The possession of open containers of alcohol and drinking in public (street, park etc.) is legal for people of the legal drinking age (16 for beer and wine; 18 for distilled spirits). Public drinking and public intoxication is socially acceptable and legal in Germany, unless I commit a crime. I could maybe dance in the streets naked, but it's too damn cold for that.

Noël is staying, for now. Learning that he made decisions of his own certainly helped. Simon has been human once, maybe he knew exactly what to say to convince him to stay. The fact that Tristan and Luis didn't have romantic feelings for Diarmad was another good point. Otherwise there would have always been doubts. Yes, it was close. It still is. Dughlas, I love 'triumvirate of souls'. It's perfect! I might even borrow it. Diarmad waited so long for his third mate, he is afraid of doing something wrong. Thank you, Peter! Simon has been human once, maybe he knows what Noël needed to hear. He is also completely honest, he admits he hated Noël. Someone like this could make a reliable friend. When I write about vampires, I always have this song in my head: Who Wants to Live Forever? This is why I always try to give them a mate, someone who stays with them over the long time, centuries even, they live. Noël's grandma has tried to explain everything. But you never think of every aspect. Noël keeps asking questions,Diarmad answers them, and then thinks of additional things Noël needs to know. It is a lot to take in. Thank you, Defiance for your compassionate comments! I'm glad you trust Noël to be able to handle this.

Well, it had to end some time. After living in relative safety for a while, being out there again is hard. On top of this getting sick is even harder. Right now he is without hope. A very sad chapter.
