  1. Gah! I think, at first the pain caused by Coy's rejection resulted in Boone pushing away any thought of a future together. By reliving the hurt again and again, his opinion solidified. He isn't able to see Coy's side anymore: the threat to their life caused by a violent brother, how confusing a new view on his sexuality could be at first. It's painful to read, but a clean cut is necessary.
  2. I'm not sad. Well, a little. They have to work through this, because Boone thinks going separate ways is necessary to be able to get rid of a love that leads to nothing. I'm curious whether he can persuade the animals to go separate ways too. LOL Or, their love is a symbol for almost impossible love. I know, I know I'm a hopeless romantic sometimes.

This is why he is such a convincing character.

I'm just happy their honesty was rewarded buy the sheriff.
  5. Reading Boone struggling with himself what to do next is painful, the decision to leave Coy is not easy. It makes me sad.
  6. Taking down the tents is a good metaphor for facing some truth, not the truth yet, but it's always difficult with family.
  7. Yep. That's how I always thought a Western should sound and feel. Eager to click onwards.

    COVID is just the Flu!

With having had AML and due to it some other stuff, I live in constant panic to catch COVID. I can't wait to get the vaccine so I can have my life back. Seeing people protesting against the lockdown without wearing a mask it's difficult not to wish all kinds of bad upon them. I wish you all the best, K.C.
  10. I have to admit I have a slight obsession with her, because she made my niece sing I'm perfect
  11. Thank you! I had fun to read all your comments and thoughts.
  12. It took a lot of work, though. Very unruly the entire lot.

    The Teacup

I'm fascinated with your idea! The mender in me immediately began to sound out the possibilities to repair their relationship, but all I felt was a decided No! He left the teacup behind. It was a conscious decision, the relationship is beyond repair. On the other hand, your idea of a human aspect of kintsugi is inspiring. A broken relationship, leaves wounds. Do I want them mended without scars? Is this even possible? Or desirable? Should we accept the marks live leaves, maybe embrace them, emphasize them with gold powder? With all this in mind, I want to write a companion piece to The Teacup. Thank you, starboardtack, for your comment.
  14. B-but we didn't.

  20. Juggernaut always reminds me of The Blood Heroes I saw it way back when I was way too young for this kind of movies. It's probably a shitty film but I still dream of it sometimes.

    Kater and Pearl

I'm glad you liked it. My cats and dog belong to Christmas, even when it means unbreakable tree decoration, and collecting ornaments every morning to put them back on the tree..
