It all goes up HILL, and DOWN hill from this point on. Mistakes are made, mistakes are resolved. Take that as a hint, no more, no less. Bill differ's from Sarah dramatically, as you'll come to see even further. Does Bill have a secret past? Hmm. I dunno . If you love Bill now, WAIT until you meet Amanada oh boi!

Chapter #3 - This Changes Everything

Typing is fun! Thanks for the review. -
When writing, for me, I find music is the best way to get in the mood. Not a personal mood, but in the mind of my characters. When I'd originally written some of the scenes for Sam's New Life (which currently isn't available at GA) I listened to one song non-stop, on repeat. Chicane - What Am I Doing Here, Pt. 1, it made me feel sad. In the same way that Sam was supposed to feel, I emulated those emotions, pulled from personal experience, and then came the emotional response of Sam. Pain is easily emulated, but never easily replicated in the written word. Through time, approximately a year, with the help of many unnamed sources, I have bettered my craft of writing, especially with those difficult scenes. In the same way, for specific scenes, other music is required. I once heard, from who knows where, that music is the entry way into the soul. Music has the way of influence on a subconscious level, its beyond believable. In some ways, it was very difficult for me to pull from my most inner self to write Sam’s new life. This may be partly the reason I have pushed it away in time. Two chapters written, two chapters sitting. I have plans to pick it back up, after a time of writing Jacob and Kyle’s story. But I sometimes feel I need to stay focused. I have many fans, from nifty, that beg for the next chapter of Sam’s new life. But alas, my heart still remains with Jacob’s story all the same. I’m sure I’ll pick it up eventually, make myself feel sad, in order to write, which can be rather bad for me. Unfortunatly. As of recent, it’s been, Christina Perri - A Thousand Years, and Demon Hunter - Dead Flowers, that have helped me write. Love, romance, and the likes. So what is music to the soul? A question left unanswered.

The Journey of Jacob and Kyle Chapter #5: Torn Time line: Saturday The house lay quiet with only the darkness surrounding everything in its path. Everyone in the house currently lay sound asleep, with their minds lost in the land of dreams. Jacob and Kyle remained sleeping only inches apart, with their arms tightly wrapped around one another, and their faces so close, you would think they were about to kiss. It almost appeared that they were afraid one of them might just up and di

A Heart of Gold Today was the day; the one I’ve dreaded most these past few days. Today was going to be the day I put my father to rest. A heart attack, of all things, my mother had informed me over the phone a few days previous. How could this be? My father, Jerry, was an ex-Olympian. He’d competed in the summer Olympics as a swimmer twenty years ago, he was strong, had a good heart; or so we believed. He won a gold medal for our proud nation that year and would show it off proudly to anyone

The loss of a father is never easy, especially when it's sudden. A family grieves, comes together to put their father to rest. In the process, James, comes to realize a truth about his father.

I for one, am rather happy with the work that I, Frostina, and Andy have been doing. Working together to better the story. With Chapter #5 coming very soon, and me doing the finalized touches, I am very happy. I believe, in my mind, my soul; that this is the best chapter (written wise, flow wise) yet. But that's my perspective, other's can be the judge of that. I'm very excited to share it soon. ~Cheers~

If you think about it, many Authors, big and small, publish and unpublished, at some point instill themselves into their characters. I for one am guilty as charged. Many of the characteristics of my characters; Kyle, Jacob, Matthew. Are all a part of me. Kyle's loving and tenderness. Jacob's spitting tongue, quick to anger. Matthew's fun loving expressions, joy that dwells from within. In a way that works for me, I can easily identify with them, because, they are a part of me. So try not to fret too much on the small things, and continue to strive forward with the story that sits within that sponge mass you call your brain ~Cheers~

Okay, here we go. Quake (2&3+Live) Half life 1&2 + episodes The Elder Scrolls (Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim) Grand theft auto (1-4) Bioshock 1&2 Prototype S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Assasins Creed Among many other's. If we go back in time I would say: Police Quest Space Quest Ring world (incl Return to Ring world) One can not forget these excellent titles from the hayday of Sierra. The best adventure based company. May she rest in peace. Gotta love it!

Writing Tip Writing Tip: Character Building
podiumdavis commented on Trebs's blog entry in Writing World
(Think about the character's traits--personality, appearance, mannerisms, speech--because these usually make your characters fuller and rounder and have an effect on the course of action they will take.) For me this is a must in order for me to write, I have to play it all out within my mind, have a detailed description of who, said character, is and what they're about. This is great advice for others, who can at times just jump into a story without developing their characters before hand. Every good story I believe has done this, or at least had an idea who they're character is, was, will be. -
Chapter #4 - This Changes Everything (Cont)
podiumdavis commented on podiumdavis's story chapter in Chapter #4 - This Changes Everything (Cont)
Kyle's mom, Michelle, is the best I love her too And your right, she may be a bit clueless on gay sex. This is only the first life lesson Jacob will learn, many more to come . As for Jacob's mom, Sarah, I suggest you wait and see. Will it come out next chapter? Or 10 chapters later? Hmmm About the hinting about bad things happening, vs, good things. I can't neither confirm, nor deny. Yes payphones still exist. Kyle's mother is a single parent a cell phone would be an extra cost, money is tight. As for Jacob not having one... his father has one, but he doesn't feel their responsible enough for one yet -
Chapter #4 - This Changes Everything (Cont)
podiumdavis posted new chapter in The Journey of Jacob and Kyle
The Journey of Jacob and Kyle Chapter #4: This Changes Everything (Cont) Time line: Friday Jacob couldn’t help feeling somewhat lonely while he walked by his lonesome all the way home, he was already starting to miss Kyle very much; it was in his mind that their souls had somehow become connected into one solitary being, that it was just too unbearable for him to be away from Kyle for too long. He figured, at least within the complexity of his fragile mind that their shared dream,- 12 comments

Childs play... I used to compete in NES (old school console) in Street fighter, etc. Also used to be a HUGE quake 3 player, which is competitive to say the least. You can play it for free now on quakelive.com hehe. Anyway... As of current is Modern warfare, Batman Arkham city, Trine, Skyrim etc. I have over 100 titles on steam, plus a book full of older games. Quake 3 was my favorite, was really good too! PC Gamer all the way.

This is amazing! This in so many ways supports my underlying message within my story J&K, eventually that is. But there's more to it than just that. hehe. I love this video! AWESOME!

Chapter 6: Sue the Dinosaur
podiumdavis commented on David McLeod's story chapter in Chapter 6: Sue the Dinosaur
And now I'm caught up. Chapter #6 is quite good and getting better. I wonder the possibilities of Gary's character, what is he really after? Is he eventually going to give into what he desperately desires to do? Or is he going to be the man, he wishes, to just help boys. But I think there is more too Gary than what is being let on. Nemesis seems to have done a totally 360 turn and turned from hurting to helping, which is good. But where do his goals lead him? Is killing his objective, or is it mere cause to action? There is much murky water; one I hope comes to light in regards to their (partnership). Although I feel that it will lead to more, in regards to what Dike had said. Keep them coming
