Hey Scotty and welcome to GA, I've been here a few years now, and met my fella here too. My second home. I love animals all of them. I have pigs, chickens, a dog two champion cats 2 soon to be champion kittens and an old mousing moggie. From time to time I rescue wildlife too, I have a bluebell wood with a badger sett and a fox's den, plus various birds, I get the odd ducks on my ponds too. Animals are a part of this planet, they have as much right to be here as we do. I respect and love them for what they are.

I've lost a few animals over the years, never easy, always painful. I feel for you W_L I really do

Good to see you I have never looked back, after taking the decision to study online. I cannot praise enough the Open University, it's global, available to everyone, no previous qualifications needed, and all the help you could every wish for, to study, be motivated and any thing practical and financial too. After never doing an essay in my life, I have 4 assignments under my belt, the first 3 were all B's. I'm awaiting the fourth. And I have another course that has already started, its all about Humanities with a creative writing pathway, and the subjects are wide and varied. I'm doing Pompeii this week, fascinating.

I know he doesn't get here often enough now, but I hope you will all join me and say: Happy 21ST Birthday Stuby Love you so much my baby, now and always

Good to hear Layla Kids bring out some pearls sometimes. Lukey's girls (age 9 and 10) said to me "why can't you love a man? You do intrigue me sometimes Roberto Most of the people I don't care for are the one's that say they are animal lovers and are definately the opposite, I'm very much animal based and farming, I hate being told what to do and the laws concerning my meat (I mean my pigs ) are so long winded and just plum crazy, I find myself hating the whole country that governs those laws and it isn't Britain. I do have to say JMH that was a fascinating speech thank you for sharing, it makes you think, and thats what my opinion is about everything: Think First.

So sorry Layla, I get more emotional about animals too, they are all I had as friends growing up. Rabbits are notoriously nervous about anything and stress is the biggest factor, if mummy rabbit was young, maybe she didn't have the mummy instinct? That happened to my cat just recently, she gave birth without a clue what to do, and not everything is just instinct, she needed me to show her some things too. So don't blame yourself it might have happened anyway, giving mum a better home than the one she had is a much better focus. Also, have you considered having her spayed? its worth it in the long run, and if you do want more, go to your local rescue centre they are always overun with them and many other animals too. First of all thanks Breeze, me and Stuby are both very busy me with courses, and him with exams he's done 7 of 8 poor man, very stressful but we have night times to cuddle up via Skype Hi Bee, I just want to say, like anyone else would, that it takes time, and yeah you probably already know that. As for the car, nobody will blame you for feeling like you do, it must have been scary, I guess its's like when you fall of a horse all you can do is get back on it asap. Glad you're cutting yourself less, that is a good thing, I've stopped my self-harm thing altogether. Hi again Thorn We all have our own ways of dealing with stuff, I had a very different way of self-harm, but I no longer do it. I have too much else to do. Hi and welcome Thorne Wilde Welcome back Ashes good to see you around I'm hardly here these days, but it is so good to see this still going strong That is a really good story, I haven't seen anything like that before, and it's all very true, Until I started studying, one day would melt into the next and I didn't know or care what actual day it was. But, through studying, I have something to do every day, my head is full of what I am learning. I don't have the time to feel down as much as I used to. And every single day I have a fresh days studying to look forward to and I am loving every minute. With my baby everyday too Be happy people and hugs all round

Good going Jo and grandson, I don't know of this gay hate myself, apart from what I read, but Stuby has to hide who he is from grandparents, his parents are absolutely fine with it. I don't know why it matters, whether you're gay, straight or practice pumping up and down on a cucumber, you're still a person for fluffs sake.

Hey all Tim you know you can write me an email, I get those on my phone, when i'm away from the pc. I seem to be perminantly attached to it lately, doing two courses and needing good marks is taking all the time I have. But I answer all emails.

Hey Roberto my man, I don't have a clue what to say, I really don't. Things were so different for me, but, I can imagine the hurt you feel. I wish there was a cure all or something I could say that would anyway improve your situation, all I can say is sending you all the love in the world from me and Stuby and you know we are here, anytime man. Hi Maximoff, So sorry you haven't had a reply, usually there is someone about to answer. So many apologies. I can't say I relate in any way to what you are going through. Stuby is a third year chemistry student and I know the stress he's under. It hits us all in different ways, and we all have different ways of dealing with it. I do hope you find someone who can listen and understand, and perhaps point you to where you need to be. For myself, I'm just starting on a degree path, it's how I am dealing. My worst enemy is thinking, the less time I have to think, the less I dip down. So it works for me. As for the type of therapy, I can't help there much either. I have a shrink, he comes to me, because I don't go out from my property. It's just a case of sitting and chatting, he's talked to people that no me directly too. I'm also on meds, the third attempt, so waiting to see if they help. So sorry I'm not much help. Take care and good luck. Hugs all round
