I am a sucker for myths and fairy tales. Considering how the Romans took in nearly any type of god or goddess, I couldn't see why the world wouldn't just have all these various pantheons dealing with each other. Glad you enjoyed my story, Dyno. It means a lot to have people comment on them.

I wanted to go in what I had hoped would be a different direction than most. I wanted to comment on the storms and horrible things seen going on everywhere in the world. I figured I would use the myths to help highlight what was happening. Glad you enjoyed it Valkyrie71.

Wow. Six months of rain and single to boot? Normally I'd say that was one hell of a dry spell, but it seems he was wet and sure as hell not having fun. I liked the story.

I guess I am curious as to where you plan to take it. As for your POV question, well I think a look at the Miah through Moshe's eyes might be fun. Well that was a completely fresh take on the theme. I really liked that Bill. Nature really does have a terrible wrath, doesn't he. Nice story. Glad to see the little guy get even with his bullies.

I like the whole support and slow reveal of David. I just wonder if his father did the knife wound why did David's friends think Robert was going to attack him. It wasn't like the wound was from an older lover. It was the only real quibble I had with a very nice story.

Yeah. I am glad to see the other side of this story. I was so pissed with the way it ended last time I wanted to smack Sam for going back to Mark. Now we know that he didn't. I really liked this so much. Great job!

Ren makes for an interesting character. It is nice to see that any child after the heir and the spare aren't just there to fill space. I like the Ranger and how he is trained to work. Your creation of this world is nice. I felt right at home here. Feng is different. I'm surprised at how he seems to accept what has happened, his injury, and how he and Ren will be spending part of their winter together. Hope to see you expand this.

Well two chapters in now. I hope people like it. Not getting much in the way of comments.

March is a rough month. That sounds odd I know, but I will explain. Growing up the month of March was something my family knew would be busy and fun. March held two big events for my family - my mother's birthday and my parent's anniversary. These things were something that my family knew would start and finish major events. Today is March 10th and my mother would have been 74 today. My father and I have sort of avoided talking about it because neither of us wants to break down again. It is amazing how you become use to someone just being there day in and out, until they aren't. Time passes, it eases a bit, but certain days or events will drive it home again. I think a part of the problem is I am alone so I can't confide and turn to my own partner to share things with. I am the rock others turn to. Their anniversary is in a few days. In between I know we will take a trip out to the national cemetery to lay flowers on her grave. Their time to celebrate always ended with St. Patrick's Day. It is usually why I am quick to send all my friends cards for that. Unfortunately this year I have had a hard time just keeping up period when it comes to events. I have been focused on my writing and trying to keep myself from saying or doing things wrong. Seems I have upset some people, but didn't realize it. So just taking some time to myself and sorry if I am being a bit standoffish. Just dealing with things the best I can. Even as I write this I have someone asking that I help them with something they are going through, and I find I can't tell them no. Eventually, I will have to find someone I can lean on, or else I am going to fall apart one day and doubt the pieces will be put back together.
