The stones had been blown out in spots and vines had already begun to make their way into the chapel. The back wall was totally missing as was every pane of glass. “I knew it would be bad, but this is going to take a lot of work.” Aren shrugged his shoulders and stared at her. Sivana carefully made her way back to Aren where he stood holding the reins of their horses. “You could have warned me that was going to be a mess.” She stared angrily up at

Ah it is that time of the week again, and no I don't mean bath time. Friday is once again upon us and I get to see who will take the bait, I mean, take the opportunity to write a new story based off the prompts. Let me see who can be tempted. Prompt 248 – Creative Tag – List of Words Use the following words in a story: roses, rain storm, deer, cake, and chapel. Prompt 249 – Creative Tag – Shifter You have fallen in love and everything seems perfect. Your father sees you, seems to smell the air, and immediately sits you down. As he begins his talk about the birds and the bees and having sex, he also mentions that you aren’t a normal human being, but a shifter and a very special one at that. In fact, when you shift, the person you are with at the time is who you will mate with for life and they will be granted very special abilities. That is, if they too are a shifter. Does this alter your planned night with your love or not? Looking back at last week, there were a few people who once again took the plunge and wrote out some interesting stories based off the prompts. However I am a sucker for when someone personifies an action in a story. Myiege did just that by bringing the idea of death to life in her story. The original prompt read as follows - You have been found to have a very rare heart condition. You have been informed that you must stay calm and on very strong medication to keep your heart rate down. There are many restrictions on what you can or can’t do, but there is one that you can’t abide by. You have been told that if you have sex, even once, it will kill you and be the end. Do you stay safe or decide sex is worth the end? Intrigued? Want to read more? Of course you do. You can see both of her responses to the topic here - http://www.gayauthors.org/forums/topic/37327-prompt-247-creative/ The other prompt also got some attention and can be found here - http://www.gayauthors.org/forums/topic/37326-prompt-246-creative/ So, did either of this week's prompts appeal to you? If so why not write a tale and share it on the prompt page. Maybe these didn't but one of the other 249 other prompts did, so give one of them a try. In the meantime remember to keep writing, reviewing, and enjoying all the site has to offer. Till next week, have fun one and all.

“Now why on earth would I do that?” I looked thunderstruck at Harry. “Don’t you want to go to the gay pride parade with me?” I looked at the shirts Harry wanted us to wear and shook my head. “You know I just came out, but I’m not ready to wear that anywhere.” Harry laughed and picked up one of the matching shirts. It was neon pink and read “My boyfriend wants me” on the front and “Again” on the back. “I thought they were cute.” “You are crazy.” I pushed him and laughed. “Besides your mothe

The heartache of the gay man falling for the bi man. The scene had everything I would expect from you. Still waiting for the other shoe to fall and the case to begin. Let the complications begin. Boy am I getting cynical. I like so many others loved Mike's line,I just hope he meant it.
