Lol, so you have at least one other personality?
Fact is, the joining of Diarmad doesn't work, if they do not love each other. Can you make yourself falling in love, so you can save someone from certain death?
Thank you, Peter!
I'm so glad you mention the quietness of the scene and that you liked it. Sometimes I fear I bore my readers to death with Noel's struggle and the many questions. You're right, he is chosen for his strength.
Thank you, Peter!
But he gets his PERFECT MATE! Or not...evil cackle here...
Maybe someone else we don't know yet will snatch him up? lol
Thank you, Puppi. There is much more to come, still I'm happy you all feel so much for Noel.
I'm so happy to read all those questions. It shows you can put yourself in Noel's position. For me as author that's a great feeling.
Noel is special, otherwise he wouldn't be who he is. It will be difficult for him, no doubt, though.
Seeing their loved ones die is the tragic of the Seraei and vampires per se, that's why I love to write vampire stories. To explore this tragic.
Thank you, Lit for sharing your thoughts.

Chapter Four – A Sleepless Night
Something was wrong. The warmth beside me was gone. I tried to see in the dark, held my breath so I would hear him better. Nothing. Where was he? We had gone to bed together, which had been rather awkward, to say the least. I had helped him to the bathroom and back, then I’d gone in and when I returned, he was reading a book. I had said I was tired and, after a while, I pretended to sleep.
Diarmad couldn’t have got up alone. He hadn’t eve
Imagine me sitting on the bus, holding my phone and murmuring your poem with a clogged up nose. I got very interesting reactions. One was 'that's sad', the other 'lesson learned'. Funny was, I thought the same. A not so little poem, Puppi. I like it very much.
The building of the characters in my stories is very important to me. I'm glad you like what I'm doing. I said it before, Kinney was suddenly there. Now I'll see what he can do. Thank you for the review, Cannd.
I'm happy to see you're checking out another of my stories. Sadly I am a slow writer, tweaking and fiddling with each chapter until I like it. It would have been better if I'd waited until the story was finished before posting it, but I just couldn't wait any longer, lol. So, I'm writing as fast as I can. Thank you, Coastguard.
Impatient much, are we? lol But yes, chapter three is half way done. Should be with you next week. Pushing is good, otherwise I get lazy. Thanks, Carlos!
'A very lifelike painting of a charitable organisation', I'm so glad your saying this. I did a lot of research and still fear I'll get it all wrong.
Hm...you don't expect me to answer this question, do you? To be honest, I don't know yet.
Kinney will get in the way all the time, now that he's here. He's one of those characters...
Thank you for your kind words, Peter. While I was answering to your comment, I had an idea for the story, lol. Thanks for that too.
It's always a good way to concentrate on the problems of others to get away from your own, so yes, maybe Elijah's Way will help Morgan. To your other question... Maybe? I'm the one without a cleat plot line, remember? lol
Thank you for reading and commenting, Parker!
This is what I meant when I said I don't know where this goes, Kinney was suddenly there, and I guess he will stay. Well, I suffered through a house tour some weeks ago...so many people. Now I know everyone who works there, and my readers know everyone who works for Elijah's Way.
Thank you for your comment, Z.
Ha, no! I need all the kudos I can get. They make me happy and motivate me. So,thank you, Parker! Newbie? I'm going to check out your story A to Z. I've been curious for a while.
This may sound funny, but I had a hard time writing this chapter. I was so sad, I had to stop a few times. Now, with some distance, I'm pleased how well it is received. Thank you, Parker, for your comment. It must be horrible to lose the love of your life.
Thank you, dughlas! Your review makes me feel ten feet tall. Yes, Auden's words do it every time for me, although I read somewhere they were meant to be a parody. That meaning is gone now.
Chapter 2
The cab crawled behind a large excavator, engulfed in a cloud of dust. When he wasn't cursing and slapping the wheel, the driver negotiated his way through our city leader’s latest cleanup project. Buildings with broken windows and graffiti would soon become upmarket condominiums, loft apartments, shops and restaurants - if I believed all those brightly colored sales hoardings around me.
In an attempt to re-urbanize the industrial park, the city had sold property for a nominal price.
Thank you, Def. I think that's an intriguing question. What affects the building of a person? Are we just a mix between outer influences? If we think about those influences, knew them, would we fight them? I don't want to be affected by him, her, this? Would it be bad, if Luis and Tristan influence him? If he decides he like Diarmad, does this automatically mean it isn't by his own free will? Ha, you made me think about my own story, lol.
