I like these a lot! A dreamy meditation and free association that invites me to dance along, especially since I know some of the tunes (or they're very similar to ones I know), and to make up my own steps to the unfamiliar ones.
I think it depends on why you're telling people. We mostly tend to share those resolutions we're not sure we're capable of accomplishing or that somehow intimidate us or that we're unsure of, looking for support. However, if each time you tell someone, what's foremost in your mind is how you can't get it done or how difficult it will be, you're drilling in the wrong psychology.
I started college in 1981. First time away (well away) from home. I also did my obligatory stint in the Greek Navy in the 80s. So I've got mixed feelings about the whole decade. What I remember most about music is watching hours of MTV and buying vinyl 45s of the top 40 hits I liked. And this was my favorite video/anthem :
I've heard of it, but I never do it myself. I remember friends and family who've passed, I still smile at old memories, I turn to my photo albums time and again, but I've said my goodbyes. They had to move on, and so must I.

Happy Birthday, KC!
I left a cake for you under my bed, but it was still there this morning, so I ate it myself. You should maybe update your location though
I believe it happens.
Did I think it was love at that moment? No. On the other hand, I can't name the moment I KNEW it was love. So maybe the seed was there, that very first night, that very first look. I like to think so anyway.
