K.C. Grim is my real name. It never occurred to me to make up a screen name. LOL 😜 Nobody ever calls me by my full name anyway, I've just always used my initials K.C. I don't think I've heard anyone call me by my full name since my Mom passed away.

Thanks guys! It's been like watching a car crash in slow motion. Our daughter and her boyfriend both got it too, but recovered really quick with no lasting effects. We were blessed that my hubby never got it even with all 4 of us in the same house!

I swear if I hear one more person say that COVID is just the Flu, I might knock their teeth out! I’ve had the Flu many times in my 47 years on this Earth and I this is NOTHING like the Flu. I caught it 4 months ago. It was a brutal 10 days of high fevers, awful cough, chest/lung pain, whole body aches, ear infection, lose smell and taste, I even passed out a few times… I really thought I was going to die! Mine was a heavy viral load, so I kept testing positive for 6 weeks. (Needed 2 negatives to return to work) Now, 4 months later, I have long hauler symptoms: Heart palpitations feels like my chest will explode Lingering cough that is so bad that I can’t breath Headaches and Body aches My left eye randomly dilates open several times a day making it impossible to focus. Blood clotting problems After 2 months of No smell/taste…now I have phantom smell/taste were everything is a forest fire. It smells and tastes like pure smoke. It’s so overwhelming, I feel like I’m choking from smoke inhalation. The plus side, I have extremely high natural antibodies so I’m not required to take the Vaccine… yet. The minus side, I feel like shit! I was scheduled to have my hip replaced back in the fall, but that got rescheduled for the spring. I returned to work late November, but every day is a struggle. Last week they did an MRI for the headaches, my eye, and smell/taste. Next week they are testing for heart and lung damage. End Rant ((This is my personal COVID journey. If you got it and didn’t get sick or have no lingering effects, good for you!))
