  1. “I was going to tell you,” I said. “But I was too scared.” I thought it was a good start; at least it was the truth, but he wouldn’t acknowledge me or even look in my direction. I turned towards Sue for help and she must have been able to sense my frustration. “He’s been waiting for you to come home so that he could talk to you,” she said to Daniel and this time he answered but his reply was directed at me. “Why…what’s the point?” he said. “What are you trying to prove…I don’t get it?
  2. Thank you nighthawke. Just to give you the heads up, the next chapter will be posted tomorrow and we will learn a little more about Don!

    The Apprentice

Thanks, AC. This is a cool comment. I like the comparison between the house and Andy. There is a lot more of course, to Andy than meets the eye.
  4. A squirrel carrying a pear in the park tripped over a blanket and broke his cell phone. --- Does this qualify?

    The Brat

Thanks, AC, now that @droughtquake has given me a friendly reminder. I will post it soon. This has been neglected. The funny thing is, I hate it when other people do this to me. Thanks for finding the time to read. How do you manage to read other people's work as well as write all those fine stories of your own?

Oops, did I write that? Oh dear, but chapter three will be very soon and then regular

    Part Two

Thank you for reading and commenting, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
  8. Wow, what an incredible interview. Sorry to gatecrash your party if anyone is still there, but I've just got home from work and noticed this. I like your writing and I've been reading 'The Hollow Hills', which I think is really cool. Anyway thank you, I enjoy reading about authors and how they work, influences etc.
  9. I like these Tim. Short and sweet. When I was at school the word 'Prom' struck fear into the heart of every gay teenager, especially if they were not out. I tried to keep well away myself, but I enjoyed reading this.

    Chapter 5

I'm a fan of Josh and Kevin! Great chapter. I get the feeling that a lot of people here prefer them small, but I'm easy either way. It's always the content that's most important and now that I'm up to date. I'm looking forward to more!

    Chapter 4

Another interesting chapter JayT. One more before I catch up.

    Chapter 29

Thanks for the story. I enjoyed reading and commenting, even though I'm pretty certain that every single one of my comments has been completely ignored. That must be some kind of record. Maybe it's because I'm a year behind everyone else, but it's still kind of rude!

    Chapter 28

Another good chapter. I don't think that there are too many lose ends but what is Mike up to?

    Chapter 27

I agree with everyone else; it was a really nice ending to the chapter. I'm going to have to read the last couple of chapters now!

    Chapter 22

Great chapter. I love Lane, but I'm interested to see how Joshua turns out.

    Chapter 21

The best chapter so far; I'm enjoying this even though I'm a bit behind. Curtis needs to get his act together though.

    Chapter 3

I like Jenny and I don't mind cliffhangers, especially when the next chapter has already been posted.

    Chapter 2

I'm catching up and I'm really enjoying this story. I feel sorry for Josh but the good thing for me is that I can read the next chapter straight away. Nice work JayT.

    Chapter 1

Obviously a man of many talents JayT. Not just King of the forums! How did I miss this story? I'm always the last one to catch on to good thing around here, but I liked the first chapter. TJ has had it rough but I'm glad that Scott got what was coming to him and no better person to do it than Josh. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the story.

    Part Two

I was fairly certain that this would be the case with most readers, and I'm no different because I wouldn't have wanted to read a story that was basically about a girl sleeping with a younger guy. Also, although the protagonist was bi-sexual, the only sex that was mentioned in the story was heterosexual. I was aware that posting content like this on a gay story site is usually a recipe for disaster, so I needed to keep the lid on it until the end. All I really did though was withhold certain pieces of information and allow the readers to do the rest. It was a lot of fun to do, and it did work. I got a good response from the faithful few like yourself, and some that came across it by accident, but it's gone largely unnoticed on this site. If you're not among the elite or the favoured few, then you get very little in the way of publicity or backing here. I believe in a level playing field but it doesn't work that way on GA, which is a shame when right at the bottom. Nevermind, I'm glad you liked it because I respect your opinion a lot. Oh, and you're definitely not clueless!

    Chapter 2 of 2

Yeah, there's nothing like a happy ending, that's what I love about fiction.

Thank you again, this one may return in the future.

    Chapter 2 of 2

Thank you @Magicstate I find your story interesting and moving, particularly at the end when you say you wish you had known more. Sadly, we all have to live with a certain amount of regret in our life. I wish you well, thank you again for your support.

    Chapter 2 of 2

Thank you @Canuk It is a well-worn story so I was anxious to have strong characters. I'll give it a go anyway.

    Chapter 2 of 2

Unfortunately, I went to quite a few different schools so I was never really at any one place long enough to develop a crush on someone, or that's what it seemed like.
