Well, looks like the boys have set aside their differences in more way then one. lol Glad Micah used his intelligence and not his temper to back down the bullies. Great chapter.

Micah's thoughts were a seventeen-year old in every way. He thinks he has all the answers and like Megan says, it will probably take a fall of some kind to get his attention in the right way.

Micah still has compassion and love in him. Thinking of the money being spent for his destructive behavior and then knowing it will be the reason his mom gets no new fridge shows that he is not too far gone. I am full of hope that this program will help him and let him get a new lease on his young life. Great chapter

I can see Betty's point, but I hope it does not make Micah even more rebellious. Maybe Micah's dad will step in and give MIcah a firm but gentle hand of guidance. I certainly hope the music is not all lost, but he is certainly at a serious crossroads here and is being stubborn as most teens would.

Looks like Micah is fixing to screw up his life big time, and I can't help but blame Betty for some of it. I still don't like the relationship with Amelia. She seems to be bad news and so do her brother and his friends.

Driven mother and driven son is right. I would hope that Betty listens to Marcia's knowledge from her experience with other musicians. Not really sure that Amelia is good for but on thing, but I will leave the jury out a little longer on her. Have a feeling Greg and Micah might experiment a little together. Mght be wrong tho.

Almost missed this chapter. It was gone from the side of the forum so quick. But so glad I found it. This is one of my favorite stories and I love your two main characters and their awkward way of trying to know each other. They are so crazy about one another. Great chapter once again

Another great chapter! Jacob seemed a little nervous and insecure as he should because arrogance will get you nowhere. Thelma stuck to her guns and even against her parents wishes went to help Jacob as a friend or so it seems. I am certainly curious about Favre's asshole attitude tho.

MIcah is letting life get by without feeling his childhood and Betty could care less as long as he plays the violin. Greg was so sweet in this chapter. Back rubs. mmmmm

Well, Micah is going to be a genius if he sticks to the "how will you learn if you don't ask questions mode?" lol I felt a little sorry for Greg and Micah for different, Greg for wanting more time with him as a brother and Micah just wishing for more time so he could be that for him. Great chapter!

Betty is doing all she can to invest in Micah's future, not matter what or who she takes away from. Sooner or later will have to be some kind of repercussions for all of this. Meanwhile the "wanting to be like a normal kid" will rear it's head also. Love this story

Who are you and what did you do with the original author of this story? Your writing has improved immensely. This story has turned into the true work of a talented person who can explore and expose his character's emotions that keeps the reader wanting more and more. Your proofreader may have helped, but you are doing an awesome job. Now, I could smack you for that dang cliffhanger at the end:P Enjoyed this so much

Well, you find good stories, great stories, exceptional stories, and then you find this shining gem that just grabs you and makes you want more. This story is certainly a gem. Your character development is great, storyline is more than interesting and I always love when we throw a girlfriend into the mix. Makes for much more entertainment as the story evolves. A woman can be the your best friend or can wreak havoc in your life and I am curious if Thelma's love and loyalty will endure all that you are about to unfold here. Why do I have a feeling this story is going to be quite the rollercoaster ride? Jason has quite the competition for the quarterback position, but really Favre? He is too fickle. lol I am enjoying this story do much. Thank you!

Definitely a football fan and now a great fan of your writing. Your details of the game and the commentator's conversation was like watching the game on television or listening to it on the radio. It was right on! I have my thoughts of who is going to be the gay character also and hope that I am right. It will make it even more interesting to see how he handles his career and his sexuality knowing he is under the scrutiny of his team, fans, and most of all the media. I loved you author's note at the end. If I were not a football fan, I still would have to come back for more. Great job
