    ACME

*Big goofy grin* Sweet and lovely.
  5. Brilliant blog! Did you know Hans Christian Andersen's "The Little Mermaid" is in fact the world's longest love letter which he wrote to woo his prince Edvard Collin after hearing about his engagement to a woman? Unfortunately the tragic end is what his affections met when the said man did not return his feelings.
  6. um... GA had already done horror themed Halloween anthology. But, I like the idea anyways.
  7. Here I thought I was carrying your baby, now I have to compete with Nostal and Thorn for your affection?! You cheat-y arro-gent fingerpants! As for the story, it is fabulous as expected. I like the rhyme and the non-rhyming parts too (or may be my rhyming skills are still blurry... blame it on the pregnancy brain!) catch my ears. The alliteration schemes are simply beautiful. Some of the words I couldn't make sense of, but, I guess that is expected. Now, I would like to pose this question to you, the structure and the vocabulary albeit intended for the children, is it really appropriate for them? I personally think it is far too complex for a child's consumption. On the other hand, we have witnessed far more complex literary masterpieces grace children's bookshelves. So, write away. Oh! and one more thing. Since, this is a translation, you should always credit the original and cite as needed. I personally would have loved an anecdote on Ikejime practices in the foot note. Not many of us are aware of that as Nostal clearly showed (See she is not suitable for you!!). Peace.
  8. There is a song dedicated to kuri? O.o I see the things are same in Japan as in the commonwealths as far as royalty goes. But, we definitely don't hear much of it outside Japan. Even on the face of a far reaching tragedy as Fukushima, we heard only a perfunctory note of address from the royalty there. Royalty of Great Britain are on the other hand a much beloved tabloid subjects for the rest of the world and therefore receives certain media coverage on other fronts too. But then again, apart from the usual notoriety and decadence, they hardly express their views on anything. On an unrelated segment, could you be kind enough to point me to the right direction, on how the hell do you write any Japanese script properly by pen & paper? I tried learning Hiragana and it is absolutely maddening. I could never get the curves right or the slashes long enough. It seems quite counterproductive to look out for every damned speck of a slash with its miniscule lengths ending at different heights for each & every time you write a syllable. Surely, it can't be a day to day practice to write with such accuracy like for example the grocery list. How does a regular Japanese learn to write?
  9. hmm interesting. Waiting for another dose of contemporary Japan. While on the subject, can you tell us what the gen Y think about the royal family? Do they know who the current king is and sorts?
  10. ^Look two Chinese cat fight! Yum! *hope it ends in a kiss*

    Dear God

Thank you for sharing this wonderful story with us. Brink has touched each and every point that I would have praised loftily. It is, all in all, a very well done short story. Hope we shall get to hear more from you.
  12. Okay. So, you are in a dire need of good editors and betas. This was a long story, so I am intentioned to overlook those faults. Now, that out of the way, I would like to thank you for sharing this amazing story with us. You rock, Dude! I, myself as an anime/manga lover, totally love this story. I loved the fact that you used IF format in a story and let me tell you, "You nailed it." Your imagery and dialogue skills are very good. And the way you really caught the essence of anime/graphic novel culture and brought it to a simple story is absolutely fabulous. Will expect great things soon. Got yourself a follower. P.S. Creative writing major?

    Chapter 1

Sweet and twisty. Would have liked more detailing on Nathan's paranoia. Not sure if I liked the fact that it ended on a proposal.

    Dual Edged Hope

Beautifully done. But, I would have wanted it to be a tiny bit longer and with a little more development. Sweet and short story.

    Chapter 1

Scary and very innovative response to the theme. I liked the way you detailed the house and the shack.

    The Pyxides

Well the previous reviews have incorporated all that I wanted to say. As always I like your style and a very interesting interpretation of the theme as well. The subject matter however is a very "non-fiction" fiction. Schools and institutions like that aren't fictional at all. Reading the news suffices to say that.

    Chapter 1

Brilliant Idea. And the fact that Adam never displayed his true intention makes it more interesting. We really don't know if that kiss was welcomed or not. Pandora's Box indeed.

    Chapter 1

Warm and fuzzy, typical Comicfan stuff. Made my day!
  19. Never come between a man and his bear. They may break you a little, but in the end they stick with you through thick and thin. Plus they are fierce lovers.
  20. In my culture, the fox says, "Hukka hua'. It's a pun on hindi "Kya hua?" meanning "what happened?". How come the fox got associated with that weird sound, I have no idea. On an unrelated note, someone actually had time to write that lyric, then compose the music, record it, then make that riddiculous video...
  21. Candidiasis?
  22. You are OLD ! *sigh*
  23. Is there a kissing booth nearby?
  24. Truth is truth whether we like it or not. Thank you for reading.
  25. It is necessary to see death. It is necessary to see death, stark naked, lurid and wild, Death as it pisses in the dark alleyways drunk and ecstatic on the jumps of drugs that are hard to name and harder to pronounce, it is still necessary to see death face to face. In a breach of society sanctioned lucidity hardwired in our brain, It is still very necessary to see death, To see the violent vandalism of civilization, Of ashes and nuclear death of atoms and atom bombs, Billions of flashlights burning up the sky, Smell of rotten carcass evaporating in sterile perfume of laboratory engineered poisons, Gases and liquids and solid whites of the eyes of the dead and the suffering of millions upon millions of innocence of ruthless greed of narcissist wankers. It is necessary to see death as it is, for the spring of flowers is nearly over and now we make war. 02/09/2013 ©asamvav111
