Loved the chapter and seeing everyone together. It will be interesting to see what happens with Liam and Keon, and I look forward to more of the Cassie and Liam show.
As to your relatives, we all have family we'd rather never see. Alcohol is probably the way to go. Or maybe lock the door and don't answer? Hey, you told them it wasn't a good time!
The Pern series is great and one of my favorites. I also think the children need to be told the truth about Julia, even if a watered-down version. They already know how sick their mom is and need to be prepared just in case.
I myself am a sucker for HEA and I liked the story. Given its length, I know some things would not be fleshed out, but the main story of Jack was done well; the rest I can fill in from imagination.
Good story. Liam's reaction was great, but poor Jarren! As to the 17-year-old, my adult sons are the same. I put a memo pad near the fridge and we all write down when something is used up. It makes it a lot more efficient when shopping.
Maybe I misread it but I don't recall any pix being taken after they went into the van, only selfies after Chipper first met the men. A more serious risk in my opinion was him believing those men about whether they were clean. I hope Chipper hasn't made a big mistake here.
Great chapter. It r ties a lot of things together and it all makes sense. When Ian and Lex being foster parents was mentioned, I wondered how that would work in but it all sounds terrific. I can't wait to read more. I think Nash, Jarren and Liam will be a great family.
Great chapter. Love Liam and I'm hoping that he someday becomes part of the family. I expect some more ups and downs - but not too many - and Iook forward to more.
Damien's actions come as no surprise. I've always been a little confused as to how an intelligent woman like Christina fell for him, with all his bull. I wonder if she'll have the strength to admit what Damien did to her and stick with it. Chipper's life just got more complicated.
Definitely not total shit. It is well written and very cohesive. Your characters, as always, are interesting and engaging. I feel so bad for them, especially Nash who lost a foot. I look forward to reading more.
Nice to see Jonah is back. As to rough times, I'm not sure how rough it's going to be. A lot depends on how hard-ass the rest of the police are. I can't see Hunter being in too much trouble. He is the father and Jonah is old enough to tell what happened and that he called his father, who came as soon as he could, and Jonah climbed into the car of his own volition. .
