Brilliant Tim. I really enjoyed reading this. Reincarnation was a great way to explain how the fire extinguisher came to life. You also managed to include a gay theme, threw in some humour and picked your way carefully around a difficult topic. Home run, my friend!

Thanks for posting this @MrM I can't believe that I only caught up with this yesterday and you post a new chapter today! It's funny reading about the two boys both reluctantly dating girls and believing the other one's straight but secretly wanting each other. I bet this has happened quite a lot, not just in high school either. Thanks for all the hard work you've put into this story.

It had been another long day; a Saturday according to the flashy LED directly above me. He did days, months, and years, and plugged into the wall. This story has everything but the length of time between posting chapters makes it unreadable. No matter how good a story is, nobody can enjoy it or be able to follow it properly with a three and a half year gap between chapters.

Poor Brandon is so messed up at the moment, but I recognise the dilemma that he's going through at the moment and I think that this will strike a familiar chord with a lot of people. Trying to convince yourself that you're straight because you know that your life will be a lot easier that way. You've worded it really well, for a while there Brandon could have been me.

That's all that anyone really asks for. You're right; they are good people, who want to do the right thing. I know that it's not always easy for parents and I've often tried to put myself in their shoes. My parents made mistakes and it wasn't easy for me but I can't say for certain if I would have handled it any better.
