So far, so good. Max mixes very well with D & L and the others and I look forward to him moving in permanently. Right now, however, everyone is on their best behavior. That won't last forever and Max is a teenager, now with a disability, so mood swings are to be expected. It'll be interesting, and fun, to see our boys handle it.

Good chapter and I agree with everything ObicanDecko said. I have a theory on why Lex can't see Ian's aura but I'm keeping it to myself for now. I look forever to more, whenever you post it. Thank you for pushing through this chapter.

A lovely Saturday surprise. Before I forget, thank you for the cameo of the dads. Life goes on. The second generation, the Squad, is producing the third generation, Brad has to contend with his life-altering injuries and the others are all involved with their journeys into their futures. It's good to see that the Squad has managed to stay together despite their different paths. I've been following this story for a while and it's fascinating how it goes on without being tiresome, which happens sometimes. It always makes my day when I see a new installment. Have a good weekend.

Frustrating! I so want to know more about Lex's past but I guess getting there is half the fun. *Sigh* I look forward to reading more.

The story threw me so much I forgot to mention that. It was great seeing them. I also love seeing the Elite mix so well with the now-grown Squad.

OMG. I've sort of been expecting something bad given the "Goodnight, My Angel" title but didn't expect this. Hopefully, with all the support and his own inner strength, Brad will come through in the end. I thought CJ going to Germany was wrong but I see now that it was like a commander visiting his injured troops; Brad is part of the squad and CJ is the leader. A very well done chapter.

Just started reading this story and I fully intend to keep with it. It really caught my interest. and I want to know everything: what happened to Lex, what the tattoo is going to be, how his relationship with Ian will pan out, etc . I look forward to reading the rest.

To anyone who doesn't know, Goofus and Gallant were characters in a cartoon feature from Highlights Magazine for kids intending to show children what to do and what not to do. The mag has been around since 1946 and is still going strong. Not a bad story. I haven't thought about these two for ages.

It's good to see Louis moving forward. So much has been about Don that it's nice the focus is on Louis for a while. I look forward to when Max finally moves in.

Another good chapter. Lots of plot development that will keep our boys busy. Loved seeing the dads again. I just want to comment on CJ's attitude towards Nadine's decision. In his case, his mother discarded him after raising him, and raising him well, for 15 years with no warning. In Nadine's case, she obviously did not want to have a baby. Does CJ really think an abortion would have been a better choice? Nadine, in fact, was generous in having the baby for Thiago as she could have just aborted it. IMHO, CJ could use some counseling in getting over the last dregs of his mother's actions.

Another great chapter. L & D have a wonderful relationship. As was mentioned, they are both communicators and just have to remember to keep communicating when things get hard, as they sometimes do.
