  1. Day 29 Patience invites the impetuous to rest their head on a soft, fragrant pillow, and runs cool, soothing hands through their hair. Patience trickles life’s nectar on their tongue to savor. (the quality of patience) Day 30 A serious poet poets with sense, structures with rhymes, lines, meter, and stanza, improves the meaning of poems immense by using lots, lots of hot, hot... java. This spring poet was inspired by season, fueled by balm

Foolproofed Week 4 Day 22 Learning to swim in the Mediterranean Sea, sounds marvelous, slipping through your beloved, but too big, seahorse swim ring when touched by the first serious wave, seeing greenish water, foamed by air bubbles rushing by your wide-open eyes while you sink to the ground, is terrifying. Being pulled out by your shocked father, and wrapped into his strong, albeit damp arms, is exhilarating. The ensuing gelato with all the

Foolproofed-Week 3 Day 15 I was like the needle in a compass carried through the forest by an orienteer with a thumping heart, you, I pointed us firmly north, nothing deterred me on our way in the right direction, uneven ground, rivers, rocks and fallen trees, obstacles appearing out of nowhere, nothing. Then a pole shift happened. Now you lead us. Going South, somehow feels like going downhill. (Let’s start our poems today with a Trans

April fourteenth I stare wide eyed, a movie in my head. April fifteenth. Found it! I so love the imagery. April sixteenth. Hat tip. April seventeenth, a mathematical detour from bagel to arithmophobe (nice word BTW). What an arch, I'm impressed. April eighteenth. Very educational for the foreigner from distant lands. I had fun.

Week 2 Day 8 Lost... Fingers fly over piano keys easily, detecting small imperfections only by touch, running over hill and dale, wind in hair— STOP! Focusing on sense of lost might help treasure the previously mundane again, but it poisons the mind eventually. The operative word is achievement, Not even regain, only plain achievement. (The sense of being/having lost) Day 9 Today the mind can’t latch on a given theme, focus on a certain mood, an image, or a
