    Chapter 13

How in the world can you mix sadness, sex, and humor, and make such a beautiful chapter? The interwoven emotions here are right below the surface, in a surreal way that makes you think that even thought it was the first time, it was meant to be long before they knew. Tragedy brought love, and hopefully closure soon. But, your remark about the diary worries me. Also, the body question made me think a bit.. Thanks for the sweet dedication. It was an awsome, and thought inspiring chapter. Hugs
  2. Looks like they made it through their first "bitch" squabble. It's funny in a relationship that the first one is always a surprise to one or the other. I guess at the beginning of a relationship, you have to learn the signs of when your other half is in a bitch mood. lol Loved all of Chuck's friends. Feel a little sorry for Vern tho, but I really can't see Chuck in a dom/sub relationship. He's too shy and sweet. Perfect for Dylan. I love Isaac. He's turned out to be one of my fav characters. You'll understand soon why I say that
  3. I have a magnet that says, "The most beautiful gift we can give each other is the truth." Looks like it worked here. Thanks for sharing.
  4. OMG! What a powerful, heartbreaking chapter. Great writing Cole, and the emotions were over the top. Great job!
  5. What a happy chapter. It's funny when you first fall in love with someone, even tho they profess their love also, you always have the thoughts in the back of your mind that these guys have. I can remember wondering some of the same things while dating my hubby. He told me the first time he saw me, before I'd even officially met him that he was going to marry me. I didn't know what to think. Six months later, we were married, and thirty one years later, I wonder how he knew we'd make the couple that we've turned out to be. I think Chuck and Dylan definitely have a future ahead of them, and if Raleigh is as honest as Isaac is about himself, they'll go far also. Can't wait to hear about Raleigh's past. We all have one, and it's not always perfect. Great Chapter!

    Chapter 12

Sue seems to be a more than wise person. She's very observant and compassionate. Their situation is not the best, but even less so, after the tragedy that landed them there. Loss of a loved one can put a lot of resentment and hatred in a person. Richard seems to be getting past his inner turmoil. Now, I have to wonder if it was all about Bernard, or his feelings for Colton, pushing his buttons of slience and anger. I do like the turn you story has taken, and Sue's character is very soul warming. This chapter had a lot of food for thought in is as far as a person's thoughts and feelings, not just in this story, but in life.
  7. What a nice way to entertain such an array of guests. Antics of a coming of age teen that realises he's gay. Wonderful bunch of folks to be so receptive tho. You have a great cast of characters here. So many possibilities of a spin off from this story I can't wait to see what everyone's feedback is about the meal.
  8. Raleigh has a secret, and you didn't giive us any conversation between the two kellys The food sounded great. Loved the last four or five lines, but wondered if it was thoughts or said aloud!
  9. Sounds like Isaac is in love, and a better person for it. Of course, Raleigh is Chuck's friend, so he and Isaac are perfect for the dinner party. And, the Kelly's finally get to meet. This should be interesting, to say the least. Mystery date thrown into the mix should make for a very entertaining meal. Quite the set up you have here. And a free recipe! Yay!!!! I love to cook, but not as fancy as most:P
  10. You've got to be a helluva cook, or did a lot of research about food before writing this story. Chuck has turned into quite the cook. The two kittens were such a warm touch. I think all pets need a friend. My house dog, and deck cat at big buds, although the cat drives the dog nuts at times. lol I'm so glad Chuck has figured out that Dylan loves and wants him as much as he loves and wants Dylan. Of course, "Rome wasn't built in a day." I'm sure there's lots of kinks still to be worked out, even tho, your sappiness just makes my day.
  11. Hugs huh? Works for me. There's been many times I think a simple hug would have helped me when life turned a little dark, and I felt like I was in my own little bleak world. Kelli is such a supportive sister!
  12. It's wierd, but I've been married thirty one years, and it chaps me still for someone to mention one of my hubby's past acquaintances. I know that sounds crazy, but it's human nature. Imagine being as new into a relationship as Chuck and Dylan, and hearing a remark like that, no matter how innocent. It had to hurt a little, but I'm glad Chuck took it in stride, and hugged Dylan. Dylan is so sensitive and emotional, tho Chuck thinks he's the more sensitive. Great chapter!
  13. That was sweet, but I loved the honesty of realising that it was just sex and friendship, nothing more. You have me wondering what's up your sleeve for the next chapter. Doubts huh? Glad I'm behind so that I get to read
  14. Awww, nothing like a sweet first time story, and Dylan's fit the mold. Gavin was a good friend to let him down so easy, but Terrence was an even better one for going the full mile to finally get Dylan's attention.
  15. WEll, Dylan and Chuck went from two men, not quite knowing how to have a relationship, to the Merry Matchmakers. They are moving right along as a couple, and I'm so glad you've made them into such believable characters!
  16. The apology scene was hysterical. Like any other conversation, you never know all that went on unless you were there to witness it. Poor Dylan, trying to make things better, and found out the "couple of shots" remartk. lol. Sorry, that was just too funny. Might have to use that myselt

    Chapter 5

WEll, isn't Derek Mr.Nice Guy. Need to see you tonite, so I can throw you out of the house kind of guy. Noah is lucky to get rid of him. I hope Noah runs into Eli, and doesn't do the random hook up thing!
  18. Different, but very interesting. Can't wait to see where you go with this. Good job!

    Marcus

Little strong, but I don't have a problem reading your stories, Thorne. I'm just hoping you aren't your main character in real life He's a terrible little dude, any way you look at him, or however you look at him. Like a walking firework. You light him, and curses a bluestreak. lol. Pretty damn entertaining tho!

    Torn in Two

You go grandpa! I love the way you let grandpa make his grandson make up his own mind and live his life as his own, and not like he thought others wanted him to live. Great job
